I was looking for a hairdresser in the area and after reading others' reviews, decided to give M3 a try. I had an appointment with Amy, and she was fantastic! I was donating my curly hair, and Amy was very experienced and knew exactly what to do. She gave me a cut that I absolutely love, even cutting it a little longer than I had told her saying that it would look shorter even at this length. I'm so glad she did because she was right! I had also brought my teenage sister in for her own cut and style, and when she showed Amy the picture of what she wanted, Amy carefully told her how to achieve the same look without cutting it quite so short (which would require a lot more maintenance). My sister was thrilled with the results and the versatility Amy's expertise had given her with her style. I will definitely be going back! read more

If only I could give it zero stars! Please please imagine this one star is actually a negative one star. I'll start off by saying I have very curly hair and have had problems getting a good haircut for quite some time. It has come to the point that I'm scissor shy and her nervous to cut my hair --- which grows very very slowly. With that being said, I told the stylist (who told me she has been cutting hair for 30 years) to not cut any length off, that I simply wanted some layers in the back. Firstly, she brushes out my hair until it's frizzy and is getting ready to cut it dry! I asked does she always cut it dry and I would prefer it not be dry... So she spritzed it a very little, combed it again, and was ready to cut. Against my better judgement on how things were starting out, I let her proceed. :( She asked if I wanted to taper my bangs (which were longer than my chin)... She said "I cut to where your lips are". I said "no, lower, don't make them short". Next thing happened so fast.... My bangs go to my nose and with my super curly hair, they are up at forehead height. I could cry. She probably thought I was psycho due to all of my protesting and saying "stop stop stop!! You cut it too short!", but she continues on the sides. I should have packed it up and left when she messed up my bangs. That's my fault beyond the bangs. Needless to say, I am NOT happy!!!!!!! Fool me once, shame on you - Fool me twice, shame on me. I've been to this salon twice and will never return. The staff are not very friendly. Perhaps it's shyness or the language barrier, but when dealing with a variety of customers with varied needs & requests, one should make an attempt to understand what the customer truly desires. The stylist was tardy and didn't apologize for it, but had she done a decent job on my hair and not rushed to tend to her next appointment, then I wouldn't have been as bothered by this experience. I know it sounds crazy..., but I' m very protective and particular about my hair so trying to find someone and some place that I trust is substantially more difficult for me. I originally tried M3 Salon out strictly for convenience as it's close to my employment but much to my overwhelming surprise I was met with exceptional customer service, friendly smiles and a comfortable environment. My stylist, AMY, is amazing !!! I received a highlights and a cut with style and the end result far exceeded my expectations. She listened to what I wanted, she was experience stylist and made me feel very comfortable! I definitely recommend my stylist AMY and M3 Salon to anyone that wants to look amazing! read more

I recently moved to Keller and hunted around forever for a great salon to go to. This salon had great reviews so I decided to give it a shot. I set an appointment with Cassie to receive a blonde balayage on my brown hair. It turned out great and I really liked it! Then after a week or two went by, I noticed the blonde quickly fading back to brown. Now, a month later, my hair is hardly blonde at all. I actually had a coworker ask me if I dyed my hair brown because it is no longer blonde. I carefully followed all of Cassie's recommendations for my color treated hair and it still faded in a months time. Frantic, I tried texting Cassie who was nice enough to give me her number and asked if I could come in to have it touched up for a discount since I paid $135 to be blonde for a month. I still haven't heard anything back so I'm assuming that's a no. Best bet is to find a different salon and save your money unless you want your dye to wash out in a month and have your only option to be to pay full price to redo it for what? It to wash out a month later? No thanks. I will never go to this salon again. read more

I love this salon, i live out of state and i refuse to have anyone else cut my hair. The salon is so clean and fancy, refreshments as you get your cut. Last month i came in and had someone new give me balayage highlights and it came out exactly how i wanted and the haircut was on point. read more

Phong Starr is now located at this beautiful salon. She has done my hair for over 8 years. I was very sad to hear she was leaving Starr Salon. However I am very happy to say she is now located at M3 Salon and I went to have my hair done there and she is as awesome as always!! First time coming to this salon. I've been curious about this place ever since it first opened. It's my luck when I book with a place and the hairstylist works with you and you end up not getting the best results you thought. I've been wanting to stick with a hairstylist, but it never worked out. Until I considered this salon and based on the reviews it seemed people gave the staff and professional service good ratings so I called to make a consult about hair coloring. I have a wedding coming up in a couple of weeks and wanted natural highlights to my dark brown/black hair. I was scheduled to consult with Cassie. She informed me of certain levels I would need to go to meet the color I would like best. Plus I was shopping around on prices. She was very understanding about it. The price she gave me was not bad and so a week later I booked with her. Before we began, I told her I had colored my hair more than 6 months ago which was a minor detail I forgot to tell her before. But she worked with it and suggested since my ends were not so virgin to apply the color and see if it needed bleach after the first application. Throughout the process I ended up wanting bleach just to give my highlights variety and contrast. She was very informative of what products I should use to hydrate my colored hair. After the process I had a quick trim and texture. I am very happy and pleased by the results. If anything I suggest to consult with Cassie in case you need more info with what look you're going for regardless of color or hairstyle! Thanks Cassie!! read more

I had my hair butchered by another stylist somewhere else.... so the first person i saw with AMAZING hair, i had to ask them where they had it done....the person directed me to see linda at M3 and i couldnt be more thankful!! Linda is truely a color expert that fixed my botched job without hesitation! By the way she works and talks, you can tell that you are talking to someone truely experienced and passionate about their job ( which is hard to find)! I found myself totally trusting her after she explained to me in detail what she was going to do. She listened as i had explained about my awful color and cut and did exactly what i wanted except 200 times better! This is also after the fact that i didnt think it could even be fixed.... The cut and color are awesome and my hair is in much better condition after she worked her magic! The other staff there was very friendly as well. Everyone was really sweet and open to conversation... Im so in love with my highlites, color, and cut! Thank you, linda! I am returning soon to have the brazilian blowout! Cant wait! read more
