I am very disappointed with the MacBook repair service I received. The technician kept my 2024 Macbook pro 14 for more than three weeks but still failed to identify the motherboard issue. I understand that he may have spent a lot of effort on it, but the result was extremely unsatisfactory. When I took my MacBook to a more professional repair shop, their on-site inspection- completed in just five minutes- revealed that part (near the center) of the motherboard had actually been burned through(a very rare case). They also found mismatched and stripped and even missing screws, even though I have never opened the device myself! This techician was the first one opened it. Even worse, the display cable area had been bent during the previous repair attempt, causing new screen problems that did not exist before. This issue was never mentioned or disclosed to me by the original technician!!! My MacBook originally only had a motherboard problem, but now both the motherboard and the screen (even worse) have been further damaged due to their mishandling. The last thing I want to sayand agree with this technician: buy Applecare no matter what! read more

I was struggling to find a repair shop that can repair my MacBook in the same day. Apple stores, and authorized Apple places said it can take 3-4 business days to find the problem, and even longer to ship the piece out and then longer to fix it. I stumbled over this place on google, and within minutes he literally was able to accommodate my difficult schedule. I walked in at 5:45, and I kid you not, I walked out at 6:00 with a MacBook I'm confident was better fixed than any apple or authorized stores. They quoted me twice as much as he did. He fixed it in front of my eyes, actually showed me what the issue is, and told me this shouldn't take more than 10 min. AND he tested everything before I left!!! This will be the only place I trust any of my devices with, and recommend everyone. Juan, thank you for taking a load of stress off me and getting me taken care of. First of all, we want to apologize for taking so long to write this review-moving and finals are a hassle. I had dropped my laptop before my exam. I found Juan on yelp. I went to the address immediately unaware that i had to schedule an appointment. Upon arrival I called only to realize he was with another client. He made it a point to rush over to me as soon as he could and immediately took a look at my mac. He fixed what an apple technician could not over the phone for over an hour, within 10 minutes. Everything was back to normal and he told us about possible future issues and how to prevent them. He did not charge us for his services as it was such a quick fix for him. He is very kind, knowledgeable and professional. I will be returning to him every time before I step foot in an apple store who probably would have upcharged me hundreds of dollars and kept it for God knows how long. He literally saved my grade.
