I needed to get a battery replaced in my laptop. I called to ask prices and turnaround time and was told I would have to check it in and they would charge me $95 to tell me I need to get my battery changed. I know I want the battery changed so why charge me $95 just to tell me that? Yes, we live on a island and we're limited as to where we can go to get things replaced or serviced so we expect to pay a little more but it's disgusting that you would charge for an unnecessary service. read more

I took my Iphone into these guys because I was locked out due to a software/keypad issue. I was helped promptly by Riley who was super nice. He spoke to the repair person and he said he would.be able to fix it, but I had to leave it overnight. The next day they called our other phone, as promised, to say it was fixed and ready. No data was lost and the phone works like it is supposed to. They also verified the repair was covered by Apple. If you have an Issue with your Apple product on Maui, these guys are great! read more

Maybe you should keep the rude stupid guy from behind the sales counter. I called in the morning and asked if they had lightning to sd cards in stock. I was told yes. I come in the afternoon and ask for them. The guy behind the counter says no we don't have any without even looking. I explain that I called, he then looks, about a dozen of them on 2 pegs right behind him. I want 2, so I have 64$ sale sitting on the counter. I ask if I can get a closer look at the other accessories as I can't read the labels. Well, I can't go behind the counter. He offers to bring forward anyone I want. Well , I can't read the labels. Recently went in to this store because my MacBook Air would not turn on. I received immediate and friendly service. This made me very happy because I am a senior and sometimes am ignored in stores selling computers or cell phones. I left my computer there on one working day and received it back on the next working day. It needed a new logic board, which was covered by my warranty. Again, the staff in this store are very very friendly and very very helpful, and service was very very fast. My fully charged phone powered off 3 days ago. After taking it to my cell provider, T-Mobile at the Kahului mall and receiving what I can only describe as heinous customer service, I took my phone to Mac Made Easy in Kahului today. Not only did the gentlemen there give me the most pleasant and helpful customer service, they also saved me from buying a brand new phone. They took an additional step, an extra 3 or 4 minutes, to check one thing that fixed my phone. Professionally I am personally in hospitality and appreciate so much the level of compassion I received today, which is what "customer service" really is. Thank you gentlemen! Terrible experience at Mac Made Easy, Kihei with Mike. A simple purchase, old IPAD 128 out of storage, wanted to buy the new IPAD PRO 512. Knew exactly what I wanted. Was assured they would help me with. The transfer of data from one to the other. Not given correct instructions, three days of technical misinformation and stress. After 10 minutes at the counter, I was informed there would start being a charge for helping me! Wrote to Betty at headquarters and NEVER even heard back from them. APPLE on line was eventually great and helped me FREE. Why buy local? Very disappointing. read more

Chase responded to my emails and provided answers to my questions and even informed me that they could possibly repair my phone with a turn around time of the same day (this is not the case with walk ins...for that kine turn around you need to have an appointment). FRAUD! this store has one computer on display and I purchased it, only to learn (purely by accident) that they gave me a model that was 3 years older then the one they showed me. no big deal except that its thicker and heavier than the one I thought I was buying. they told me they fired the guy who sold it and would correct the mistake if I paid a 20% restocking fee. They misquoted me by 200$ for a phone repair and then still charged me the check in fee. I ended up paying 45$ and not getting my phone fixed. They apologized for 'reading the chart wrong'. Maui Cell Phone Repair is cheaper and has much better service. read more

Made an appointment through Apple to have my iPhone battery replaced on Monday 2/19 at 1:20 pm. Surprised to see the service on Maui as I thought it would have to be sent in or done in Honolulu. So I show up 30 min prior to my appointment just to check things out. Greeted nicely when I arrived in a somewhat crowded store. When I told her I was early for an appointment she said "oh you should consider calling first as sometimes we do not have the parts in stock" I totally understand and so when she positively states oh you are in luck we have your battery in stock. She also explains that the battery replacement service will likely not be finished until end of day. Surprised as all the research I have done stated the replacement takes about 20 min - 40 min max. I guess after my surprised look she stated she would check with the technician. Where I can over hear him state that the repair is not going to happen today. Completely surpised they ask if I can come back tomorrow! WTF over? I made an appointment last week and you did not have the common courtesy to call me in the morning to tell me you could not do it? I drove all the way there to find this out! Complete and utter failure in customer service! DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I brought my iPhone 6s Plus in to have the battery checked and the service was excellent, and free. I didn't need a battery but I got all sorts of tips on how to conserve my battery's charge longer and just tips in general. I highly recommend these folks. read more

My older mac book informed me that it was "infected" by a virus. I took it to this establishment who charged me 75 bucks for a "diagnostic," and was told that the fix would take five to seven business days and that, further, they would have to download everything for another hundred. When I returned in a week, nothing had been done. They said they needed software that they did not have. In frustration I took the computer to the cell phone repair store by Akaku. The young man there analyzed the problem in two minutes and fixed in a half hour for 35 dollars. When I returned to the mac store to demand an explanation, they were mute and did not offer even a partial refund. I might add that they had earlier offered to sell me a new computer as a remedy. My old mac is now running great. Do not go here for a repair. read more

The staff at this store is AMAZINGLY helpful! I had a few questions about my devices, and they helped solve my problems, and gave me some great suggestions on how to trade in/upgrade when needed -- without the sales pitch. AND...they are affiliated with Verizon, so they can help with upgrades of your phone and trade-ins of old devices with feeling like you are robbed like the Verizon store (ask about the iPhone applecare coverage...way better than the Verizon insurance). They have my business for all computer/phone related services moving forward. Small and personable, but you know they know what they are doing. DO NOT GO here unless you are a local! I needed a simple Mac cable. There was one worker in the store and one other customer. I asked if I could buy the cable and he said it would be 20-30 minutes!!! All he had to do was reach up on his shelf and ring me up! But he said he was helping the other customer instead ... for 20 - 30 minutes more!!! I could have been done in literally 30 seconds!!! Went to Mac made easy for an issue with my daughters phone. Micheal helped us, he was super professional and patient with us. He was also very knowledgeable of the products he sold. We took a while because we were having issues with our iCloud but he didn't rush us. I'm the meantime he was busy with other customers and with each one he remained professional, calm and super welcoming. At no time did he short cut anything to hurry the process.
