Recently bought a home from Providence (Keighley Place). I looked at many, many models from…read moredifferent builders and was so happy to find a home that just has a straightforward layout (no weird extra rooms or wasted space) and the homes come (standard) highly upgraded compared to others that I looked at. They advertise themselves as being "luxury homes"...which is not necessarily the truth... The building process was....slow. I was told finish in 4-5 months...well...9 months later and we're just now completing the process... The main problem is that there was NO communication from the builder re: the delay. After the 5 month mark passed, I basically just had to drive by my home periodically to try to gauge how far along it was.. Another problem is these homes are not built luxuriously. The framing was a mess! I'm pretty sure I could've done a better job and I work in IT. The rest of construction was haphazard and thrown together and just didn't look good. When I went to check out the house a few weeks before closing, there was a cigarette butt smashed on the tile and the house reeked of smoke. I went into the guest bathroom to flush the cigarette and found someone had left a nice little present in the toilet...which was able to be flushed..not sure why they didn't flush. The finished product looks ok ... but I am afraid of what lies beneath..hoping the house holds up long enough for me to enjoy it and get the h*ll out. All in all, I like the way my house *looks*..I'm happy with the layout..I just don't think it is a "luxury" home..I don't think the builder does a good job..and I really think they just need to get it together - just in general. The builder doesn't seem to have any control over the contractor. The customer service is not good. It's just not a good experience. There's really no other way to explain it...just...not good. Buying a new home should be a happy and exciting time and this was not...it was stressful and annoying. It took too long and no one seemed to know what was going on. I have not purchased a new build home before, but according to my realtor, this is not the norm at all. I'm disappointed and would NOT buy another home from this builder.

We recently replaced the roof on our historic home with Sunvek. We needed to approximate the…read moreoriginal 1954 roofing on both our main house and guesthouse as closely as possible and replace some details that had been removed over the years. David, who prepared our quote, was knowledgeable and friendly. He helped us understand what the original roof looked like and what products were available today that would approximate this look. We were happy with the price and impressed with the expertise. There was some confusion with the product delivery due to the fact that we had to push back our installation date, however this was resolved quickly to our satisfaction. The only issue we had was a communication issue with the project lead, Paul. We did have to resort to calling the corporate office to get needed information. However, once the communication issue was resolved, Paul was good to work with. The real stars of this project were the installation team members! They were extremely hardworking, and did a meticulous job scraping the FOUR layers of roofing off and laying the new shingles. Our property was left immaculate and our pool was uncovered each evening when they left so we could use it. We were so impressed by the job they did! Overall, I would highly recommend Sunvek.

They investigated the source of the leak and determined that the cause of the problem was stucco related and not a problem with the window itself. They removed the stucco from the area, repaired the problem, and applied new stucco and painted the area. Looks perfect. Can not even tell what section of the stucco was replaced. All of the people I dealt with were professional and easy to work with. They kept me informed throughout the process and made it clear from the beginning of the job that they would work with me until I was fully satisfied. I highly recommend TWD!!

I was looking for a good solid company and a good honest contractor to do a complete remodel to my…read morehouse. I decided to hire Juan and his company G&C Construction to start construction on the master bedroom and master bathroom of my house and depending on how they would do I would hire them again to complete the rest of my project on remodeling the rest of the house consisting of three other bedrooms a bathroom, hallway, kitchen, family room dining area in all about an additional 1600 ft². I hired Juan and G & C construction towards the end of July 2023 and work was to begin on The master bedroom/ bathroom on August 3rd 2023. Juan had quoted me at just under $20,000 to complete my master bathroom and bedroom remodel. He guaranteed the work/ job would be completed in 3 to 4 weeks with the end date being September 4th 2023.... Juan and his crew or really I should just say his crew or maybe whatever guys he could find not really him. Juan never actually lifted a hammer or did any actual work on the house himself. And the crew of guys that he would bring into my house performed the poorest quality of crafted ship I've ever dealt with. A complete nightmare... 1 year later and Juan and G&C Construction are still in my bathroom trying to fix all the mistakes and damages they have caused to my house. If I could only describe the horrible job that I received on my shower. To start the man that Juan hired to do the tile job on my shower his name was Jorge. Jorge spent 4 weeks in the shower alone trying to lay the tile the right way. I voiced my concerns to Juan about Jorge on the very first day when I noticed Jorge cutting my tiles and chipping them with a dry grinder and not using a wet saw. He then proceeded to lay the tiles on the wall using pieces of ripped cardboard as spacers and not actually using real spacers and clips. Needless to say the tiles were all uneven, crooked, chipped, bowed and nowhere close to level. Time and time again Jorge would cut the tiles chip them lamb uneven and I would have to tell him to do it over again and over again to the point where Jorge was getting angry with me and Juan would just keep bringing Jorge back to do the same s***** job over and over again. One month alone was wasted on Jorge trying to cut in lay the tiles correctly. And Juan would continue to insist on using him Even though I had voiced my concerns about him repeatedly. One year later now and Juan is still trying to fix the shower or at least so he says. Juan has still yet to complete the job I have paid him to do. I will have to update this post if he ever does make it back to do the job that I had hired him and paid him to do. But as of today he is still postponing me and has still not completed the job I hired him for. One year I have been trying to work with Juan for a three to four week bathroom remodel. Ridiculous. Absolutely the worst contractor anybody could ever hire. If you went a huge headache and want to waste a lot of money then definitely hire Juan and G & C Construction.

We felt like he did this to make up for the time and money he lost on the master project.

I am happy that I took the chance and went with them. I am very pleased with the work and transaction that took place with Zobec Construction. Donnie was very knowledgeable and transparent. They had the fairest price in town and when the scope on the work changed to include much more work, the estimate did not change. I was shocked!! Most companies are looking to add on whatever they can to get more money, not Zobec or Donnie. I felt that he really cared and wanted to get my project done with the utmost professionalism and pride of ownership. It was really refreshing to see such integrity in a company, and especially for such a small job accordingly. I had some issues with my roof that I needed some specific repairs and then I needed it to be documented in a way that would show the buyers of my home progress of said repairs. Donnie took photos of before, during, and after. He compiled these photos on the invoice so that I could present them to the buyers agent and instill confidence that the repairs had been completed per our contract. I was very pleased as this service was over and above what I expected. He really understood what was needed and delivered on all accounts. Way to go! Donnie was communicating with me over the entire project being very transparent and concise. He was early to all appointments and did exactly what he said he was going to do; this company is a rare find indeed.

My job was small...one tile pulled off by a tree during a storm. Donnie had me send him pictures. I already had the product info (from builder) so he went to the distributor, picked it up, along with 3 tiles for future need, and installed the next day. Bless his heart! It took and hour, plus he walked the roof and took care of some other tiles. He came quickly and was efficient. He charged me far less than the roofer who installed the roof was going to charge, plus they were going to make me wait 2 weeks for the evaluation and then have to come back with the tile, even though they had the product info. He'll be my go-to-roofer-dude!
