Hannah has been my nail tech throughout these past 4 months and has been amazing. She takes her time with my nails and is committed to maintaining the health and strength of them. They've grown so long and healthy and she's easily the best tech I've had in my life. I'll be sad when I eventually return to LA and leave this salon, but for now it's my weekly treat to myself with their variety of lotions, masques and scrubs. The lady who did my pedicure was very friendly while taking her time - she did a great job! They're very personable at Monet Spa which I also like - the owner remembered my name and that I'm married and have a daughter. The staff is always so grateful to see you back too! 1pm Gel x removal (other salon) and hard gel set…read more FYI-The person who removed my nails was not the person who did my hard gel set. Before I received my requested soak off the nail tech did utilize another nail tip to push up my lifting(?) Until it couldn't go anymore then proceeded to cut it off before applying the acetone and foil. The person doing so did seem nice and checked to make sure I wasn't hurting, but whenever that nail tip comes out it gives me the ick. I believe I paid $65 for my hand set which didn't include the design that the tech did discount off. This is my first time trying hard gel and my whole purpose is trying to grow out my natural nails. I asked to see if the tech could use the hard gel to make my shorter nails the same length as the longer ones but this wasn't possible- she'd have to cut my nails done, add tips then the gel which defeated my whole purpose. I do think the gel could've been applied a bit thicker? I got them done three days ago and my pinky nail unfortunately begun to chip. I also noticed that some parts of my nails are actually bare/lacking from any gel/polish, and after taking these photos I noticed my flowers are actually lacking symmetry as well. The lady doing my gel set seemed to become a little frustrated when I wouldn't hold my hand upside down stiffly (again 1st time with hard gel). She also laughed when I asked for a multi-flower design a cause my nails are too short. Sigh. 3pm - two pedicures The lady who did my pedicure was EXTREMELY kind- my feet came out soft- massage was nice- however, my only remark is to ask regarding nail shaping- I've NEVER had a circular toe shape in my life these babies are usually more square and sharp, but by the time I actually looked it was too late. Also, not sure what happened with their scheduling but my friend ended up waiting almost an hour before her pedicure was started (I already finished mine) and we left around 5pm from our 3pm appointment. The store is cute and small you'll almost miss it if you drive too fast. It's just not for me.

The service is always good. The technicians are friendly. They never seemed like they are rushing through clients and I have good experiences when I come. Best of all, they are the only salon in the area that uses OPI regular polish, rather than the cheap DNC. I don't normally get gel, and never acrylics or dip. Therefore, I don't know what they use for those services. The prices are good. I paid $70 dollars for the top pedicure and mid range manicure, but they can be as low as $50. It's probably the best price in the Arden/Sac State area.
