11/12/22: Discovered this salon through my ClassPass membership (you can message me if you want a free trial. I use it for workouts, beauty & self care). Called and spoke with the owner & she said they're a participant on ClassPass & she said yes, totally knew what I was talking about. I called the morning of to confirm my appointment, but they had me for a different time, even though my reservation appointment was showing otherwise. I had no choice but to go with what they had, as I needed my hair done that day. They called me later & said they could squeeze me in closer to my original appointment time. Whew. I arrived & the salon is super cute with rustic farm/barnyard style. There's a nice beverage & snack station. Dominique was my stylist who did my blowout. She was nice, friendly & did the style I wanted. Would've loved a scalp massage though. But my hair lasted over a week. Lol I refused to wash my hair cuz I didn't wanna lose my hairstyle. Upon checking out, the receptionist said $50. I said I prepaid through ClassPass. She had no idea what I was talking about, but just took screenshots and everything was fine. So great customer service there. But basically right after that, they removed everything from ClassPass, which was a huge bummer. I would've come regularly if they were on ClassPass. But they're still listed on there as a participating salon. If the owner reads this, thanks for a great first visit, and I hope you'll reconsider going back on ClassPass, pretty please!!! I'm getting blowouts at other ClassPass participant salons, but if they go back on there, I'll definitely be back even though other salons are more conveniently located to me! Had a root touch up today with Cache, she was fabulous!! The color looks amazing but I also had next to no staining around my hairline!! Having dark and fine hair this never happens!! So impressed!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I went to the salon and paid for a Bayalage Cut/Color/Tone and what I received is pictured below. Streaky, uneven color, incredibly brassy, botched haircut. My stylist was very personable however missed the mark completely. I have also attached my inspiration picture. My haircut isn't even? It looks like my hair was cut with toddler scissors. You know it's bad when your stylist tells you if you don't like it to "go buy blue shampoo". They warned my my hair might not lift like it should- false. Lifted completely at the new salon. She didn't re-saturate with lightener etc to try and breakthrough my lift level, she didn't blend my root shadow at all (stops an inch before the top of my head).. there's everything wrong with my hair and nothing right. I have called the salon multiple times, emailed, and no contact or ANY attempt to make this right. Had to go to another salon the next day and have my color corrected after paying nearly $500 total for this mess. I have requested a refund multiple times. Just save yourself the trouble and do not go to this salon. I wish I would've read this salons reviews BEFORE going and dropping a large load of money. read more

Very impressed with my experience with Jordan Bartley at Bombshells + Blowouts Salon. I walked in super duper busted, I looked like a dirty cave goblin, feeling insecure about myself walking in. I was greeted with warm smiles and great energy. The receptionist or person working the check out system offered me drinks which consist of red/white wine, light beer and even mimosas!!!! I had two mimosas. Jordan was very knowledgeable, professional, was great company and conversation. She made me feel very comfortable throughout my entire visit. She was able to give me a nice haircut and a beard cleanup quickly, efficiently and with care. She made me feel and look like a Greek God, I felt so rejuvenated after my visit. If you're in the area, definitely book an appointment with Jordan Bartley or ask for her. read more

I really wanted to like this salon! I entered a giveaway at the Roanoke Round Up in downtown Roanoke. The salon reached out to me and told me that I won a free color/lightning service with a haircut. How fun is that to actually win some thing?! I made an appointment and got a babysitter. When I arrived for my appointment the stylist asked what I wanted done to my hair. I showed her my inspiration picture. She said that my giveaway service only included 4 ounces of color only, and a haircut. I said that's not what was explained to me. She apologized and said it is what it is. Since I had already paid for a babysitter, and was already in the chair, I asked her if I could get a quote to go ahead and do my inspiration picture. She said she wouldn't be able to do that and wouldn't know the price until after the service was performed because she didn't know how much product it would take. I asked for a ballpark figure and she still refused! I'm sorry, but I'm not going to just have an open tab on my hair without any sort of indication on what it would cost. I was so embarrassed, it was such a waste of time and of a babysitter. I really feel like their Roanoke Round Up "giveaway" was just a gimmick to get business in the door. I got my hair done by Kat in 2020 and I asked for a BALAYAGE. She dyed my whole hair a orangish brass color and has my hair in bleach for like 6 hours, it's was ridiculous I ended up being at the salon for 8 hours!!! And still paid $400. Ridiculous do not go here. read more

