All the ladies here are amazing. My hair looks amazing/healthy every time I go to the salon even months after. Other salons always want to thin my hair and I don't know why. Thank yall for making me look refreshed every time !!! read more

I have been here twice now because my regular hair specialist & my schedule didn't go together. The 1st time I went more blonde with a trim. This last time I had low lights put in & cut quite a bit off. Katie did my low lights & cut & I felt amazing after I left. It was also my birthday so even better. They got me in quickly not a 3-4 week wait. It was very clean & managed very well. Love the smell of their products. read more

Great hair salon! Come early to find street parking. Came in for a lob and needed to do my annual LOL donation. Ashley was so good, very attentive to my needs. The hair shampoo and conditioner smells so good, I love minty fresh Colgate. Im blind without my glasses so didn't know what my hair looked like until after it was done. She styled my hair with blowdryer and brush and then straighten it afterwards. It was beautiful, good length, love the layers in my hair! Great for children ages 8 and up. I highly recommend KTS studios. They offer free beverages while you get hair cut, I got water. Good for the body. read more

Christina saved the day by getting me in for a last minute walk-in full foil and cut. In addition to being so accommodating, she did a great job on my hair - even altering one part I changed my mind on (requiring that she also wash and dry my hair over again). Throughout the whole appointment she was kind, personable, and never appeared rushed, even though I was an unexpected addition to her schedule. Thank you Christina! Definitely recommend. read more

I'm sharing to possibly help others....after 8 months of growing out my shoulder length wavy hair I ask Kaya for just a trim & shorten my long bangs a bit. We discussed how I wear my hair blown out sometimes & also let it be curly. After starting to cut my hair she recommended texturizing it. Unfortunately, I wasn't clear what that meant but agreed since she suggested it. Big mistake!!!! After I got home I couldn't figure out why my hair was so frizzy!! I looked up texturizing-NOT recommended for wavy hair since it breaks up curl patterns to create FRIZZ. I liked Kaya very much but will not go back. She should have known this was not for my hair type. Now I know!! read more

Great job. Did exactly what I wanted with my haircut. I will be back. Very clean and nice.

I love this salon. I see Kaja. I am 60 years old, and she is the best colorist and hair stylist I have seen. She has done a great job helping me to get my hair healthy again. She listens well, takes her time, and is meticulous. All of the people are very nice. The front staff is always great ! CZ read more

I found my hair-whisperer! James is a color wizard. My hair looks fantastic. The way he was able to cover my greys and blend in some subtle highlights is just perfection. I haven't been this giddy over my hair in years. The color was just the beginning. The cut is lovely, and is so easy to style. When I can make it look like I walked out of the salon...well that is just plain magical because I have zero talent or patience with my hair. The salon itself is extremely friendly and easy to work with. When I made the appointment they listened to what I wanted and referred me to James as the best fit. They were so right. read more

I was looking for a local salon. First off... talk about feeling terrible about yourself. Every encounter made me feel like I problem. I have thick hair and every stylist that worked on me (which happened often as I kept getting passed along), they would make a sarcastic comment about my hair. Second thing, when I came in I told the stylist I wanted curtain bangs. If you don't know, curtain bangs are long bangs that usually lay by your jaw and parted in the middle. Instead, the stylist gave me blunt cut, short bangs above my eyebrows. Does this look like curtain bangs?? No. Very disappointing and will not be returning. read more

Once upon a time, I needed my usual 10 wk hair cut and dye job. So I went to my most favorite salon in all of the land. My stylist is the Susan, she is a hair doctor of sorts. She does killer awesome color and uses great smelling styling stuff that you can also buy. Although you and I both know, I can't create the greatness of salon hair at home. Wouldn't it be great to have a hair stylist on call or living with you. You know like Oprah? Kevin is the owner and is a snappy dresser. I mean he always has jeans better than mine. ATMOSPHERE: It's very chic in here. There are plenty of current magazines and hair ideas. The tend to you like you are important, because you know you are. They often switch stations, so I also like that. My hairdresser is never in the same place when I arrive. I kinda like that. They also have excellent tunes and new tv's with videos. PERKS: They have wine, and good conversation. Did I mention the wine? When you get your hair washed, they put this cooling peppermint stuff on and your head feels awesome and tingly. They then get the hot towel and that is even more awesome. It's like a mint for your head. Now if you get their early, you can still have wine, but they have coffee too. They know how to put just enough cream and sugar in. I highly recommend this salon because it's AWESOME. read more

I've waited 3 weeks to write this because I didn't want to write based on emotions and I hoped after a couple of weeks it would look better. It doesn't. To be brief I have straight hair. I told my stylist not to do any layering because it never looks good. "You mean choppy layers?" She asked. "All layers," I replied, "I don't like them." After she dried my hair I looked down because I wasn't happy with the color (I won't even comment more on that) and I thought she was just playing with my hair. Wrong. I looked up and she was randomly grabbing and hacking layers into my hair. I have a huge spot missing on one side. It's so cut up on that side that it looks like a badger gnawed some hair off. The only way to fix it is to cut if all Awful for the $100 I spent. Save your money and your hair. read more

Love this hair salon! Friendly staff and it is very clean. I always leave happy with the way my hair turns out. I would recommend this hair salon! read more

