Had my bmw battery replaced and "coded + registered" here at the end of 2020. Noticed the car had various problems after: stuttered idling, parking lamps burning out, engine misfires, crank but no start, etc... Originally, I thought these issues were due to the age of the car, but I recently had to replace the battery again and to my surprise when the battery M Tech Autocare sold me was pulled out, it was a plain Lead Acid battery and not an AGM battery although the car was currently coded for an 80 Ah AGM battery. The battery history also said it had never been replaced. Additionally, the car had many many error codes due to overvoltage and undervoltage. It looks like they simply swapped the battery and never coded and never registered the new one although I was charged $120 for labor including the programming and registration. Had the right sized battery for the vehicle installed and correctly coded and registered a week ago, and the car has been driving a lot better and smoother. Hate to leave a bad review but I have been reading that the wrong battery and coding on bmws can cause serious problems, very very negligent by M Tech Autocare. read more

Great service . Great communication throughout the process of fixing my vehicle. I'm very happy I founded this shop!

It's Firoz- They have 5 stars for a reason, they are very skilled at their craft and the only few mechanics that truly are honest and straightforward with you. EJ is the main guy there, super friendly, accommodating and definitely a person you'd want to go to for any repair/any technical advice/questions you need to get done to you car. This shop is way better than going to the stealership and I highly advise that you check this place out because you will not be disappointed. I'm actually disappointed that I haven't this shop sooner. I'm not trying to over sell or sound like I'm brown nosing but these guys are solid, and definitely a shop where you can routinely bring into and they will execute what needs to be done, hence the name: MTech Auto Care. EJ and M Tech were great! They were able to get my car in quickly and performed excellent services. Their pricing was very transparent and competitive. Came here with an EKPS module issue (fuel pump control module). My guy ejay took care of me right away, had it coded and wired into the oem spec. Since I had him working on my baby already. I had him replace my low pressure fuel pump. The car runs way smoother now. Apart from that, Ejay is extremely welcoming and his goals are clear. And that is to take care of everyone with their bmw. Thanks ejay ! read more

I have used M Tech for a ton of work on my BMW, they have done everything from simple work to full engine rebuild for a track oriented car. Excellent attention to detail and EJ will keep you informed about any issues or things they discover during repairs. They really care about the cars there and do the job correctly even if it takes more time. The prices are super fair considering the amount time they put into some of these bigger jobs, I've had other shops quote much higher or simply refuse to do some of the more complex work such as head gasket jobs or engine work that requires machine shop support, while M Tech knocked it out of the park. read more

These guys are the absolute best. Had to get an emergency battery change and they got me in right away - only took 1 hour and they had me out instantly. Can't thank Ejmin enough, he was very helpful and attentive and made sure everything was done correctly including installation and coding. Thank you guys! Will be back again soon. read more

I have a 2009 335i that needed turbo's replaced and a LOT of other work done so I asked around online and everyone recommended EJ at MTech. I now know why. The work EJ does is excellent and his communication was beyond what I'd ever expect from a shop. He goes out of his way to provide picture progress updates to show you that the work is being done, facetime if there's any issues and explanations of any surprises. I showed up with a car that was making more noise than a garbage truck and left with what felt like a brand new ride. This is the shop to trust with your BMW. read more

one of the best BMW shops out in the valley, both Ej and his brother are amazing master techs who know the heart of your BMW. They are really great with communication and have astonishing fast service. we all know we don't like taking our cars to the dealers due to their absurd prices, so M tech is The place to go. I took my car to get oil change, change and gap spark plugs along with installing new coils. this is definitely going to be my go to shop for all my car needs! read more

