Joe came by and determined that the tree was still in good shape and would just need some clean up work. Our original estimate for when he could get out was September, but he found time nearly a month sooner and was able to get our tree pruned and shaped in one afternoon. He and his team did all of the clean up work before we even got home from work. We're super happy with the results and the price was very reasonable. We'll happily hire Scott's Tree Service again for their professionalism and work.

Josh came out right away to look at it to see if there was anything we could do to save. Sadly there was not. The crew came out shortly thereafter took down the tree left me all the mulch as well as couple of chunks that I requested and cleaned up the several weeks worth of needles that had been falling from the dead tree. They managed to carefully place the limbs so not one of my irises was destroyed. All for a price that was totally reasonable. With the tree trimming the team managed everything from getting the power shut off to cleaning the detritus. Quality, quick response time, and really nice folks while I mourned my tree.

I honestly debated turning the hose on them, not to chase them off, but to keep them from melting. Four hard working men trimmed, cut, cleaned, and transformed my overgrown yard into something that actually looks civilized (and fabulous, might I add). One even climbed a tall tree with a chainsaw like it was just another Tuesday. Total pro. No drama, just leafy greatness. They were respectful, fast (done in about 2 hours!), and even cleaned up after themselves. If tree care were an Olympic event, these guys would take gold, chainsaw relay and synchronized branch hauling included. Highly recommend Myers Brothers Tree Care. The extreme snowfall in Lake Tahoe last winter took a toll on our property, and the roof was damaged as a result of several large branches falling out of these trees under the stress of the snow load. Great Basin Tree Care used all kinds of special techniques and rigging to carefully remove them to minimize any further damage to our home. When they had removed the hazardous trees, they focused on pruning the remaining trees on the property to reduce the risk of snow loading. During the estimate, the managing partner, Josh, walked my property and spoke on the condition and health of the trees (he is ISA Tree Risk Assessment qualified - ISA # WE-13871A) and offered suggested solutions. I scheduled an appointment for their service the following week; they showed up on time, left the area cleaner than found, the crew was knowledgeable and professional, and the estimate was very reasonable. Additionally, my neighbors also scheduled services. Although I only needed tree trimming, other services offered include tree removal, stump grinding, risk assessment, emergency response, and planting.
