Very responsive. Problem solver par excellent. Will call Mac DDdy first for any of my problems with my Mac or phone.

These Guys at MacDaddy, Bohdi and Scott are great! Always thorough, efficient, communicative and good people to deal with. The work is done right the first time, and it's priced fairly. I wouldn't go anywhere else ever again since now that I found them. MacDaddy is the very best! read more

Great service! Easier than an Apple store, with no waiting in a line or confusing on line appointment procedure. Plus Mac Daddy is local. I had a smashed screen on my iPhone. Made an appointment to drop it off and pick it up later. Easy peasy. Thank you Mac Daddy! (repair cost was cheaper than the Apple store quote). read more

I have a Mac Book Pro circa 2009. I thought the end was the end when I brought it to Mac Daddy after it didn't work at all. They dusted it out, gave it a dearly needed battery, and I'm back in business! I was so thrilled it could be revived and I didn't have to spend time shopping, spending unnecessary $ on a new one. It took a little over a week to have it serviced. I understand that - COVID is affecting us all, so demand on keeping our home computers working is in demand. I loved their help and how little it cost me to get my old goodie back into speedy working condition. I highly recommend Mac Daddy. Thanks, Bodhi and staff! read more

Great job fixing my MacBook like 6 months ago or so. He helped me out, as my MacBook had been sitting a few years, the keyboard didn't work. He went above and beyond the job so I could take my laptop overseas. Thanks! read more

Mac Daddy Repairs is a great local business. They listen to the needs of you as an individual as well as giving professional excellence to your computers and devices as needed. They never try to upsell or offer things you don't need. Yet they will give advice and explain options clearly before doing any work so you always know what to expect and also know how you can expand if that's what you're looking to do. read more

My iPhone screen was severely damaged due to dropping it frequently. I have to carry my device with me at all times due to having apps on my phone for a continuous glucose monitor and an insulin pump. I called MacDaddy and Bodhi let me know I could come in the next day and he instructed me to bring an old iPhone so I can have the medical devices active. I also needed a new battery. When I dropped the phone off to get fixed, the tech set up the old iPhone to ensure the medical devices would work and I could also get calls and texts as well. That was a huge relief for me. The phone was ready in a few hours and the new screen was beautiful and he also put a screen protector on it for no charge. The battery works great and charges much faster now. We have gone to MacDaddy for iPhone repairs and we will continue to go in the future. They are very friendly, very upfront about issues and charges, and there are no surprises when the device is ready. They are also conveniently located in Sebastopol and I would recommend them highly. read more

I have been here twice for help with my MacBook Pro, and got a laptopbasic "spring cleaning" add on (no viruses, just a cleanup) for $80 the last time, but was really disappointed when I went in there recently to see if my laptop keyboard was on the blink. Bodhi could have let me test it out on one of his computer keyboards first, so I didn't have to buy a brand new one from him, but he refused when I asked. I also asked if I could get a partial refund about a week later, since the keyboard wasn't the problem, but no refunds for 'open boxes'. That's NOT why I'm giving the store a 2 star-rating, though. I'm appalled at how he treated a friend of mine about a month ago, an elder who is a writer in our Sebastopol community who simply needed his documents in one file, and a laptop cleaning. His operating system is Microsoft 8.1, which is aging out and not eligible for ANY updates after Jan. 10, 2023. All Bodhi had to do was tell him this, but no, he took $160 from my friend just to do his little 'clean-up'. My friend's laptop is a DELL Latitude E-6500, a dinosaur from 2012 that sells for $30 on Ebay, but he's on a fixed income and that's all he can afford. Bodhi completely ripped him off! He failed to inform my friend that it would be better for him to just buy another laptop, instead of wasting his money on a 'clean-up' for $160, when there was nothing, and I mean NOTHING truly wrong with his computer ! Yeah, he 'cleaned it up' all right! read more

