They have everything from concert tees, albums (vinyls, cassettes, cds), guitars, pedals, etc Some stuff you see in there just isn't preserved correctly though which is really sad... some stuff has been sitting in sun light so long and is so faded its heart breaking. They could definitely go through a lot of stuff to make some space in the clutter. I know that's part of the charm but it really makes it look like shit in there. I took my fathers violin in to be appraised a few years ago. Ken Sullivan admired the case but said…read morethat the violin had a crack in the soundboard so it would have to be sent to Cleveland for further appraisal. I agreed. However when the violin was returned and I was informed the crack need to be fixed before it could be appraised I noticed that original case was missing. It was replaced with a different case. When I enquired about the original case I was informed that they threw it away. To say I was shocked was an understatement. At the time I was too busy to follow up. I live in Buffalo NY and could not find the time to travel to Rochester to confront Ken Sullivan about this. For someone who admired the case and then told me he threw it away is the most insulting thing I have ever heard. Now that I have the time to think about this I feel compelled to write a review. I would never trust this company again.

The trade in policy is unbeatable. I won't bother with any of the other string stores in the future. Sullivan's definitely made a great impression on me. P.S. the luthiers are very willing to come talk to you and let you watch as they deal with your instrument which is really cool and I believe, uncommon.
