He listened to what I wanted, shared his expertise, gave me his recommendations, & provided a written bid. He & his crew of 7 arrived at 8:30am and didn't stop until they finished after 5pm. All the trees were 30+ years old, so they were quite tall. They removed & drilled my pine beetle infested Scotch pine; drilled another stump; removed & drilled stumps of 2 cherry trees (my bing towered over the garage); trimmed out four weeping mulberry (they're look like big bonsai trees now, so pretty); trimmed-out 3 pine trees & a catalpa. They removed an 85'x21' hedge of 30+ yr-old juniper than grew down toward the street. They cut my pine & cherry trees into wood stove-sized logs so I can season & split them. They left me a pile of chips to spread under my trees/bushes. When I say they worked hard all day, I'm not exaggerating. They came out to walk the property and view the work to be done. The next week I received an email work proposal and the cost estimate. Next, I had to accept the proposal and schedule a date for the work. Surprisingly, they had lots of availability within the following two weeks. The crew of insured professional arborists came out to work for a full 8 hour day. They arrived on time according to schedule. Walked the property with me once again and got to work. The crew of three brought out a wood chipper and hauling truck for removal of all the debris. I was able to make a couple of changes to my work order while they were on the job.
