The staff at that time spent many hours with us to configure a system and to explain the products needed and the prices of each item. We had bought a Samsung Series 8+, Definitive Technology rear speakers, a DT center speaker, a Surfire subwoofer, and a Denon AVR Theatre Surround Receiver. We scheduled a instillation and the crew came over a few weeks later and installed everything to perfection. They set up the system took the specific readings for the speaker layout and set it up and trained us so it was a fun and exciting process. Fast forward 10 years and I decided to upgrade my front speakers that I had bought in 1989 and start shopping around for a new pair. I settled on the Bowers and Wilkins 704 S2. So now I got the bug to start playing vinyl again and went back to "Dave" to look for a turntable. Dave Lane personally helped me decide which turntable would be suitable for my system and showed me the Rega line. I did not want to break the bank for a turntable and after listening to the p2 I decided it would work just fine for my listening needs. I was advised that it would require a pre-amp, (not too expensive) to be able to use with my Denon AVR receiver. Dave went over how to install it, very simple, and set the tone arm to the correct weight and anti skate setting. So now I was not done I enjoyed the experience and service of Dave and had a good connection with him, (we are both the same age and business owners), that I did bite the bullet and purchased a new NAD AV Surround Amplifier to replace my original Denon which by the way still works beautifully. The New NAD is a magnificent product, although expensive upfront, it will bring years of listening pleasure and enjoyment to our family. It puts a smile on my face every time I see and use it. There were some issues with getting it set up but Dave personally came over after work and spent a fair amount of time helping to get it set up correctly. I can not say enough about Dave and his crew. His expertise and products are top notch and can manage to fit entry level components to state of the art under one roof. I highly recommend Dave's Digital. You will be treated right and they we listen to your needs and offer suggestions with sales and service and make sure you are totally satisfied.

I received their quote…read more The following contract terms I found to be onerous I agree that the Seller retains title to the equipment and materials furnished until final payment has been made. If payment is not made as agreed, Seller can remove said equipment and materials at the Seller's expense. Any damage resulting from said removal shall not be the responsibility of the seller. This paragraph in the contact were not agreeable to me. Imagine a plumber or election coming back into your home and ripping out the pipe or electrical wires if there is a Job problem and payment is being with held until fixed. I don't trust this company. My take away is that the have too many unsatisfying customers that did not pay due to unsatisfactory work. My personal conjecture.

So we headed to Brockport to this RadioShack. It's in the same shopping center as Mahan's (bonus!), across the intersection from Wegman's. The store is small, but neat and well-labeled, making everything easy to find. The staff was quite helpful, with one of the employees talking about his experience with the routers, saying that for our needs, the cheapest would definitely work (as expected). I would have preferred the Linksys, which they were out of, but the Belkin turned out working just fine. They were able to fit us in quickly and do the job that Best Buy could not. They were professional and friendly. The work they did in the car was extremely neat, they did a nice job, and did so for a very reasonable price. In fact, they were even on the lower end of the price range they quoted us. They have made us a customer, as in any future vehicles we purchase, we will come here FIRST.

I called UR Tech Store and the assistant manager told me there were no returns on software. I went back to my department and they were able to downgrade my software to run effectively (even though I had a new computer that I bought from UR Tech Store), but with tons of bugs. I realized I had no use for this buggy software as it couldn't run the latest version. The Assistant Manager was adamant that no returns or exchanges were possible. I had to shell out about 50 dollars for piece of software I have no use for! Had I been informed of the compatibility issues beforehand, I wouldn't have bought the software.

The owners name is Bob and he will make sure you're taken care of. Anything from a small system to dock your iPhone to, or a giant system for your great room, Bob will get it for you. I'm pretty sure this is the only true hi fi shop left in the greater Rochester area. I'd recommend calling Bob and making an appointment. That way you can have one on one time with him without having to deal with other people in the shop. I will admit that my encounter with the Walmart Supercenter in Rochester, Indiana was relatively…read morebrief. It's located right on Main Street and pretty much adjacent to two of the three motel options in this smaller north-central Indiana community most known for its beautiful Lake Manitou. We initially contacted Walmart after I popped a tire on my wheelchair while riding the Nickel Plate Trail. It took multiple calls to get an answer, either because no one picked up or because when they did the transfer never got answered. Finally, however, we were able to get an answer and were told that, yes, they did actually have the size of inner-tube that I needed for my wheelchair. It was going to be held for us. We arrived not long after our phone call and my road support person went inside to pick it up. Sadly, we'd been given poor information and they actually didn't have what we needed. It's frustrating to go out of your way to a store having been told something was in and it simply wasn't. We'd given them the exact size we needed - so making a mistake is really not okay and it set me back. Fortunately, we were able to finally get the issue addressed in the next community we visited. Despite the error, I will note that employees were friendly and tried to be helpful. They did make a bike shop recommendation and did give the correct info regarding their hours. So, kudos for that. This store was also cleaner than many Walmarts I've visited and generally had the smaller town vibe that likely makes it a destination spot for Rochester residents. This certainly wasn't a great experience - and giving accurate information about supplies is a basic of customer service - however, beyond that this was a solid mid-range experience and I'd certainly return when in town for basic needs. I'm sure it's a great option to have it so close to a couple hotels.
