My hard drive was in danger of dying. Because the Yelp reviews for Rick were great I called him. Rick not only picked up my computer, the day I called he returned it in a very short time. He was also able to recover my files before they vanished into cyberspace. He is knowledgeable, personable, and very reasonable. He answers calls right away, gives you accurate quotes, and returns your MAC in a very short time, with the work done professionally and completely. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. read more

THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!! Rick is personable, real, and so knowledgable. Our computer would not turn on and the charging cable wouldn't light up. We took it in to the Apple Store and they claimed our Logic Board was broken which would be a $500 fix and we would lose all of our data. We didn't feel good about this "solution" so we brought it to Macintosh Computer iTech. He began working on our computer on the spot and within an hour, Rick discovered that all of our parts were fully functional but simply needed to be cleaned. After wiping down a few pieces with alcohol the computer booted up immediately. All data remained fully intact and it cost us $79. I can't explain how big of a relief it is that we came here! Important side note: Rick answered the first time we called him and offered to come in on a Saturday afternoon (outside of his normal business hours) to help us. Wonderful service. read more

Rick saved the day! Within 2-3 hours, he took in my Mac laptop, diagnosed the multiple problems (water damage & other issues), and replaced my hard drive. Not to mention that his prices are GREAT and about half the cost of other repair shops. I'm thrilled with his customer service and fixing my Mac so quickly. I'll only go to him moving forward. read more

Competent, affordable and efficient service! My MacBook's keyboard and mousepad just stopped working and Rick was able to fix it in under a few hours. Thanks for your help Rick! read more

The keyboard and mouse on my mac stopped working about a month ago. I took it to a mac repair shop near my office and they told me I would need to leave it with them for up to a week -- although I could pay more if I wanted to expedite it. I wasn't prepared to leave my mac and I could still use it if I used an external keyboard and mouse. Then I looked up that repair store on Yelp and it did not have good reviews. So I decided to take my mac to Macintosh Computer iTech. This time, I was prepared to leave my mac...but Rick was able to fix my mac within 30 or 40 minutes. I was (and still am!) so happy and relieved. Not only did I not have to leave my mac, but I also didn't have to pay a fortune. Should I have any future problems, I'll definitely bring my mac back to Rick. I highly recommend him. read more

I have taken my Mac to Rick numerous times and he does a great job. His knowledge about macs is incredible and he is very thorough. I would highly recommend Macintosh computer iTech. read more

Wonderful. Honest. Quick. Why can't all businesses operate like this? The Apple Store wanted $1,140 to rebuild my 15" Mac Book Pro. A friend's kid spilled massive amounts of water into it. Rick pin-pointed the problems, fixed the machine and made some genuine improvements to it in the process, for around $300 if I rightly remember. While Apple San Francisco was profoundly friendly, they nonetheless instructed me to buy a new one and decreed my laptop as worthless. I am wary of this brand of canned fatalism. read more

Denver mac screwed me by not properly fixing my problem. Rick not only helped me but his rates are great. This Guy get the job done right in front of you if he can or you can leave it and come back. I was at work and had a mysterious liquid problem attack my computer. It was too late when I noticed it. So I looked on Yelp and found Denver MAC (see that review) They charged me $$$$ and said all good. less than a month boom....no charging to battery. UGG. Needing to get these forms and docs ready for a presentation I asked a mac buddy if he knew anyone. He's NOT going to recommend anyone who is not top in his field. Thus I found Rick. Praise Rick. I called him after leaving work from a ski mountain and spending time at the Mac store in Aspen grove, who told me that I might have to spend as much as $800.00 for the repair. Christmas just passed and I have a bad mcl to deal with.......there goes the savings. I call Rick before I embark on more miles and gas. Rick says come on down. He is located just off of HWY 6 & Wadsworth in an office building. I get there and he meets me outside to show me to his office. promptly takes the macbook apart and gives up the bad news. I need a charging port and a new logics board. he can do it for around $600.00, but has to order it in. He does explain that I can use the book if I buy an external battery charger and another battery. Ugg I think this could be a load of problems when working long times on the computer. Shut down and change out battery and boot back up. He does have a white book for $500. and will trade out the hard drives for me. So I trade in my sliver book and get $100 off the price and am ready to go. It works like a charm and I can get my stuff done and out. Now in the mean time I get home and decide that it would be nice to have a back up so I call and ask if I pay him the $100 can I have my book back? Sure no problem. So I order the extras for the unit and now I have two laptops to use in the house incase one breaks I'm not in the "holy crap" position" The fact that I spent more than what it would have cost me to repair the one unit is really wiped out by the fact that now I have two laptops for that price that work fantastic. RICK, your Honesty is the backbone of your business and why I send anyone to you without hesitation. THANK YOU!!!!!! read more

