He gave us lots of advice and recommendations which we appreciated. When I came back in, the lady at the counter seem to be much friendlier. I went from feeling like the customer service wasn't that great, to feeling like a provided good customer service. The convenience factor and customer service for this location is definitely there. They are a small hardware store, but they have a decent election for most of your projects. Grateful to have them for our DIY needs!

Fortunately, a friend knew that Alsco services lawn mowers in a building behind the hardware store. I left my lawnmower with Andy and he had it ready in two days (at a time Clark & Sons in Yuba City was quoting seven weeks). The price was reasonable, and the lawn mower fired right up on the first pull of the cord. Since I didn't have a pickup, Andy even offered to deliver it to me on his way home after work.
