Great service! I needed all of the trees (7 in total) on my property cleaned up, and after getting some quotes I decided to go with Bear Mountain Arborist, and I'm happy that I did. They were on time with a full crew, every guy was nice and professional, all thanking me for the business. Some of my trees really needed a good trimming and shaping (see pictures), and they made the trees look so good. I will definitely be calling them again for tree maintenance. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience with Bear Mountain. Bryan and his crew were efficient, clean and thorough. Our trees never looked so good upon completion. They're worth every penny.

Hired Bear Mountain Arborist (Bryan Atkins) and his crew to remove a very large Elm tree that was close to the house and had several branches overhanging the roof. They are a very experienced and professional crew. They arrived on time and called ahead to let me know they were on the way. They go to work right away, and cleaned up when they were finished. Very reasonably priced and great value for high quality work. I can honestly highly recommended Bryan and his crew for tree work, especially in cases where skill, experience and professionalism are required due to trees being in difficult locations - close to house, roof, fence, etc...

The next day, Bryan followed up with a phone call, and explained why one particular tree needed extra pruning.

The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and showed great care for both safety and detail. I was home the entire time and watched quite a bit of the progress through the windows (not out of worry, but because it was fascinating to watch them work). One of our trees was within five feet of the house, with large limbs hanging directly over the roof, and they were incredibly careful--there was never a moment when our house felt at risk during its removal. The cleanup afterward was excellent, and when my husband and I asked if two trees (a crabapple and a pear) could be shaped and lowered just a bit more, the crew responded with friendly smiles and handled it immediately--no hesitation or attitude. We're thrilled with how everything turned out. I would happily recommend Silver State Tree Company to anyone in need of professional, courteous, and skilled tree service. We'll absolutely call them again when it's time for more work.

They came out to walk the property and view the work to be done. The next week I received an email work proposal and the cost estimate. Next, I had to accept the proposal and schedule a date for the work. Surprisingly, they had lots of availability within the following two weeks. The crew of insured professional arborists came out to work for a full 8 hour day. They arrived on time according to schedule. Walked the property with me once again and got to work. The crew of three brought out a wood chipper and hauling truck for removal of all the debris. I was able to make a couple of changes to my work order while they were on the job. Payment can be made by cash and credit cards get charged a 3% fee. Shout out to Landon, William, and Kevin P. for being so personable, doing a great job and completing the work as specified.

They were professional, efficient, and had the tree down and stump removed quickly with no hassle. While they were working, Patricia (the arborist) stopped by to talk about replacement options. She was extremely knowledgeable and recommended several trees that would thrive in our soil and sun/wind conditions. During the consultation, she also noticed a few pruning opportunities on other trees and had the team shape the young ones for healthier future growth. Excellent service from start to finish -- highly recommend this company for their professionalism and expertise.

I posted a request through the Yelp APP on Saturday afternoon and had a free on-property estimate completed by Lane at Deadwood Forestry before dinner that night! He provided quotes for two different options to address the problem, pruning and balancing the tree, or full removal. I was leaning toward full removal, even though it would cost more. Lane actually provided sound counsel that ultimately convinced us to save the mature tree, allowing the tree a chance to heal, and ultimately costing us less money. I appreciated that his priority was always the health of the tree, along with addressing our concerns for safety for the surrounding properties. We had an estimate in writing by Sunday, and had our service scheduled by Monday. We did get a quote from another company that came back a little cheaper, but ultimately did not seem as organized and professional. The work was completed today. The Deadwood Forestry crew took their time, ensuring the job got done efficiently, but safely. They cleaned up every sign of their work, leaving us with a beautiful stack of firewood, and a lovely, mature tree with a new lease in life! When and if we have more work like this, we will absolutely be calling on them again.
