The frustrating part is that nothing seemed to happen until I called to ask about it. I had to reach out just to find out if it had even been shipped. When I called, I was told it would be sent out that same day as soon as I got off the phone. That didn't happen. Then two days later, they called me and said they would send it out "that day" again. At that point, it just felt like I was being told whatever I wanted to hear rather than getting honest updates. Overall, really poor communication and follow-through. If you're looking to buy a firearm or deal with repairs, I'd honestly recommend going somewhere else. Turners Outdoorsman would probably be a better option.

He showed me a great rig for fishing steelhead in the Feather River. He rigged up one setup for me, and I copied him and did another so I knew how to rig it. In a new town, I go to privately owned tackle shop to get info on where to fish, what to fish for, how to rig up. I drove 45 minutes each way to go to Yuba City Bait and Tackle. Was totally worth it. Rhett knew where the salmon had gotten up to on the Feather River. He told me where to put our float tubes in. I caught (and released) a huge steelhead, which pulled me around in the tube for a while.

They also have guns..ammo..a gunsmith..and so much more. They have hunting clothes and all kinds of outdoor apparel. I wasn't sure what type of pole to get. I didn't give them 5 stars because it felt like a man's place only and I gave up on getting assistance. Only girl inside the store! You can get a fishing license for 365 days for about 65 bucks or even a one or two day fishing license ( about 21 bucks for one day). It is cool place if you are into hunting ( i am Not)..Guns or fishing. Btw ..bought ear plugs!

At the time I did not need any fishing information, as I was on the way home, but asked anyway. He sure knows what the bite is and where it is. The folks shopping in the store also know and were willing to share areas and methods that were working for them. All in all, a really nice shop and seems to have everything you will need for a fishing trip to Clear Lake. I'll will stop by there again for sure. I was able to get the few things that I was running out of and picked up two nice shirts while I was there. I kept one and gave one to my son. Good quality and a cool logo.
