I picked up my rentals on Friday and had them until Monday and the price was so reasonable! We saved a TON of money by not having a DJ and this was such a good solution. They turned around a quote quickly with a detailed equipment list, which helped me get approval from the wedding party for the quote and the set up. Gear was prepped on time for pickup at the shop (go walk around the shop, it's a cool place!) and Andy helpfully labelled the gear and gave me a quick walk-through to be sure we had everything. The equipment and cases made set-up and tear-down fast, efficient, kept wear and tear to minimum. The ceremony set up was a real positive for being outside on a windy day - no problem hearing every word in the back row. Wish I had another stage or music event planned, I'd work with this crew again before going anywhere else.

The owners name is Bob and he will make sure you're taken care of. Anything from a small system to dock your iPhone to, or a giant system for your great room, Bob will get it for you. I'm pretty sure this is the only true hi fi shop left in the greater Rochester area. I'd recommend calling Bob and making an appointment. That way you can have one on one time with him without having to deal with other people in the shop. They were fantastic. About a week ago my computer started refusing to boot from the internal drive…read more(though thankfully it still booted from a USB drive). I spent a week trying various software and hardware fixes on my own before having the sense to bring it to Microworx, where they pretty much instantly diagnosed and fixed the problem. I was impressed by how carefully and thoughtfully the technician listened to my explanation of exactly what the symptoms were, which of course might have had something to do with why he was able to repair everything so effectively. Beyond that, they left me an incredibly detailed voicemail message explaining exactly what had caused the problem and how to fix it if it ever happens again. Beyond that, when I got home I discovered that my entire computer (keyboard, screen, etc) was cleaner than I ever remember seeing it. Beyond that, the price was extremely reasonable, and less than they had led me to expect. I had a terrible experience here 20 years ago and have refused to patronize them since. Of course all of the personnel are different now, and I am so glad I finally gave them another chance. I am absolutely delighted with this place.
