They said Mac might have different tools available to help and they don't try over sell you. When I showed up there were about three others in line. He seemed friendly and efficient. While he helped another customer with his computer he helped me as well. Told him the problem with my phone and he gave me a few suggestions. We ended up having to troubleshoot it. He gave me an estimated time 10-15 minutes so I came back. When I came back he helped me restart the phone and went over everything. My iMac desktop wouldn't boot up on a busy, difficult week. Brought it down to Mac Made Easy at 358 Papa Place in Kahului. A few days later they texted me that it was ready. It's working fine, the glitched os was taken care of, and easy fine customer service. Repair was much less than I expected. They are very patient, and to my knowledge the only people who are authorized to help you with Apple products. That includes warranty and Apple care, system diagnostics etc. We walked in to the small store and this lady was chatting away about how her kindle is just as good as an iPad, ended up not buying anything and still continued to talk to our guy about something unrelated to Apple. What a relief not to have to drive to Kahului. I never knew about this place until recently. First experience wonderful service and great attitude. I brought my laptop in here and they ran it through all kinds of inspections, diagnosed it and found problems I didn't even realize I had! They checked with Apple and it was still under warranty. I signed sealed -- and they had it repaired and back in no time -- running as smooth as new. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff (unless they get busy.. then you may not get the smiles of appreciation you experienced on other less stress-slammed days and if it's really busy, you may even feel guilty for taking up their time! Horrible service. I needed a new battery for my i-phone and was told I would have to leave my phone for 5-7 days since there was a queue and the battery had to be ordered. Well, how do you like being without your phone for a week? Someone who actually cared about their customers would have asked for a deposit, ordered the battery and scheduled me in when there was an opening after the battery arrived without having to leave my phone. I wish I was a computer nerd because I really adore the guys who work here, and if I was, I'd spend uka plenty bucks on all the latest and greatest accoutrements, and upgrades. The reason(s) for my visit(s), thus far, had to do with problem shooting both my archaic I-5 phone, as well as my 2012 Mac-book pro. Turns out I had cockroach inside my da kine fan (ugh.) Easy-peasy drop offs, straight forward fees, efficient, and friendly customer service. Huge props and mahalo's to Joel, whose professionalism is not tainted by any pretense, or schwarmy sales technique that I have become accustomed to at places like these (think Verizon, for example.) Also to Mike, who helped me out with a tricky crossword answer while I was waiting for my re-boot (what is the genre of music of Grease? Do-wop!) The tech guy was cool too... Forget his name. My friend and I came here to get her iPhone fixed because it had stopped charging for no reason. The service was great and friendly, and we were in and out in a short amount of time. I wish I could put zero stars. They have THE worst customer service if your not Asian or White. They make you feel stupid and treat you like crap if you don't have the answers to their questions. But they'll help you and have patience with you if your not brown skinned. They move like turtles, and have bad attitudes. I've been in customer service for over 10 years and this is the worst I've seen or any business. They'll never get our business again and are a poor representative of Apple. I show up two minutes before closing and they can't sell me what is staring at me behind the counter. It was simply an HDMI adapter for my iPad. I told them it's not 2 pm yet, they say yes it is, I show them my iPhone which says 2:58 pm by now. The black woman says its wrong. Right, the time on my iPhone is wrong (see the picture of the time on my phone)!!!The owners should really consider not being open on Sat if they are in such a rush to leave. I was sent to this Authorized Service Provider by Apple Support so that they could assess the situation with my 2015 MacBook Pro. There was a "stain" issue with the Retina display that made the screen look dirty/damaged. The staff was very friendly and quickly examined my computer. They ordered the replacement screen from Apple and I returned two business days later for the repair. I dropped the laptop off Tuesday morning and it was ready Tuesday afternoon, as promised. It looks like a brand new computer! I was very impressed with the professionalism, knowledge, and customer service of this outfit. It's good to know there's a local place you can turn to if you're having any issues with Apple products. I went to the other Mac Repair location and Kahului, who did NOT run diagnostics and really all they