While most everyone was having brunch, I chose to get a cup of their soup of the day. Served with homemade wheat toast from the bakery. Thai green curry soup was delicious. I also had the Caesar salad with chicken. You can tell a great Caesar by the quality of the dressing. It was thick and creamy and coats each piece of Romaine lettuce nicely. I have no doubt the croutons were homemade. Love places that give lemon wedges with the salad. Everything I ate was delicious. The service from the staff was also excellent. I have been staying away from sweets since January so skipped the baked goods altogether. I will come back next time I'm in town.

Small but cozy and decorated with kitschy and cute decor, this coffee house/cafe offers coffee, tea, matcha, boba drinks, smoothies and fresh juices. They also have breakfast goodies and other items like muffins, burritos and frittatas. Everything is fresh and served quick. You can sit inside or there are also some outside benches overlooking the lake in the back. I was able to order a sugar-free blended mocha with sugar-free whipped cream. Ahem, REAL whipped cream. Yes it was fantastic and a great price as well. They have a huge variety of flavored syrups and options, protein bases and vegan milks and can create drinks on par with a certain windmill chain...ONLY better! Very happy J&J's Smokin BBQ was what we saw and stopped at to grab a quick bite. There is parking out front and a couple of chairs and table outside. The BBQ spot is right next to a small shop where you can grab some snacks and drinks for the road. The BBQ spot itself is pretty basic - you walk up and they have a couple listed items from bbq sandwiches, wings and even tacos. I grabbed the pulled pork sandwich and sat down to wait for the order. While waiting many many people were ordering the wings and tacos - so must be epic! Got the food and was pretty happy with it. Plenty of flavor with the spicy sauce and fresh slaw. 100% would stop by again!
