My first bathroom I never received any phone calls with updates on my order and it exceeded the 12 weeks that they told me. So therefore, I was calling them to find out the status. As for the install, Danny did our install last time and he again did the second bathroom along with Jordan. Both of these guys were very efficient, very polite, and communicated each step and each task they were doing each day and I have to say very clean. The funny part is we found them by looking at the reviews for Lafatta. One of their reviews said save yourself the the trouble and go see Tony at Hollywood Cabinets down the street. How right they were. We got designs and estimates from both and these guys blew Lafatta out of the water. Thanks again to Tony and his team.

Some friends of ours recommended Albers after we had some difficulty with another carpenter our fireplace rep had recommended. Albers came to our home for a complimentary consultation. I spent perhaps 15 minutes with him & provided a sketch, description, & inspiration photos. He took some measurements, went over stain and door options and was off! Easy breezy compared to other (numerous) custom consultation I had to endure. The cabinets were done earlier than expected. The installation was today and I was nervous as I am admittedly a bit Type A & wasn't sure if they would make them the way I envisioned. Well, let me tell you they are everything I had wanted and more! The cabinets are beautiful! Excellent craftsmanship, extras we hadn't expected (like colored light options!), and the installer went above and beyond. Albers is a family owned business and everyone we dealt with was unbelievably nice and down-to-earth. If you are looking for custom cabinetry of any kind, including kitchen, bar, etc. give them a try, I guarantee you will be so very glad you did! I wanted a granite countertop for my main floor bathroom vanity. We looked around from this place…read moreall the way down to the multitude of granite shops south east of Lake Orion in Shelby/Sterling Heights. We didn't want anything fancy so we found a classic looking Gaillo Ornamental. All the shops must order from the same place because they all have this style. Long story short, MCG had the best price for what I wanted. The ordering process was pretty simple and I was able to come to an agreement on the details and price over the phone which was nice instead of having to come in again to the store. Frank came out within 3 business days to do the measurements (I did call on Friday early afternoon). The installation was scheduled for a week later but luckily there was an opening a few days before. We scheduled for Thursday from 1-3pm. I asked for a 30min lead time so I could leave work and meet them at the house. 1pm went by, 2pm, I called Frank at 3pm and he said that they got held up on another job and would definitely finish that day. I went home early from work to meet them. They didn't show up to my house until 4:30pm. Frank did text me 15 min before they arrived, but I really could have used more advanced notice and a more reliable time (I'm sure most people don't have as flexible of work schedules). The installers were very nice and made sure to let me know everything that they were doing. Really nice guys. They finished in about an hour. After they left I noticed that they didn't clear caulk an area where the counter met the backsplash and there was caulk residue on the countertop that I had to razor blade off. Both I fixed without effort, but I felt there could have been more attention to detail. The holes for the cold side valve were also off center from the other two holes. There was enough play in the valves that I could make it work and the beauty ring would cover it, but again I wanted more attention to detail especially since it was such a small piece. The finished product had great fit/finish once everything was done. Overall, it was a good experience and I would buy from them again. If the installers just took a little more attention to the small details it would be a perfect experience. It really does look great. I would order from them again and just check out the work before they leave. Update: The owner called me when I mentioned the issues and he had someone out the next day to fix the small issues. Great service. I still would give them 4 stars because it could have been done the first time, but I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to another person.

When they first came out they listened to what we were thinking and took that and made further suggestions and ideas. They then sent us a virtual 3D design that looked phenomenal. The final product turned out amazing. Counter tops, cabinets, and the finishes all came out well. We are beyond pleased with how it turned out. Like any big project there were some hiccups but they made sure it was resolved. Highly recommended if you looking for a kitchen renovation.