did was tell me to go home and "turn off filevault" and come back. I happened upon this Kihei location because my friend told me it exists. Thankfully, it is located very close to my Maui home (I know live in Cincinnati). The staff was extremely friendly; I was pleasantly surprised. Much friendlier than their Kahului counterparts. And unlike the Mac store in kahului, this location ran an actual diagnostic. Thankfully, they surmised that my hard drive might be failing, which they say is a common problem for older Macs that do NOT have an SSD type hard drive. And since I didn't actually check my computer in, they didn't charge me anything. I felt insanely bad not paying. That said, I cannot attest to their service with actual check-ins. In a nutshell, this mac repair location is very no BS, which is super up my alley. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Unfortunately, after two days they had yet to repair my phone and instead told me they had shipped the phone off to Apple. Aside from me having the ability to do the same thing days earlier, they never did send the phone to Apple but instead had my phone sitting on the shelf. I went by to get some help with a Ipad and how to use a storage disk for keeping my photographs safe and not taking a chance of loosing important work . I was greeted by two gentleman who welcomed me into a very clear and attractive store. When I explained what I needed and if they could help I was told sure and right away the first gentleman went about showing how to do the task I was looking for instruction on. Not only did he help show me what to do but also set the software so it would work with the external hard drive . I felt very well taken care of and will return to purchase a new ipad for my wife for a upcoming gift. I highly recomend this company for any needs related appla products. Made an appointment last week for my phone through Apple support, and brought it in yesterday for what I thought was a charging port issue, face id error and cracked screen. Turns out to be a dirty port, and just screen replacement. I bought a temporary phone (due to work stuff) expecting it to take several days. Update ******** Several calls later, a visit to the postal service and a commitment in writing to return the items will be reimbursed made this right. I was reimbursed fully even after I expected to take a loss on the case I purchased for the phone. It took persistence, but I am only out time and the cost to ship the item. A rated this 3 stars because they made it right, but I am a bit gun shy. -------------------- I made a purchase and was told there was a warranty on the phone. The serial number on the receipt is not the phone I was given - different serial number with no warranty. I went into Apple directly after I returned from vacation. I reached out to the store and was told 'I need to talk to a manager but she is out". I did not receive a call back the following day so I contacted the store again. The "manager" told me there was nothing she could do and needed to go because she had customers in the store. Do not use this store - even if Apple refers you (they referred me here too) You will not receive what they gave you an invoice for (in writing) and when you leave the island, you're out of luck. I will be filing a complaint with Apple directly and I hope they find a reputable company to partner with. Do not do business with this store. read more

This place is new and so far I've had nothing but a good experience with these guys. For example, I called them yesterday asking for help with my Mac Book Pro because it wasn't shutting down, Shelby told me to come in the following day which I did. She spent about 45 minutes in total and finally fixed the problem, I was so happy and I really wanted to pay but she refused to take a single penny from me.. I left the place thinking how rare it is nowadays for someone to do such a nice thing for a customer! I and my wife have had iPhones, iPads, and Macs since they came out and have always had experiences that made the thousands of $$ we have spent worth it. My step-daughters phone completely died on this trip. Found out there about this store from a worker at ATT. It was the very last piece of information she gave us after realizing she wasn't gonna get a sale out of us. Lol. That's a whole other story. Made a stop on our way home with not much time but I couldn't see my step-daughter with out her phone another day (her videos are taking up my phone space lol) The ladies in there were amazing! Super kind and helpful - My experience has been that these guys really care and are doing their best to support customer's experience with Apple products. I bought a MacBook here that's been acting up, and Kahana in particular has been patient and generous with his time, trying to help me troubleshoot even when that meant suggesting that I buy a backup drive more cheaply somewhere else. Today we tried wiping the hard drive and reinstalling the OS, and he waived the service fee entirely because he wasn't sure it would solve the problem.
