Sharp kitchen brought back to life !!
    Lou M.

My name is Lou Meyers I can be reached at 586-506-3906. I am 1000% satisfied with the quality work performed by this company. The owner Fred wants you to be 100% satisfied. Quality material. Quality staff. i had my kitchen counter top replaced and two bathrooms. The work performed exceeded my expectations!! The owner is a great man and these days hard to find with this type of old school upbringing.... which means reputation is everything!! You will not go wrong with this company. Take the challenge and ask to see Fred and you will reconcile with my comments! Good people ....

Pink post it notes are the holes from the shards of granite they tracked into the house from the garage where there cutting was done.

I started the process of getting new granite countertops for my kitchen and bathroom. Everything went very smoothly and was always treated with respect. Granite looks amazing. My issue started with when the installers left, I was left with small holes in my ceramic tile floor on most of the tiles in the space they worked. We figured it out quickly when we went outside and walking into our epoxy garage floor that there was shards of very sharp granite from where they cut,and was being tracked in on the shoes of the workers. I found a couple pieces on the carpet going upstairs sitting in the carpet. I swept up most of the sharp pieces off my driveway and garage floor to be able to show the company in getting them to fill my floor. They said they would be over today and without calling before the male owner showed up. Okay, he told me and my Husband after a couple back and forth statements he would bring someone over to fill the holes. I thought that was the end of that for today. 3 hours later the female manager shows up at my house without calling to see the floor. Okay, we have nothing to hide come on in. Right away I was told that because I have a crack hidden under my sink that no one sees that the 30 holes all over my floor shouldn't bother me. My husband had to step in to ask her to stop with the attitude. We then made another agreement to have them filled. She would not stop saying after everything that the hidden crack doesn't bother you, but this does. She repeated that exact statement about 7x. I started crying and I couldn't handle it. I sent all the photos of the damage per her own request and never send photos of my original hidden crack since they didn't cause the damage of that old hidden crack. I would never lie and say they did something they didn't. That bothered her very much with us being honest and she was combative. Nothing we did could get her to calm down and to stop saying the same statement over and over. We had to ask her to leave our home. We already had everything figured out and I'm not sure why she came to my house without calling to start a fight. I believe she was recording me , I actually really hope she was since I was in tears begging her to stop changing the subject about something that didn't even matter. Her words were "these little holes everywhere shouldn't bother you" my reply was that when you damage my property I want it fixed. Period. This had become a nightmare. I'm honest about all the damage from what was caused and the crack that was already there. Anybody that uses this company I would recommend that you protect your own floor with a tarp since they do not. I'm very devastated this happened.

It had the original cabinets from the 1970s. The shelves weren't even, and there was barely any counter space to work with. We knew we wanted to replace all the cabinets, get quartz counterop, and upgrade the layout to be more functional. We called another competitor first, and they quoted us that the bare minimum of what we were asking for would be over $45,000, which was more than twice our budget. When we met Bill, he wasn't pushy or salesy. We told him our budget and what we were looking for, and he was able to meet every expectation. It took about 8 weeks for our cabinets to come in/be made. Immediately after that, Joe and the crew came and completed our kitchen renovation within 2 weeks. My partner and I work from home, and the renovation did not disturb our workflow at all. We'll definitely be working with them again in the future when we update our bathrooms!

Had our kitchen done 25 years before and it took months to be completed (a true nightmare). Joe Allen was so patient with us because we had no idea what we wanted plus he designed a perfect change that we needed. Every morning he showed up to check on the job and even helped with moving out all our old appliances. I enjoyed working with his son who also help in picking out backsplash and colors. We were so pleased with them that I would call them again and highly recommend them. Whats nice you can tell they love what they are doing and their work shows it. Another quick note CKD was so fast at coming to give us a quote and very reasonable. Eileen S.

Johnny, installed my bathroom vanity without doing, the plumbing first. The paint job is horrible with spots missed. My grout and caulking look like a kindergartener did it. Lastly, my tile is all wavy and doesn't lie flat. I had to terminate my contract the work was so bad and I didn't want to be further in a hole. Ray Charles could do a better job! But from the very beginning, the team at HomeWorks made everything feel doable--and even exciting. We weren't just updating the kitchen--we went all in. They installed new custom cabinets, quartz countertops, a beautiful tile backsplash, and luxury vinyl flooring throughout the entire first floor. On top of that, we got a new front door, all new baseboards and casing, and honestly the cherry on top: gorgeous crown molding that gives the whole space a finished, high-end feel. One thing I really appreciated right off the bat was their quote process. It was super detailed--nothing vague or rushed. They broke everything down clearly so I knew what to expect in terms of cost and timeline. I felt like they were being straight with me, which meant a lot, especially as someone doing this for the first time. We had two design meetings to choose all the materials, and while I definitely needed that extra time to make decisions (I wanted to LOVE every choice), their design team was incredibly patient and helpful. They never pressured me or made me feel like I was dragging things out. They just wanted me to be happy with the final result--and I am! Once we got started, the pace of the project really surprised me. Demo was done within a day or two, and not long after that, cabinets were going in. The whole thing felt super organized. The only real wait we had was for the countertops--about three weeks after the cabinets were measured. But even then, they used that time wisely and installed the flooring throughout the house while we waited. So progress never stopped. And here's something that really stood out: there were no surprise costs. Everything we agreed on up front stayed the same. No hidden fees. No "oops, that'll be extra." I've heard nightmare stories from people getting hit with surprise charges mid-project. That didn't happen here. We paid exactly what they quoted, and the value we got in return was well worth it. The whole team was great. Every person who came into our home was respectful, professional, and easy to work with. They kept things as clean as possible and were always happy to answer questions or explain what was happening next. It felt like they genuinely cared about the work they were doing--and about our experience as homeowners. Now that the project's done, the kitchen feels like the heart of the home again. It's clean, modern, and just really well put together. I still catch myself walking in and going, "Wow... this is OUR kitchen!" So if you're thinking about remodeling, I'd definitely recommend HomeWorks CGO Inc. They know their stuff, they're honest and easy to work with, and they deliver beautiful results. I'd work with them again in a heartbeat.
