So we headed to Brockport to this RadioShack. It's in the same shopping center as Mahan's (bonus!), across the intersection from Wegman's. The store is small, but neat and well-labeled, making everything easy to find. The staff was quite helpful, with one of the employees talking about his experience with the routers, saying that for our needs, the cheapest would definitely work (as expected). I would have preferred the Linksys, which they were out of, but the Belkin turned out working just fine. First to talk options and get estimates and make an appointment. 2nd was to drop off the car. In-between, I did do some price checking. And everything was within the same range. Dropped the car off early since I knew it had to be there awhile. When I called later in the day to get an estimate for a pick-up time, it was about done. Someone walked me through the changes and new equipment. I was pretty comfortable without this but it was fine. I also had someone else in the parking lot with me. But the business should note that some individuals may not want to sit in their cars alone with a stranger. And, if you are picking up your car, bring a friend in this situation to sit with you for the tutorial!

They were able to fit us in quickly and do the job that Best Buy could not. They were professional and friendly. The work they did in the car was extremely neat, they did a nice job, and did so for a very reasonable price. In fact, they were even on the lower end of the price range they quoted us. They have made us a customer, as in any future vehicles we purchase, we will come here FIRST.

And then from your email: $40 deposit that we do apply towards that repair. So why didn't I get my deposit back? Especially if the film, in conjunction with the backlight, was a KNOWN ISSUE. I dropped the TV off Tuesday, 11/14. Was told I'd get a call with an update. I CALLED on 11/20 and was told he'd check on it and give me a call right back. I HAD TO CALL AGAIN, on 11/27 (AFTER BLACK FRIDAY WHEN I WOULD'VE BEEN ABLE TO GET A GOOD PRICE ON A TV IF I KNEW I NEEDED ONE!) to check on it as NOBODY called ME - and at that time you told me about the KNOWN ISSUE of the film THAT ALWAYS HAPPENS WITH THESE TYPE OF BACKLIGHT ISSUES - and it was recommended that it wouldn't be worth the repair as it would not result in a good picture on the tv. You offered to recycle the TV for me or I could come pick it up. I came to pick it up and was told I wouldn't get the deposit back...WHY NOT? It is a deposit, that as you state, goes toward the repair...I was advised against the repair - so refund my deposit. If, at any time, you had said - I don't know, maybe even when you sent the "free quote" - backlight issues are notorious (Like almost 100% of the time) for having a film that melts and prevents a quality repair - we can take a look at it for $40, OR there's a $40 fee, or it's really not a free quote as it will cost you $40 - that would be a different situation. But that's not what you said - you said, again in your email "$40 deposit that we do apply towards that repair". Since we paid in cash - please send a check for $40. UR Tech Store sold me a piece of software that was incompatible with my computer. I went to my…read moredepartment tech help desk and they were unable to fix it. I called UR Tech Store and the assistant manager told me there were no returns on software. I went back to my department and they were able to downgrade my software to run effectively (even though I had a new computer that I bought from UR Tech Store), but with tons of bugs. I realized I had no use for this buggy software as it couldn't run the latest version. The Assistant Manager was adamant that no returns or exchanges were possible. I had to shell out about 50 dollars for piece of software I have no use for! Had I been informed of the compatibility issues beforehand, I wouldn't have bought the software.

The owners name is Bob and he will make sure you're taken care of. Anything from a small system to dock your iPhone to, or a giant system for your great room, Bob will get it for you. I'm pretty sure this is the only true hi fi shop left in the greater Rochester area. I'd recommend calling Bob and making an appointment. That way you can have one on one time with him without having to deal with other people in the shop. It's located right on Main Street and pretty much adjacent to two of the three motel options in this smaller north-central Indiana community most known for its beautiful Lake Manitou. We initially contacted Walmart after I popped a tire on my wheelchair while riding the Nickel Plate Trail. It took multiple calls to get an answer, either because no one picked up or because when they did the transfer never got answered. Finally, however, we were able to get an answer and were told that, yes, they did actually have the size of inner-tube that I needed for my wheelchair. It was going to be held for us. We arrived not long after our phone call and my road support person went inside to pick it up. Sadly, we'd been given poor information and they actually didn't have what we needed. It's frustrating to go out of your way to a store having been told something was in and it simply wasn't. We'd given them the exact size we needed - so making a mistake is really not okay and it set me back. Fortunately, we were able to finally get the issue addressed in the next community we visited. Despite the error, I will note that employees were friendly and tried to be helpful. They did make a bike shop recommendation and did give the correct info regarding their hours. So, kudos for that. This store was also cleaner than many Walmarts I've visited and generally had the smaller town vibe that likely makes it a destination spot for Rochester residents. This certainly wasn't a great experience - and giving accurate information about supplies is a basic of customer service - however, beyond that this was a solid mid-range experience and I'd certainly return when in town for basic needs. I'm sure it's a great option to have it so close to a couple hotels.

When having it inspected, I Was told the disk appeared to have been pirated. My console was playing all other disks just fine, so that wasn't the issue. I tried to return it because I had gotten the last copy. They told me they couldn't return it due to copy right laws, and that I was out of my money. They would not do a single thing to compensate me. You can't resell the game anyways, so why can't you give me my money back? I went through corporate even, and they wouldn't even help me. Walmart is a money hungry company that does not care about their customers. Especially this location. I tried leaving no stars, but it wouldn't let me post this review without one
