Alex was nice and extremely knowledgeable as he helped us through the process of tree selection depending on our location and where we were intending to put them in the yard. In addition to all information he shared during the visit, he also emailed notes about pruning of the bought trees. All the three trees have taken really well so far and have been doing well. I await the first fruit but I am certain that it will be amazing. Alex has recently provided me with guidance on pruning, fertilizing and soil amendments, which is more than a year after my purchase. That is great customer service, and continued support. I appreciate that a lot! Highly recommend.

I even found a fig tree type here that I couldn't find anywhere else. The man helping me was very, very nice and informative. He was very helpful and offered lots of education on taking care of the plants. I got a fig, a white peach and zapote tree. I eventually want to get many more and turn my backyard into a little Eden. Should I add an apple tree for some drama? Lol I sure hope I can keep these trees alive and they thrive! So glad I found this place :)

After thoroughly and reasonably explaining my situation over the phone to an employee at this location (since they don't allow walk-ins at the moment), they refused to exchange the item, or even take a look at it. It's unfortunate, as I've done well over $100k in shopping from Greencoast over a several year span, and I certainly won't be back. Not to mention the degree of price gauging that occurs on any given visit. Simply put, a very unprofessional hydro store. For good measure, here is a picture of the product.

When I drove here, I was created by Anthony Gardner, a cheery, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and helpful guy who showed real interest in my needs. Purchase some hedges and all were thriving except one. It quickly became dry, yellow and sickly…read more All others were planted the exact same way and thrived. Probably fungus on the plant when we bought it and didn't see it. When I spoke to the owner he was belligerent and refused to exchange the plant even though it was sold to me defective. His response was that everything dies. Surely, plants die but not one week after purchasing them if they are healthy plants at the nursery. Just know that you are rolling the dice buying plants here. The owner won't do the right thing, no integrity, and doesn't guarantee anything. He's also quick to anger and speaks in a low class manner. Just to think, had he been courteous and exchanged the plant I would have been a loyal customer for years. His unprofessionalism is costing his business money.

WOW! I thought,…read morehmm, do I want to pick out and plant a few Fruit Trees myself, or has experience shown me that someone with decades of practice and results may guide me to better decisions? From our first trip to Moon Valley Nurseries in Fillmore to pick out the Trees, Roy guided us on why certain trees, although maybe less tall, were a far better tree overall due to the health of the tree and leaves. Therefore, I chose a less tall Mandarin Fruit Tree, because I want a better fruit producer over the decades when I pick my own fruit from my own tree. Roy explained how space in the middle of the tree will allow air to flow through the tree which will allow the tree to breath better, therefore produce better. On and on... Amanda, don't tell Roy, collaborated with me on maximizing the 60% sale price combined with delivery fees and a year's maintenance contract (some goodies included) for all 3 Fruit Trees. Each one of the 3 Fruit Trees now in my yard look stunning and healthy and I am excited to see how quickly they grow and how much they produce, which Roy estimated for me on each Fruit Tree. The day of planting, Mauricio showed up with 5 men and 2 trucks and in less than an hour my 3 Fruit Trees had the holes dug out, professionally planted, fertilized, and thoroughly watered for the first time. I would be spending a good part of the day just digging out the first hole that needed to be at least 2 times the size of the tree container...for one tree, let alone 3 trees! As for all the rest they did, I would have worried about what soil amendments and fertilizers to add now versus later. All of this was done for us! After planting, Mauricio handed us a Professional Colored Brochure and explained what we need to do for the rest of the year, to keep our Fruit Trees staying healthy, growing, and producing a lot of fruit. Oh, and Moon Valley Nurseries will be coming out to my home 3 more times during this year, observing and guiding me on each Fruit Tree. We are also excited that each tree comes with a guarantee. We would not have obtained this length of guarantee on trees we simply went and picked out at a Nursery. But that is not all Mauricio did for me. I had struggled over where to place the Fruit Trees in my yard. Mauricio explained to us where he would place each tree and why if this was his yard. Now that all 3 Fruit Trees are in place, I can see exactly why Mauricio chose each spot for each tree. The one that will grow the largest has the most space available. Two other trees were placed yards apart, so they would be able to grow to their maximum height and width. But trees were also placed so I can see from one tree to the next. So grateful for the experience and cannot wait for my own orange juice! Thanks Amanda, Roy, Mauricio & Crew.