Rick is amazing, and let me tell you - I am picky!! I was told by Apple there was no way to replace an iPhone 4S screen because I naturally, bounced my phone. Called Rick on Monday morning, brought my phone to him early in the afternoon, and 45 minutes later, a perfectly replaced screen and fully functioning phone. I HIGHLY recommend him for any service he provides that you might need! He has great customer service, and mad skills! read more

Great place to take your Mac for repair! Our computer went out due to a bad video card and Rick had it up and running in a few days and charged a much more reasonable price than the Apple Store. read more

I brought my laptop (macbook pro 2011) in and Rick diagnosed the problem in about 5 minutes. It was a video controller issue that is covered by warranty with Apple so suggested I go there to have it replaced free of charge. He did not charge me anything for the diagnosis. He came in early as well! Talk about a class act guy!! Thanks Rick! I will be using your service again when I'm in the area. read more

Rick was great! My wife's MacBook Pro's screen was cracked and the hard drive was quickly dying on us. Rick was able to replace the screen with another that looked like new. He also was able to save my wife's pictures, which she was worried she would lose and upgrade her hard drive with a faster SSD. Now her MacBook is running faster than ever and I have to admit I am a little jealous. Rick definitely know's his stuff, his prices are fair and he works very quickly. I wouldn't waste any time going anywhere else if you are having issues with your Apple devices! Thanks again Rick for all of your help! read more

Great place to take your apple to get fixed. I took my laptop there to get fix it after the apple store took it apart and was going to charge me 2/3 the price of a new laptop, but after several attempts he was not able to fix it because the apple tech broke some parts getting the laptop apart. He apologize for not be able to fix it and did not charge me for the time he spent working on the laptop. In the future I will bring my laptop to him first before I go to the apple store. read more

I tried to replace my hard drive on my imac from watching a video on youtube. Soon I realized i was in over my head. I googled mapped "imac repair", many business came up. I called up Mac Computer iTech, talked to Rick. I explained my dilema to him, and within an hour I had my iMac over there. He is awesome! Helped fix my screen in a Day for cheaper than anywhere else! He took my computer, checked out what was wrong and then called me to make sure i wanted to fix it and then gave me the exact price of what it would be for him to fix it. Always has great customer service and if you call him and he is not at the office he will meet you there. Also has always had parts that i needed, a new fan, and a new battery. I got the new battery for half the price from him than at the apple store, and you cant even get parts at the apple store. I also recommended a friend to get a computer from him, that was completely refurbished. She loves it! She was able to get a newly rebuilt computer for half what she would pay at the apple store! read more

I was charged $20 for showing me the 1 one step to get to the page for the password for outgoing mail. This took maybe 10 seconds. I agree I could be charged $20 for being stupid. I brought my MacBook Pro in for some service because it was slowing to a grinding halt. Rick was sick when I called but he stayed until I was able to get across town to him. The clowns at the Apple store's "Genius" Bar couldn't figure out what was wrong in two visits to them, but Rick was able to diagnose the bad hard drive and replace it. The pricing was certainly great, poor guy will not be able to retire any time soon...but he did earn a customer! Replaced the HD, gave me very detailed instructions on how to get back on track after the failed hard drive and stayed late, (again), for me to pick up my machine. He contacted me a couple times throughout the process to give me updates and let me make some choices on how to proceed. I've been to many of computer repair places but this will certainly be the only one I swear by. Thanks Rick! read more

Came to Mr Rick Lewitt after having the worse experience at ILKENEWPC s Repair in that mall in Arvada where Sam's is at. Took Mr Lewitt under 5 minutes to fix the display on my book Pro after having it 3 days at this other place where they basically vandalized my equipment putting together in worse way. He showed me under the microscope what they had done basically crooks, disrespectful and most unprofessional place I ever stepped into. Mr. Lewitt was on his way to lunch but he went back in open his door open the laptop immediately noticed the crap job this ILIKEPC s had done al,ost damaged my equipment. He fixed the display in none time. No flat fee just for taking a look like the other place regardless they charge $60.00, in my case they threw a tantrum told me to take my business shove it and go so I wasn't charged but not worth the disrespect and having your equipment vandalized. This is the place I highly recommend Macintosh Computer Tech Rick Lewitt @ 7475 W. 5th. Av. LAKEWOOD, CO His phone 303-202-6013. THANK YOU RICK. Truly a professional classy businessman read more
