When I reached out, Alberto responded the same day to communicate with me and schedule a time for a free estimate. He communicated before he came over for the estimate to confirm his arrival. I got an estimate to take a tree down and the estimator came out on time and was friendly. He gave a good price on taking down a tree in my front yard. I would have used his company if I could have gotten it down before my vacation in two weeks. I was even thinking about having it done 6 weeks later when I got back. But one other company came out and told me they could take it down this week, like in two days. It was the same price so I went with that company. But I would not hesitate to use this company again in the future because the price was good and they were prompt with the estimate although I never received the written estimate. I woke up one morning to find my Raywood Ash uprooted from a strong windstorm we had over the weekend. I frantically started calling tree service companies to get the tree removed ASAP, as I was trying to avoid any further damage to my outbuilding. A few weeks later he and an employee came out and did a phenomenal job thoroughly pruning that tree and even offered to trim some branches off another tree, which we agreed to. Alberto charged us what he originally quoted AND cleaned up the area which was full of pine needles that were already there. Alberto and crew did a fantastic job pruning a dozen trees in my yard. The ones requiring the most time were a false plum, fruited plum and cherry tree. The fruit trees had delivered THOUSANDS of fruit and I needed to have them pruned back so that next year's harvest would be lessened. The false plum tree suffered damage from the winter snows and required careful pruning to better shape it. My yard was left clean with all the branches and fruit removed. I called numerous tree services in the Sparks/Reno area to get quotes for the removal of two (2) mature ash trees and the trimming of a third (3rd) ash tree in our backyard. After getting approximately six (6) different quotes, George (estimator) came out to the house (the day I called for a quote) and gave me the "best" quote out of all the tree service companies. Other tree services that had "arborists" come out to my home were the most expensive and over double the price of Expert Tree Service (Alberto). I didn't need an arborist for the removal of two trees and the trimming of a 3rd, but I guess they have the on-line "certificate" and felt the need to charge more money ($$$) ... There were initially three (3) workers that arrived at our home and later that was increased to five (5) workers. They were out at our home most of the day carefully removing the branches and trunks from two trees and "crowning and trimming" the third tree. After the two trees were removed, Alberto brought a professional grade stump grinder into our backyard and ground-down the two stumps below the lawn surface. The workers cleaned up all the tree debris (branches, rounds, wood chips, etc.) and hauled it all away. We are very, very happy with their service and would hire them again! P.S... ATTENTION: Competing Arborists from other companies, you charge too much money for tree removal. If I had a "diseased" tree that I was trying to save and needed professional advice that may be a different story, but for a tree removal with on-line arborist certificate?... PLEASE... read more