I was over charged and still decide to leave some tips and I end up receiving ''the tone'' of have a good day from the front register because I went ''cheap'' on it. First of all, I was not content with my haircut since it more looks like trimmed when I clearly state I just want a different style cut. Jody was not a bad cutter and she seemed really nice but she completely failed to understand when someone asked for a different style haircut, not a "trimmed." Second of all, they clearly told me when I was booking the appointment that it is going to be 59 but they end up charging me 69. Compare to price and quality. I recommend getting cut from somewhere else. read more

I took my daughter in last night for a quick hair cut. She has very long curly hair. Alesea was very nice and she put some long layers in her hair. After we left, my daughter pulled it up to a pony tail and it was VERY uneven. I called today to see about getting our money back and they stated no they would just fix it. At 17, she is very proud of her hair and doesn't want to go back. We just want our money back. read more

Went in very nervous- having had many crap cuts recently. Brittany did an amazing job and it came out better than I expected! I have long fine thick hair that Is stick straight. With the layers and frame it looks like it has some volume now without being choppy! read more

Jody Brinkmeier is hands down the best stylist I have ever been to. Her DevaCuts are awesome and she's so knowledgeable about curly hair. She's also just an amazing person, super kind! read more

Jody gave me a Deva Curl hair cut and went way shorter than I asked. Before the haircut my hair was down to my butt before using a diffuser, after the haircut, it barely touches my shoulders. I asked her to cut 4 inches and it looks like she did 8-10 inches. I know she's fairly new to the Deva Curl so I feel like she has a lot to learn. If you decide to have her cut, triple check the amount you want cut. read more

Brooke is the best. I drive 40 minutes so she can do my hair..I don't know what I'd do without her! This is a great little full-service salon and I love that they offer the convenience of online appointment scheduling. They do all hair services and offer waxing, too. I definitely recommend KTS and especially Brooke. read more

I've recently moved to the area and was looking for a new hair stylist. I decided to try KTS Hair Studio. Jade was my stylist and I couldn't have picked anyone better than her. I had a photo of the hair cut and color that I was looking for....well, when I left KTS Hair Studio, I was pleasantly surprised that it was almost exactly like the picture that I showed to Jade. I was nervous about getting this style, but Jade was so sweet and made me walk out of there feeling like I got exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much Jade. You are truly the best!!! read more

I LOOOOOOVVVEEEE KTS Hair Studio. Kevin, the owner, has been styling my hair for 10+ years and he does an excellent job! I moved to Chicago in April 2010 but travel back to Dallas for work on a regular basis. I continue to schedule appts with Kevin because I just can't imagine finding someone locally who is as good. I have very curly hair that can be difficult to manage. He not only gives my color a lift (whether I want more blond or more red or to revert to something closer to my natural color) and keeps my hair looking stylish, he also gives me great suggestions for products. He's not one of these hardcore salesmen who pushes product on you. He typically waits for me to ask for new products to try. The rest of the staff at KTS is great, too. I've been going there so long that I feel like part of their staff family. :) I highly recommend this place!!! I should also mention that pricing is reasonable. It's less than many of what my friends pay for similar services at other salons around Dallas. read more

Fallon does a great job for men's haircuts. Have been there many times and she consistently does a great job. Always satisfied!

Couldn't be more pleased with this salon-everyone was polite and smiling. LOVE, LOVE my hair! Kaja matched my original color perfectly and added the most wonderful extensions . I get compliments all the time and I will most definitely be a return client! read more

Brooke is awesome at what she does and very easy to talk to :) I would definitely recommend asking for her when you call!

I have been going to KTS Salon for several years now. I am currently using Amy Whitehorn as my stylist. She is AMAZING! She is able to take the vague descriptions I give her (because I am never really sure) and make my hair look so good. I do highlights/lowlights, cut and style. I have never had a bad experience. Plus, I am always getting compliments on my hair everywhere I go! The salon is so nice and clean. The people are very friendly. I would definitely recommend! read more

If this could have zero stars I would have rated it that. This salon was horrible and obviously doesn't care about its customers. I will definitely not be going back here and I advise others to not go here either. Thank God my friend does hair because she's having to correct my color TWO weeks before my wedding!!! This was added stress I did not need. Plus I had to pay $200 for something I did not want. Awful! read more

I have natural kinky curly hair. I've avoided salons for many years because most of them don't know how to cut or style curly hair. However, I have finally found a great stylist at KTS Hair Studio. KENDALL is awesome! She colored, shaped, treated and educated me on how to have a great style. I recommend her services and this salon especially if you have curly or hard to manage hair. read more

I've been going to KTS for a couple years now. I've always seen Fallon and she is very good. I don't color so it's just cut and style but I always look great when I leave there. Wasn't that impressed with the reception staff, and my hairdresser didn't speak much to me or make me feel very welcome. I can't say enough good things about Kevin at KTS. He convinced me to ditch a very outdated hair cut to something that took years off me, and his color work has been outstanding. I also like the fact he doesn't push products on you. Another thing -- he's always on time. I appreciate that. But the best part about Kevin is that he listens. He really tries to do the best job on your hair, no matter what. At the same time, he also tries to steer you towards trying new styles and or color ideas if he thinks they would work well on you -- and he has never made a suggestion to me that did not turn out well. I would highly recommend Kevin. Chris at KTS is also very good. He cuts the hair of a good friend of mine -- a very DIFFICULT client I might add because he never can articulate just exactly what he wants! He also has very thick hair. Chris does a great job with his hair. My friend is actually HAPPY with his hair cuts. (And trust me, over the years that has not been an easy thing to accomplish!) Nice vibe, great great service. Highly recommended. read more
