Stopped in for a sundae. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are alot more manageable then other ice cream stands where you end up throwing away half of it. The soft serve is creamy and they have hot caramel. (Although I didn't care for it.) Tasted burnt to me. CASH ONLY

Every year I look forward to opening day at Mac's, this year was no different and then I experienced it. No fun or excitement, looked more like closing day, but without the happy feel that Mac's always provided. The service (with the exception of Steve & Nathalie) has gone down the drain... Opening day there was a child scooping ice cream, 5/2 the woman working the counter obviously had no idea what she was doing... I witnessed her LICK cherry dip from her fingers, and not wash her hands, then she used her fingers to take hard ice cream off the scoop and left a tub of ice cream out of the freezer. When my sundae was made it was small and the sauce was on top of the whipped cream & cherry!!! I was inside on a beautiful day (outside windows were closed) for 10 mins with one ice cream customer before me. The portions have shrunk, the service isn't what we have come to expect from Mac's.

My husband brought me here one night when we were tired and neither of use wanted to cook. We both ordered hamburgers and fries. I ordered a regular hamburger with cheese fries. The fries were limp and the cheese tasted more processed than usual. The hamburgers were fried greasy and tasted like they had been steamed. The buns were probably previously frozen because the top was disintegrating and crumbling while I held it. Also, no free refills on drinks...soda is cheap. The only thing that saved this meal for me were the tomato and lettuce that I ordered and ketchup. Maybe they have good ice cream but we didn't stick around to find out. I probably won't be back...

Love this place for the down home cheeseburgers and fries. The patties are thick, juicy and good chargrilled flavor. Based on the shape of the patty I'd guess it's hand formed. None of those frozen pre-made junks. There's ketchup, mustard, hot sauce, malt vinegar and other condiments you can self apply. This isn't a fancy burger but it's a great price and you can easily forgo McDonalds for this. Also got to love the ices. I get mine lemon flavored with soft serve and it's the best. Macs is my favorite of the drive-ins so far. A refreshing, great place to have in the neighborhood.

Check out the hard ice cream and Italian ice flavors. They are all home made.

This place has an amazing assortment of home made ice cream. Maple bacon or coconut anyone? And they have fantastic home made Italian ices (dairy free!) such as lemon, raspberry or mango. The mango is amazing. It's sweet yet tart and tastes like fresh mango. The texture is smooth and not icy. But here's where it gets even better. Go inside and look at their daily specials board. They have lunch combos with juicy double cheeseburgers, savory and tangy meatloaf sandwiches and about 4 other specials that come with a pile of hand cut fries and slaw for about $5. I've had both although they offer a few more specials I need to try. Everything is home made, the portions are huge and the price is right.

Coconut ice cream with macaroons. Small cone but rich and yummy. Menu also had Vegan ice cream made with Oat milk!!! They have veggie burgers on the menu, too.

This was a nice old school greasy delicious burger place with yummy ice cream! We got the bacon cheeseburger plate with homemade fries and then followed it up with the sprinkle hand rolled waffle cone filled with Cookie Monster ice cream (Cookie Monster ice cream is blue vanilla ice cream filled with cookie dough and chocolate chips! Totally worth the visit for that alone!) The only drawback was the street parking and the fries could have been crispier. The burgers were juicy but didn't come with any veggies or standard toppings. The little kids seemed to be enjoying the quarter rides and the outdoor tables were plentiful and clean. We will definitely be back.

It was darkly lit inside (with pinkish/red lights no less); it was extremely loud to the point that I had trouble understanding what my wife was saying (which might not be the background music!); and the prices were expensive. The entire night they played 1980s New-wave British music which I don't mind, but had it been something I detest I would have lost my mind. We were seated at a tiny table with a small candle which provided some actual heat on the cold winter night. Our server was extremely helpful and though he didn't have all the answers he did offer to go and find out. They have a long menu but it doesn't have a lot of food options on it, with most of the pages devoted to alcohol. They had only one dessert option when we were there. My wife and I both ordered the Hanger Steak with fries, mushroom sauce, and green salad (about $40 each). Hanger steak is my favorite cut and hard to find so I jumped on it. Food came out in about 25 minutes, which is amazing considering how small their kitchen is. The steak was cooked perfectly (they didn't ask how we wanted it), smothered in a lovely mushroom sauce, and covered an ample portion of crispy homemade fries which were so good I would have thought them bagged frozen items. Even the basic salad which was just various types of lettuce was great. They aren't cheap, but they are focusing on "farm to table" and that means quality food at commensurate (fair?) prices. Burgers and chicken sandwiches are $15, so if you want something lighter but still tasty you can go that route. Speaking of light, if you go into the bathroom on the right you will find a cold, dark, tiny room lit solely by a PINK bulb. It feels like being on a spaceship (as if I know what that is like), and after when you leave seeing the main light in the restaurant is very jarring. It was a fun experience but not inexpensive and not one that checks the boxes that I look for in a restaurant. Dark, loud, and cramped might be hip for the young or "save the earth" crowd, but I am too old to give up creature comforts for such things. The food, though expensive, was absolutely outstanding in every way though and I won't forget that steak for a long time.

Aside from the beer pours, I would recommend this place for a burger.

This was my first time at Beer Bones Bar and Grill. We went as a group of six and made a 6pm reservation, which turned out to be a good call because the place filled up quickly. It's on the smaller side and definitely gets busy. One thing to note, there is a 3% upcharge if you pay by credit card. It's posted on the door, but easy to miss if you're not looking for it. We started with pretzels and mozzarella sticks, both were very good. From there, it's clear wings are a big focus here. They have a ton of sauce options. We ordered a wing platter and tried Stebo, garlic parm, moonshine, and bourbon BBQ. The Stebo was the clear favorite for everyone, with the bourbon BBQ as my personal second. I'd definitely be interested in trying their honey BBQ next time. The wings themselves were excellent, large, meaty, crispy, and very flavorful. I'm somewhat of a wing aficionado, and these absolutely delivered. One thing that really stood out was the generous portion of celery, carrots, and blue cheese. Most places treat that as an afterthought, but not here. Everything was fresh and plentiful, which was a nice change. Bravo on that. For entrees, we were told they were out of string fries and corned beef, but pastrami was available as a substitute for Reubens. Not a big deal for our group. I ordered a cheeseburger, no tomato or onion, add lettuce, with steak fries, and asked for it well done. Others at the table ordered a Feener burger, another cheeseburger, mac and cheese, tater tots, a slider, and a Nashville hot chicken wrap. The one issue was that our waiter didn't write anything down, which made us all a little skeptical. Unfortunately, that concern turned out to be valid. One burger came out without cheese, and they were out of American, so it had to be switched to cheddar. My order came out with tomato and onion, no lettuce, and waffle fries instead of steak fries. To their credit, everything was corrected quickly. The runner brought out lettuce right away and swapped the fries, mentioning steak fries take a little longer, but they came out pretty fast. My burger itself was what I'd call medium rare rather than well done, but I was hungry and didn't send it back. Despite the mix-ups, the food across the board was very good, and the portions were large. I was full and couldn't even finish my fries, which almost never happens. Service overall was a mixed bag. The waiter was friendly and acknowledged the mistakes upfront, which I appreciated. Other staff checked in on us, refilled drinks, and made sure we had napkins and wet wipes for the wings. Once the errors were announced , they were handled quickly and without any issue. I really think if the order had been written down, this could have easily been a 5 star visit. I'll definitely be back, the wings alone are worth it, and the staff did a good job recovering from the mistakes. Next time, if we're a larger group again, I might suggest writing the order down just to avoid the same issues.