Okay.. where should I start? So I had scheduled an appointment with Jenn, she seemed pretty cool and friendly at first. Anyway, i get there for my appointment, we talked about what I was doing with my hair, and what I wanted to achieve, so I showed her pictures, we decided to do a test strip that night to see how my hair was going to tolerate the bleach, so we did that, and a hair cut.. she was cool through the whole process, so I rescheduled with her to do the balayage for the week after. I scheduled it for 5:30, knowing it would be perfect timing for when I got off work.. the day of my appointment, I called and told them I may be a little early to my appointment, because I may be getting to leave work earlier than I was scheduled, so the 5:30 time slot was perfect, I just may be a little early. Well, I left work and headed straight to the salon, but at 5:15, Jenn called me and asked where I was and how long it would take me to get there, so I told her I was going to be on time. She then informed me that I was 15 minutes late to my appointment, I was confused as to how I was late, since my appointment wasn't for another 15 minutes.. well, without my knowledge, the girl at the front desk RESCHEDULED my appointment for 5 oclock, when all I did was call to inform them I MAY be a little early.. i NEVER asked for an earlier appointment. Anyway, Jenn was very upset and got very snappy with me and told me that if I wasn't there withing 10 minutes, she was going to have to reschedule me.. Anyway, I got there, and she she assured me she could do my hair (it was a balayage) well, to say the least, I went to a new salon very recently and the new stylist I saw took these pictures of my hair to show me how AWFUL it looked. Sections that were HALFWAY, if that, done. The hair cut was terrible too. I PAID 240 DOLLARS FOR HALF ASS WORK. I'm sorry, but I don't know if she did half ass work, because I was "late" that again, I didn't even KNOW... or if her work just isn't good. Just please do your research. I will never return to this salon. Purely unprofessional. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Worst experience I have ever had. My "stylist" was supposed to do a balayage on me and failed to do so. my hair was very healthy before I went there and when I left my hair was breaking off. She put Permanent color on the first 6 inches of my hair! which is WHY when they tried to fix it, my hair TURNED ORANGE!!! as Professional stylists, they should have known they weren't going to be able to lift through that dark brown color ! The manager/ owner Melanie Cosby said they would let me come in for free to fix it and I left the 2nd time with grey, orange, brown and yellow in my hair. I asked to get a refund because I now have to chop off my hair. We had a polite and professional text conversation, she had asked me to send her pictures of my hair, I sent her 7 photos , her response " Oh my gosh, that's horrible, I will absolutely take care of this in the morning, would you like me to set you up with her for a haircut to remove the dead ends" I stated, no thank you , that I needed to seek out an altertnate salon. to get my hair fixed. She then stated she would credit my card in the morning and send me a receipt, and said she appreciated me letting her know. Fast forward to the next day, we had a brief phone conversation , she asked me to come in so she could see my hair, I went to the salon, they said she wasnt there, and would return at 1:30, meanwhile the second stylist who tried fixing my hair came out and we talked, she again stated that Melanie wasn't there, but would be back at 1:30, i told her I would just wait since it was already 1:15. the next thing I know the Police showed up and told me they wanted me off the premises or I would be arrested. there was never a confrontation! there was never a time when they asked me to leave, it wasn't a hostile situation , I have a feeling this isn't the first time they've done this as it seemed very staged! This is THE MOST unprofessional business I have ever dealt with, I can't believe they would treat a paying client like this! THEY RUINED MY HAIR!!! Had a function to attend on Saturday and needed a blowout. A simple blowout became a two and a half hour, 2.5 hour ordeal. Had an appointment scheduled several days prior. No one to check you in. Was not seen until an HOUR later. "We are running behind." I can understand 5-15 minutes, but an hour? Frustrating to say the least. Finally get to the chair. Shampoo'd. Showed the stylist a picture and she screwed up the ponytail. Looked horrible. Asked for beach curls instead, did not know how to do it. Had another lady do it, and both screwed up beach curls!!! I was so frustrated after being there for 2.5 hours and the different expectations I had. I just said "I'M DONE!" How much more hairspray and hot curling and flat iron can you do to damage my hair?!? Took my 2 daughters to het their haircuts.. they are teens with long hair. They both saw Jordan. The haircut was very disappointing. They both got a basic cut with layers.. we couldn't tell the day of but after a few days it was obvious that the cut was VERY uneven for both girls. In addition to this, we booked with two stylists in efforts to not be there all night, one stylist didnt show so Jordan ended up doing both which meant we were there for 3 hours and I'm my opinion is way to long for 2 haircuts. This Salon used to be in Southlake but moved to Roanoke about a year ago. They have a very busy full service salon and everyone there is just super nice. No freaks or wierdos. I have been going there for over two years and have never been unhappy. Tina is my stylist but I have watched the other Stylists and they all do good work. I highly recomend them. read more

I have never dyed my hair before and my 18th birthday decided to, I heard a lot of good things about this place. But all I experienced was BAD. I was there for 4 hours and the lady COMPLETELY messed up the color I wanted, then blamed it on my hair. I was tired of being there so I told her I would come back another day for her to try again, she wanted me to pay $175 for her messing up my hair, and I wouldn't have it, so she told me to go somewhere else to fix it. Very bad experience. I went to walmart, bought a box for $10 and got the color I wanted perfectly on my own at home. read more

I scheduled online with one stylist a month prior to my appointment. A week before my appointment I was switched to another stylist who seemed new and not as experienced. I scheduled an all over color, cut, and style. After 3 hours and 15 minutes my hair was still being blow dryed and and half of my hair finished. I had made prior plans because my hair has never taken that long for color and cut, soI left and had to finish blow drying and straightening my hair at home. Once at home and under normal light, I realized just how black hair was. I have natural dark brown hair and asked the stylist to go back to my natural color. It is completely black! I'm so embarrassed about my haircut and am disappointed that I spent that much to be embarrassed by my color and cut. read more
