I placed an order with Lumber Liquidators to install laminate flooring and stairs in our home…read more Lumber Liquidators sent Wagner construction out to do the measurements for the install. Wagner construction subcontracted the work out to someone else. The installers arrived to install, and said the floor needed leveling. We had the leveling done. The subcontractors came back 4 days later to install the floors and stairs. We purchased everything that Lumber Liquidators advised that we needed. Some of the material, the installers did not use. We purchased 6 stairs to be installed, and now we are getting the complete run around from Lumber Liquidators as well as from Wagner Construction. Wagner Construction is saying that they are waiting on Lumber Liquidators to provide specs on the stairs, and Lumber Liquidators are saying that they are waiting on Wagner Construction. In the meantime, my stairs are bare. They want additional money because they claim that they cannot install the treads that were provided by Lumber Liquidators, and want to build stairs based on the laminate flooring, which is way thinner than the stairs. This entire process is unacceptable. I have paid them over $5011.00 for work that is partially done. Don't waste your time or money.

I chose LL Flooring to get a new kitchen floor installed. My biggest issue with them was…read morecommunication: from the purchase of the items to the actual install, it was way more work than it should have been. Locating and purchasing the products was fairly easy as I did that online, and picked up most of the items in store; the rest were delivered to my house. However, there was NO communication to me that there were items I had to wait on at home before install and zero updates about when the contractor would be scheduled. When I finally received the last items to my home, they told me the shipping tracker was off, so they didn't realize everything was delivered, so I was understanding of that. However, I had to call the store multiple times to get information and it was at least 2 weeks before I got an answer about what was going on. Once I got the install scheduled, I waited for an hour and a half after the window they gave me {arrival between 8-10 AM) and they told me they couldn't reach my contractor. When they finally got ahold of them, the guy told me that the store told him he "didn't have to worry about it" (the scheduler says this isn't true) if the weather was too bad. There had been a huge snowstorm the day before so I understood but I would've loved communication about it as I had taken PTO from my job (I don't work from home like everyone else does these days) to get the floor done and had wasted time which I was not happy about at all. I will say, I found the scheduler to be extremely polite and helpful (Carrie). When the install was rescheduled, the guy came exactly on time and there were no issues from there. The floor turned out beautiful!