Who you gonna call? Well when you have a hard drive fail that has a good majority of your family pics you start doing some research to find who can help you. My research starts with my friends and family. Maybe they have experienced something like this as well. No one I spoke to has had a hard drive fail but a few shared some computer issues they had had and recommended that I take my hard drive to Mac Daddy Repairs. They shared their positive customer experience and the friendly trustworthy interaction with a guy named Bodhi. They were happy with the repairs that were made to their equipment and felt strongly that Mac Daddy could help. I decided to do a quick check online and many of the same comments and recommendations were posted online. I made my choice and was happy I did so. Dropped off my hard drive, and was contacted quickly by Bodhi. He was clear on what was going to take place and got back to me quickly with the diagnosis. Unfortunately the status of my hard drive was not good. It was beyond repair. The customer service could have ended there. Mac Daddy did what they set out to do but.... Bodhi gave me some options and recommendations and was clear on what to expect. He pointed me in the direction of some data recovery specialists who specialize in recovering data from sources that have been severely damaged. He also warned me about the cost of such an endeavor. In the end I choose to not have the data recovered. Why would I not try and recover these important memories? Yes I had over 50,000 pictures on that hard drive that failed. Fortunately I had all the pictures stored on the cloud. Unfortunately they were stored, in chunks, in various companies cloud drives; Apple, Amazon, Shutterfly and EyeFi. In the end I was able to get all of my pictures back and now have them stored (all together) using various backups. Even though Mac Daddy did not repair my hard drive they will be the first one's I bring my Apple Computers to when I experience a problem. Their professionalism and honesty make them someone to do business with. Who you gonna call? Mac Daddy Repairs.... read more

I had a major problem with my four year old MacBook Pro while on a work deadline when I found that it was not taking any charge at all and had died. I called and spoke with Bodhi who was very helpful and patient on the phone - and somehow managed to calm me down. I brought it right in, although I wasn't hopeful. He took a look at it and promised that the tech would see what's what the next morning when he came in. By the next afternoon they had cleaned it up completely and somehow managed to get it charging again so that we could transfer everything. Whew! Disaster averted. I thought for the amount of rush work that they did that the cost of the repair was very fair. I am so happy to have such a great resource in my town. They also took a couple of desktops, cleared all the data off of them and are now donating them so they will get used, which is a nice service as well. Thanks MacDaddy! read more

I couldn't get some keys back on after cleaning the laptop, also some were still sticking. I took it to MacDaddy on a Monday. Got it back on Friday. Keys still sticking. Going to try else Actually, MacDaddy is not quite correct. The tech had problems logging into my computer, because the password includes one of the sticky letters. He had to try twice, then it worked. He said it was fine. read more

Very friendly and accessible. He is rustworthy and the cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend Mac Daddy!

When my iPhone battery needed replacement, I looked for local recommendations on NextDoor to support local businesses. MacDaddy was a community favorite. They were able to get me in quickly, and they repaired my phone at a reasonable price. I'll return any time I have a problem in the future. read more

I called MacDaddy for a problem with my iMac about a year ago. They were professional on the phone and set up a home visit within a week. When Bodhi came to my house I had a list of problems. We started going through them one by one and finished within the hour we had set up. Well worth the initial service fee! Since then I've had a couple follow up calls to make sure I didn't have anymore problems. read more

My iphone SE needed a new battery so I called the Apple Store. There I found out that their stores are closed but I could send my phone via UPS for them to replace the battery. The phone would have been gone for over a week and it is the only phone I have. As a 74 year old senior, this did not feel like a good idea. Mac Daddy had fixed my daughter's computer and I had no idea that they worked on phones but decided to check it out. I was happy to hear that they did! The shop is close to my home and I dropped my phone off at noon and it was ready by 4:00. The phone is working just great now and I am so happy and grateful for the excellent and speedy service! read more

MacDaddy does a great job with supporting older machines. I've used them last year (2022) to replace the battery in my 2015 Mac laptop and I've had friends who are, uh, less tech savvy, have MacDaddy do a spring cleaning on their computers, Macs and Windows machines, that are old but still very serviceable. Recommended. read more

