I went back to my department and they were able to downgrade my software to run effectively (even though I had a new computer that I bought from UR Tech Store), but with tons of bugs. I realized I had no use for this buggy software as it couldn't run the latest version. The Assistant Manager was adamant that no returns or exchanges were possible. I had to shell out about 50 dollars for piece of software I have no use for! Had I been informed of the compatibility issues beforehand, I wouldn't have bought the software.

The owners name is Bob and he will make sure you're taken care of. Anything from a small system to dock your iPhone to, or a giant system for your great room, Bob will get it for you. I'm pretty sure this is the only true hi fi shop left in the greater Rochester area. I'd recommend calling Bob and making an appointment. That way you can have one on one time with him without having to deal with other people in the shop. It's located right on Main Street and pretty much adjacent to two of the three motel options in this smaller north-central Indiana community most known for its beautiful Lake Manitou. We initially contacted Walmart after I popped a tire on my wheelchair while riding the Nickel Plate Trail. It took multiple calls to get an answer, either because no one picked up or because when they did the transfer never got answered. Finally, however, we were able to get an answer and were told that, yes, they did actually have the size of inner-tube that I needed for my wheelchair. It was going to be held for us. We arrived not long after our phone call and my road support person went inside to pick it up. Sadly, we'd been given poor information and they actually didn't have what we needed. It's frustrating to go out of your way to a store having been told something was in and it simply wasn't. We'd given them the exact size we needed - so making a mistake is really not okay and it set me back. Fortunately, we were able to finally get the issue addressed in the next community we visited. Despite the error, I will note that employees were friendly and tried to be helpful. They did make a bike shop recommendation and did give the correct info regarding their hours. So, kudos for that. This store was also cleaner than many Walmarts I've visited and generally had the smaller town vibe that likely makes it a destination spot for Rochester residents. This certainly wasn't a great experience - and giving accurate information about supplies is a basic of customer service - however, beyond that this was a solid mid-range experience and I'd certainly return when in town for basic needs. I'm sure it's a great option to have it so close to a couple hotels.

At 9:45, my husband called and he said (get this) he was late because he inhaled suds while in the shower. He said he was on his way. At 10:30, still no show, we texted him and told him to forget it. He never replied. During this, he wasn't answering his phone and his voicemail was full, too. And these were not even the first time something like this happened. Once before, a couple years ago, he came to give an estimate and during the estimate he fixed a small problem and said he would send us his estimate for the whole job. Then he couldnt come back to do the job bc he hurt his foot. Even though we now had to find someone else to do the entire job, we sent him a check anyway for the small repair he did during the estimate because we felt bad he had been in the hospital. He seemed like a good guy back then. But now I think maybe that was not true either. Anyway, I would not recommend. I don't like leaving bad reviews. But someone else one time posted a review about a company I was just about to sign a contract with. That person saved me from making a huge mistake. So now, when something is really bad, I do a review.

I warn VERY strongly against hiring Druk…read more Druk was very pleasant when I reached out and quick to ensure that he could repair my phone screen. I paid him over $200 to repair it on site. That night, I noticed that the phone screen would turn dark while using it. By the next day, the screen was completely inoperable. As I pressed the side buttons trying to turn it off (because the screen was now totally blank) my phone called 911 and ALL of my emergency contacts. Because the screen didn't work, I could not stop the calls and had to talk to all of these people to explain- pleading with them not to send the police or paramedics. I made an appointment at the Apple Genius Bar ASAP and paid $360 for Apple to remove the counterfeit screen from Druk and replace it with a working one. I was informed that the counterfeit screen fom Druk was not even sealed onto the phone correctly. Even worse, when I called Druk, he refused to refund me. BUYER BEWARE: if you choose to spend $200 with Druk, you will have to spend at least $360 or more to repair his "work" with a dealer who actually knows what they're doing.

Exemplary customer service. The fellow who helped me pick out a head unit was Yoda-like in his knowledge of the stuff he sells. The install team did great work. While I waited, the young man behind the counter even drew me a diagram on how to run my hdmi cables from my plasma and playstation to my my AVR. He could have sold me a service or a cable I wouldn't know what to do with. Instead, he essentially gave me a free tutorial and written instructions. I will be back. read more

I spent a week trying various software and hardware fixes on my own before having the sense to bring it to Microworx, where they pretty much instantly diagnosed and fixed the problem. I was impressed by how carefully and thoughtfully the technician listened to my explanation of exactly what the symptoms were, which of course might have had something to do with why he was able to repair everything so effectively. Beyond that, they left me an incredibly detailed voicemail message explaining exactly what had caused the problem and how to fix it if it ever happens again. Beyond that, when I got home I discovered that my entire computer (keyboard, screen, etc) was cleaner than I ever remember seeing it. Beyond that, the price was extremely reasonable, and less than they had led me to expect. I had a terrible experience here 20 years ago and have refused to patronize them since. Of course all of the personnel are different now, and I am so glad I finally gave them another chance. I am absolutely delighted with this place.

I thought this employee was the manager/owner and I was not not sure how to proceed. I decided to stop in the shop one last time and that is when I met Todd, the actual manager/owner. I wish I had known about him before that day. I explained what happened and he was very confused. This had never happened before he told me. I even showed him my drop off slip. The vacuum was nowhere to be found. The employee was there that day and did not admit that he made a mistake and that he had misled me multiple times. Instead, he just kept telling us what a terrible vacuum brand this was. My vacuum was not old or terrible. In fact, it was still under warranty. Todd eventually called me and left a message wanting to know what date my family member was in the shop so he could check the cameras?!! I called him back the next day and left a message. However, no response. To this day, no one has responded. Never have I had such poor customer service. Instead of working with me and apologizing for losing or reselling my vacuum, they ignored the problem. So, no. I don't recommend using Supervacuum on Winton Road.
