    37. Shanghai-Style Lo Mein and 2. Pork Dumplings

Noodles 8.5/10. Wish it had more sauce. And the fried pork dumplings are a 10/10! Very flavorful in the inside and juicy. I love the chili oil paired with the pork dumplings. Service: 8/10 they take a while (I ordered thru yelp pickup) Ambiance: it's a nice interior and vibe. Just briefly went in to pick up my food. I just order the pork dumplings when I come to this place. I want to try their other dumplings/buns.

I got a delivery order from M Shanghai. The food I order were 59. Shredded Beef with Chili pepper $20.25 and 37. Shanghai-Style Lo Main with pork $14.75 For Chinese restaurant and the quality of food compare to the price I feel it is a bit too high. The taste of food is okay I like shredded beef but not crazy about Lo-main. Because of the price point plus the taste, I'm not sure if I want to order from this place again.

Would do 2.5 stars if a could. Not work the money. The Amazing Salt and Pepper Shrimp - was not amazing. The shrimp were small. Some were soggy. There was a breading falling off. Was $30 with brown rice. The fried pork dumplings were a bit tough. The mixed vegetable platter. $20. Was like flavorless boiled vegetables. Wanted to like this place but couldn't.

Seafood dumplings. Small, not much dough, fishy flavor.

Tonight I decided to splurge and pay double then I ever spend on mu shoo pork - they charge $18 for this dish and call it "fabulous mu shu." It's the worst I have ever had in my life. It's just plain flavorless cabbage. A couple of pieces of mushroom and flavorless pork mixed in. How could they call this fabulous and charge $18?!

I was really feeling Chinese food the other night so decided to give this place a try since sit was nearby. The place was pretty empty, but we decided to give it a try anyways. Sadly, the food was not very good, as I've cooked similar dishes at home that I think tasted better.

Great tasting din soup dumplings! I came around lunch and…read moreit was busy. Luckily the turn around time for a table isn't a long wait. Their menu is pretty unique. I tried the wontons in spicy peanut sauce. It was different because I'm use to chili wontons. The spicy peanut sauce wasn't spicy. The peanut sauce itself is pretty thick, so I would recommend dipping it in the accompanying dipping sauce to balance the flavors. I would try the spicy peanut wontons again. I also tried the pork soup dumplings, which took some time to cook. It arrives very hot, so give it some time to cool off, maybe 5-10 minutes. The soup dumplings were mid, maybe I would try the truffle soup dumplings if I came back. I love how the dumplings are made in house

However, the real negative here is the operations. It is a chaotic mess for the volume they are trying to do. It's not about adding more manpower, it's about streamlining. Tables are sitting empty while people are on the waitlist (not due to reservations), orders are going to the wrong tables, to-go orders are in disarray and have to be re-verified on multiple orders, and it takes a long time to get some water. The Yelp waitlist is useless here - wait was supposed to be 5-10 minutes and it turned into almost 40. All this could have been avoided with more planning, better organization, and training. Kitchen staff doing their job well. Front of house needs work.

They're definitely one of the best I've had. Even their scallion pancakes are good. Thin and crispy with enough substance to hold its shape after a soy sauce dunk. We also ordered the salt and pepper squid, the Szechuan style bean curd (basically mapo tofu), and the watercress with enoki mushrooms. Everything was very delicious. Service however, was just adequate. But it's what you would expect from a delicious Chinese restaurant. The waitstaff will get you what you want when you ask it, but clearly doesn't want to be there. Also the place is cash only. But there's a reason they're always busy on the weekends, this place is good.

This was the first time I hung out with these ppl outside of boxing class so I was very excited. I did get a bit overserved with sake and other stuff and resulted to being an inconvenience. Haven't hung with them since, which I guess is what it is. Some ppl will make a decision off of one incident and others will have grace. My friends were unfortunately the first type of ppl. Anyways, regardless of all that, just talking food and drink, there was a decent wait even when everyone in our party was there. They will not seat you until everyone has arrived by the way. The drinks were limited from a variety standpoint so we just share lots of sake. Foot was pretty good but nothing to write home about. Personally do not think I would seek this place out, but if I happen to be in the area and I am hungry, I would. Also, shout out to Nelson our server who was super sweet.

Growing up, we had pan fried noodles all the time. They're harder to find now, and when I do find them, they're often disappointing. Not here. The shrimp pan fried noodles were excellent. I had enough for lunch and dinner the next day, which is always a win. I've passed this place so many times and I'm so glad I finally gave them a try. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Also, I have to mention the packaging. Some of the best I've ever seen for delivery. Each soup dumpling came in its own separate plastic cup (if you've ordered these before, you know how easily they can arrive broken with soup everywhere). The pan fried noodle broth was sealed and packed separately from the noodles, and the soup was packaged thoughtfully as well. Everything arrived intact and fresh. Highly recommend!