Had an issue with one of the MAC programs (PAGES) and was having trouble formatting the pages for a legal document that I was preparing. I made an appointment to meet with Bodhi and found that the solution(s) were quickly provided. It is so convenient to have someone local here in Sebastopol with whom one can communicate about these pesky computer problems...and, I found out that even the MAC has computer 'bugs' and he loaded a program on my MAC (Free) which takes this protection to a much deeper level...I think it's important to support our local businesses and its certainly more convenient than having to drive to Santa Rosa and the Mac Store... read more

Bad experience with this place. The owner never returns calls They sold me a refurbished Mac that he said had a new operating system. It has been complete trash and a total headache. The other guys who work there are nice, but overall I would never return to this place. read more

Professional, fast, friendly, knowledgable with text & email updates to keep you in the loop while repairs are underway. Same day service on a Friday. I love this place. And would you believe the Mac Daddy himself changed my flat tire while I was there??? I was having a bad day, no phone to call for help... he just changed the tire sending me & computer on the way. BTW, that happened after closing, on his personal time, Friday evening. There are over 7 billion people on the planet and if we all act like these folks we can steer space ship earth to calmer kinder waters. It was worth the drive time from Petaluma to Sebastopol for all this. read more

Great customer service, was able to replace my iphone SE battery same day with excellent results.

We used Mac Daddy to upgrade an old and outdated computer instead of getting a new one. We had a great experience; their quotes were transparent and the work was completed quickly! Highly recommended! read more

Highly recommend this heartfelt, caring and helpful team of techies! My MacBook Air got drenched in water after a heavy rain and after letting it dry out in rice for a week, I had little assurance that it would ever turn on again. I also brought it in right before their Christmas break and I was leaving to travel long-term before they would re-open, so the timing was very crunched to get it done in under 24 hours. Regardless of all this, they were able to bring my laptop back to life with minor repair costs and return it to me in time for my trip! They also gave suggestions for how I could fix other non-urgent parts if I chose to do so in the future. My only suggestion is to have better communication with customers because I had to call twice to ask for an update and got no return call as promised, so I showed up at the store without any update -- but was pleasantly surprised and my faith redeemed when the computer was fixed and ready! Thank you so much! read more

I recently took my husband's phone here as it was having trouble charging. While running diagnostics, they recommended a new battery (which was great as the phone was due for one). They returned the fixed phone in less than 24 hours. Friendly and good customer service. read more

We have been relying on Mac Daddy repairs for all of our Tech device needs for a number of years. They have been extremely helpful, reliable, and reasonably priced for all support that they offer. I highly recommend MacDaddy for anything tech. They are the best! read more

This business has exceeded all expectations....and then some! Each of the four people I dealt with were extremely professional, competent and friendly. They took an injured 2012 Macbook Pro and not only brought her back to life after her hard drive was damaged, but gave her new and better bionic parts :) They got me in WAY faster than the SR mac store and for a fraction of the price. I cannot recommend Mac Daddy high enough. It was a pleasure the whole way through, and that hopefully speaks volumes because you know that almost nothing is a pleasure when your computer stops working!! Thanks Mac Daddy, you guys are the best. read more

I took my iPad in for a port change and they were able to fix it in a couple of weeks. I did have one issue after it was fixed but they were able to repair that as well for free! I really appreciated that. They are very nice and did a great job in the end. read more

These guys did a perfect job with a fast turn around at a fair price. I had cracked my iPhone 7 screen and the charger port was malfunctioning. Bodhi fixed both (port just needed cleaning, not a replacement) and even though he was busy and shorthanded he knocked it out for me same day. I could tell he was also skilled at working on macs as well. Highly recommend this place for your computer/phone repair needs in West County! read more

I've gone to these folks several times and each time they perform the miraculous. My iPhone fell into the ocean: has worked fine since their repair of it. My old MacBook Air has tons of quirks, and they always figure out a work-around so that I don't have to give up on it. In our "discard-it-get-a-new-one" modern world, it is so wonderful to have folks so skilled at making the old stuff last as long as possible. I will sing their praises forever. Plus they're all really nice. Such a great resource for us in the north bay! read more
