They had also forgot to put my skid plate back on and they accused me of already having a warranty job done due to poor organization. The other shop I went to said they messed a whole bunch of things up. I have been telling everyone I know not to come here and the general consensus is that these guys are incompetent scam artists. Don't let the positive reviews fool you. Most are from the old ownership.

First time and last time customer. I called beforehand and verified a price for a mobil1 full…read moresynthetic oil change and mobil1 oil filter. Was quoted $60.99 for this 5 quart full-synthetic oil change, and $5 extra for each quart over 5. My car takes 8 quarts. I comfirmed that was $75.99 for all services. When I came in and once again, verified with the oil technician, I wanted mobil1 full synthetic oil and mobil1 filter, he said ok and took in my car. Next, someone brought me my cabin and gas air filters to try to get me to replace those. I declined, as I already saw them try this with the lady sitting next to me. According to her, they try this every time. I did give them the ok to upgrade to the full service, as he said they would check all the fluids and it was only $10 more. Within a few minutes my car was done and my bill came to $116! Where did this extra $30 come from?! Turns out, I was told the Quaker State full-synthetic price on the phone, even though I discussed mobil1 at length on the phone and verified they had the parts. I paid the exorbitant price and left. When I got home, my husband checked under the car, as he doesn't trust these places to do what you ask, and low and behold, NO mobil1 filter! They had put on some "prime guard" cheap replacement! On further research, these are made by Fram, which are garbage filters. I then called them to complain and they claimed they told me they only carry mobil1 oil and not the filters. This was NEVER communicated on the phone or in person when I turned over my car. No one ever tried to make the misquote or oil filter miscommunication right, just told me I was was wrong and I had to pay the extra for subpar parts and service. I will never be back and will definitely spread the word.

I took it back to McKell to get a few things done that fit within my schedule. I was scheduled at 12:00pm on a Wednesday to do some repairs. I dropped it off and waited until around 3:30 with no update. Went back to McKell to get an update and they havent even started working on it. I did not drop it off at 3:30 lol that's funny, owner. I was told the truck wasn't going to be worked on at all by the end of the day. Why schedule an appointment for me if you're not even going to work on it and waste my time. Owner tried to twist the story of my google review. McKell is not trustworthy.