Took my car in for regular maintenance; oil change and transmission/mechatronic service. EJ really knows his stuff. I've been asking other mechanics to do a mechatronics service and they don't even know what I'm talking about. I don't understand why he doesn't have more reviews but he definitely should have 100 already! He will handle your car with care and take his time tackling whatever needs to be taken care of with your BMW (other cars as well). I've been through so many mechanics and I've only had my car for 5 months (yea, it's a bmw it broke down a few times). But I found EJ to be VERY RELIABLE and everyone should too. He's a real good dude and I trust him (hard to find a trustworthy mechanic). I'm originally from Torrance but Now that I'm in the NoHo area I'll be coming to him for all my BMW needs. Thanks EJ!! **UPDATE REVIEW** Just took my car in today for a full front control arms replacement and an oil change. EJ as always was super helpful. He took pictures and vids and showed me things that might need to be replaced or repaired. I just got back and my car handles like a champ. This is the only place I go to because these other shops not only rip you off but just plain aren't trustworthy. EJ always guarantees his work and I've been happy every time. Thanks EJ! read more

I have driven BMWs all my life and know how to work on these cars. I usually do all my own work, but with my new X5M, I wanted to go to a professional for service. I'm extremely thankful I found EJ at M Tech. Fantastic pricing and great work. Very upfront and knows what they're talking about. I got a complete fluid service - oil, coolant, power steering, transfer case, and differentials along with a break pad replacement at a fantastic rate. Will continue to drive here for any further work necessary. read more

EJ and the crew are great! They have done plenty of work on my E36 M3 and E46 M3. I highly recommend them. It is good to know there is a reputable BMW shop here in burbank! If you have a bmw, I definitely recommend this shop. read more

Took my M6 to EJ for a transmission fluid and diff fluid change. First off I need to say that EJ gave me the only reasonable price out of all the shops I called; other places gave me astronomical quotes for what is at most a 2 hour job. EJ is very honest, friendly and confident in his work, unlike other shops that weren't even sure what the job entailed but didn't mind asking for an arm and a leg anyway. One of the parts that I had ordered to be switched during the service (transmission fluid filter) was delivered to me broken, but EJ simply cleaned and restored the old one (which is reusable) for me. Excellent work and an excellent price with no shadiness or ambiguity involved. From now on I'll always be bringing my M6 to EJ for any service as I feel he has absolutely earned my business. read more

10/10 BMW shop. I got in contact with EJ the head tech about my F80 M3, I stopped by the shop later that day to get some maintenance done on the car. I was more than pleased with the service I got today. EJ is a smart, helpful, and honest man. I won't be looking for another garage to work on my car, EJ is the man. read more

As a bmw enthusiast I am very careful with who works on my car & the products that are used being up to spec for these vehicles. I was blown away with the care, and knowledge the guys here have. They truly care about what they use on your car, and he went out of his way to make sure everything on my car was good. He put it on a lift and pointed out all the parts that normally have wear & tear and said that everything checked out. He gave me choices of high quality oil to choose from, didnt over charge me. Prices are very fair and you get a much better experience than going anywhere else. He is a bmw master tech that used to work at the dealership. So imagine Dealership Quality.. but with fair prices. Crazy right? Make sure to stop by and check him out.. you will not be disappointed!! read more

Ej is the man! I'm really picky when it comes to my cars and its hard for me to find a good mechanic I can trust. I had a few things lined up for my e39 540 and wanted to do them little by little. After meeting and talking with EJ he earned my trust almost immediately and after seeing how clean and organized the shop was i knew that my care was in great hands. He kept me in the loop the whole time sending me pictures of parts as they came off and as they were replaced .. the reason I wanted to go step by step was obviously the money factor and Ej put everything on one list told me what was nessesary and what didn't need to be done and to top it off his price has to be the best same list different shop was almost 2 grand more!! Thank you Ej you got yourself a loyal customer here! read more

EJ is phenomenal! I brought my e46 M3 to the shop for a simple oil change, a few cosmetic issues, and some problems a dealership told me to look into. EJ debunked the dealership's advice (saving me money) and was able to handle everything else with ease and in a timely manner. Later - I was running into some shifter problems, and had to tow my car to his shop on a weekend. Again, EJ was super kind, and helpful through the whole process! He even ran to the shop (on his day off) to house my car in the garage for the weekend! What a guy!
