11/12/22: Discovered this salon through my ClassPass membership (you can message me if you want a…read morefree trial. I use it for workouts, beauty & self care). Called and spoke with the owner & she said they're a participant on ClassPass & she said yes, totally knew what I was talking about. I called the morning of to confirm my appointment, but they had me for a different time, even though my reservation appointment was showing otherwise. I had no choice but to go with what they had, as I needed my hair done that day. They called me later & said they could squeeze me in closer to my original appointment time. Whew. I arrived & the salon is super cute with rustic farm/barnyard style. There's a nice beverage & snack station. Dominique was my stylist who did my blowout. She was nice, friendly & did the style I wanted. Would've loved a scalp massage though. But my hair lasted over a week. Lol I refused to wash my hair cuz I didn't wanna lose my hairstyle. Upon checking out, the receptionist said $50. I said I prepaid through ClassPass. She had no idea what I was talking about, but just took screenshots and everything was fine. So great customer service there. But basically right after that, they removed everything from ClassPass, which was a huge bummer. I would've come regularly if they were on ClassPass. But they're still listed on there as a participating salon. If the owner reads this, thanks for a great first visit, and I hope you'll reconsider going back on ClassPass, pretty please!!! I'm getting blowouts at other ClassPass participant salons, but if they go back on there, I'll definitely be back even though other salons are more conveniently located to me! Edit:11/23/22: the sweet owner responded explaining the snafu with the ClassPass reservation system. I'll message CP to see if they can fix this, as I do love this salon & hope they can get back on. Thank you for replying, Patty! Happy Thanksgiving!

I recently saw on my IG feed the salons pics and some of the women who have had cuts there. They had pretty cool hair so I was like hey, let's try this place for my wife. I booked her appt on yelp Saturday morning on the 13th through the book now option. I was like wow! Got a time for today, and a good early time. Was pleased with how seamless this was. Wife was happy appt was set. Things were great. Keep in mind my wife has had bad luck with haircuts and has been dying for a haircut and looking forward to it. Later that day before the appt I got an email saying it was canceled and moved to the 18th at like 3pm. I tried calling several times that day. No answer. Nothing. Straight to vm of a lady that doesn't even say that she's with the salon. This I think Tuesday or Wednesday I finally am able to get a hold of someone I forget if I called or they called me. Rebooked the appt for today 10/8 5pm which was great cause I'd get home watch the kids, and my wife could relax and get her hair done. Now to today 10/18 I get a call informing me the lady I spoke with booked me "for the wrong day" and that we needed to resched tomorrow. Seriously....... so this is my first impressions with a business. 1 canceled app, 1 rescheduled app, and then a "I'm sorry we booked you the wrong day" Poor customer service, Yelp "book an appointment" function is worthless if they don't have their appt books aligned with it, no one working the phones apparently on weekends which is pretty weak from a financial stand point for future clients. And on top of that I will tell you and everyone else looking for a haircut to avoid BEENE AND COMPANY and take your money elsewhere. UPDATE***** today the manager Shelly reached out to me, took responsibility for the mix up and changes and offered my wife a chance to come back at 50% off for service. Shelly didn't try and shuck and jive. She apologized. Very admirable. My wife didn't feel comfortable going back to a place to have someone work on her hair after we had given a poor review, understandable. I do thank Shelly for reaching out to me to make this right. I have updated the rating to 3 stars in light of all of this.

Bad experience and would not go back. Here is why…read more I had scheduled a time/day to get my hair cut. The stylist took 6 hours (no exaggeration) to do my hair. It got to the point where it was 10:00 p.m. and I just had to leave. I couldn't take it any more. She didn't even finish my hair all the way and she made me very uncomfortable. It wasn't until the next day that I realized just how bad my hair really was. My roots were not even touched and my hair was very uneven. To say that this was the worst haircut/dye that I have ever received, is an understatement. So naturally, I decided to go back to the salon and just ask them to fix it. I didn't make a big deal about it at all and I would have been fine just getting it fixed. Upon entering the salon the following day, I spoke with Jeff and explained my situation and how I requested to have my hair fixed. Jeff then proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay for another appointment...I politely explained the situation again and requested that my roots just be touched up and my uneven hair trimmed. Jeff stated he would have to speak to his supervisor (maybe, the owner?), Melissa and I would be contacted. Was I contacted? Nope. In fact multiple times I had to follow up and send multiple pictures to finally get another appointment scheduled. Luckily, when I came in and got my hair fixed, a new stylist fixed my hair and I was pleasantly relieved. It should be reiterated that no one including the supervisor, Melissa, the owner, or anyone ever contacted me to apologize including when I came back in person to get my hair fixed. In addition, I should also point out that whenever a stylist leaves the salon, the company sends out emails, and at times will explain why the stylist left. For one particular stylist, the email stated, "XXXX has left Willow Sage Salon on unfortunate terms. Her conduct has not been in line with our values, and we cannot continue working with her." In my opinion, this is unprofessional and these type of things should be kept in house. There is no need to air dirty laundry out to the public. By doing this, it doesn't reflect positively on the business and raises questions about the company and business practices. To summarize, all of this could have been easily avoided and I wouldn't have posted a review if better customer service would have been implemented. The owner or supervisor-anyone should have contacted me, apologized and resolved the problem immediately by booking another appointment. I shouldn't have had to continue to follow up multiple times etc. I will never go back. Do not recommend.
