We walked in the front door and immediately you see a liquor store and in the back is a huge restaurant. It was so crowded that we ate outside, which I believe was actually better both since the weather was nice and not as crowded. The price of food here is really reasonable. This watering hole is a real plus to the locals. Elise was our server. Very friendly. Excellent food, large menu for every type of diner. I believe they even serve late breakfast because they open up at 10 AM. Check it out. Not the easiest place to find when you're on the highway 37 E.

Stopped in at 7ish for supper on a Thursday evening. Bar was full so I took a hi-top, ready and poised like Gordon himself to critique the menu variety and lack of bowties. Already judging the slightly too loud for comfort DJ playing the perfect mix of my guilty pleasures (not to be discussed here). However, for the crowd, service came quickly, and a beverage and entree were on the way. Burgers, seafood, and other options looked good, but my heart saw chicken parm and our fate was sealed. I noticed the $50 price for that with pasta, and was shocked, until it arrived. Then I was astounded. The portion that was brought forth could feed 3 of me, maybe 4 or 5 of average size and endurance. As I began my conquest of this challenge set before me, another server arrived with bread and EVOO/vin/etc. I assume this means bread service was late, but good LORD, ITS AS IF THE DELICIOUS CARBS NEVER END?!. The vodka sauce was classic. Chicken parm was massive, fresh, and crispy. Only gripe is the chicken was bland- needs more salt/msg/herbs in breading & seasoning. All in all, supper and service was good and theres a full menu of italian, burger, and bar food options probably worth trying. ELE OT

Well mannered , knowledgeable about the menu , sincere all well moving with a purpose. He treated us a lonely table of 2 like we were his only priority well simultaneously handling a 10 , 4 and 6 top. We sat in the side dining room facing the kitchen pass. We watched 6 pros handle business. Minimal words just chin gestures and some pointing. Some serious heat was moving thru that kitchen being passed to runners that kept that fire alive calling for garnish extra sauce and accoutrements as if it was Orchestra.Food was phenomenal. Egregious portions. Flavors layer. Sweet salty fatty creamy one after another nothing standing too far out or too far behind. The spice in the seafood dish was about right to let you know it was there but not over stay it's welcome. Plump seafood with a clean finish. We shared a bite with each other and went for seconds. The dessert a catcher's mitt size of chunk of old style ricotta cheese cake. Mind you all this was happening when they were serving a wedding of 50 in the back room. Two cons. The a/c wasn't working it was a little warm. I won't harp too much on that we had extreme weather the day prior. Number 2 . Truffle oil. The table next to us ordered truffle fries. We smelt it , the table on the far side of us smelt it. Truffle oil is so strong you can smell it on your clothes the next day.

I don't know how old the restaurant is, but I believe it's relatively new as it looks very clean, modern, has very high ceilings and a modern rustic type of feel. There are steel beams in the ceiling to the floor. The flooring is a warm laminate wood. They have booths, tables and a nice bar area. The dining room also has windows with natural lighting and also lights that come down to each table. We are greeted by our waiter and sat, he was friendly and attentive. The only thing that was odd, he didn't check to see if our main courses came ok. But overall, we really liked this restaurant. They have a very eclectic menu. We shared the Bavarian pretzel, the mustard and the beer cheese were excellent. I had the Tuscanwich with breaded eggplant. It also comes with broccoli rabe, roasted red peppers and house made mozzarella on Joe Leone's bread. It was awesome. It also comes with housemaid potato chips, which were excellent. My wife had the Smashburger with sweet potato fries. She said it was amazing. I had a Franzeskonner beer, which is very hard to find so I was very happy about that. My wife had a winter tequila cocktail, which looked beautiful and also tasted great. We passed on dessert, but we will definitely be back. They also have other really great entrées. They have a really good wine list and many awesome cocktails.

I went with clam spinach dip as an app which was 10/10 for me. The food was served cold and hard, and when I brought it to the waiter's attention, instead of trying to resolve the issue, I felt like I was being treated as though I was lying about what happened. A woman who I believe was named Hannah then came over, and I felt that she was also insinuating that I was making it up or trying to get money taken off the bill, which I found extremely uncomfortable and insulting. What was most upsetting was the way my family and I were treated. I have been a loyal customer for months and have never had an experience like this before. I understand that mistakes happen, including food not being prepared or served properly, but I expect to be treated respectfully when I bring up a legitimate concern. Unfortunately, yesterday's experience was extremely disappointing. The cold, hard food was one thing, but being made to feel like I was lying or trying to get something out of the situation was completely unacceptable. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously.

My girlfriend and I each had a flight and a full pour, but nothing I had seemed super interesting to me. I think the mark of a quality brewery is whether or not I want to bring any cans home with me when I leave. This was not the case for Toms River as there was nothing I felt I needed to add to my beer fridge at home. Everything else is 5 stars. Amazingly cozy outdoor beer garden, spacious indoor taproom, clean bathrooms, friendly staff, and a fun watch party for the Women's Rugby World Cup England vs. USA game when we were there. There is plenty of street parking, as well as a nearby lot with four hour parking. My girlfriend and I visited on a Friday evening in August. They have lots of seating both inside and out. I was very impressed by the selection of beers on offer: a whopping 26 beers and one hard seltzer, all despite the small size of the brewery. The variety was impressive as well. I've been to a lot of NJ breweries, and I saw a lot of beer styles here that I rarely, if ever, see at other places. This included a Japanese rice lager, an ESB, a white stout on nitro, a black lager, and a red wine ale. The real standouts for me were the Bluecoat (blueberry blonde), the Bayonet (honey stout on nitro), and the Red Headed Vixen (aforementioned red wine ale). My girlfriend and I each had a flight and a full pour, and we loved everything we tried. We live over an hour away, so we can't be regulars, but definitely hope to come back someday soon.
