Super small and cute. A lot of orchids, definitely feels like a small family business! The service was great, the lady was an older Asian woman who was super sweet and answered all our questions. She also gave us a free donut! The donuts are super soft on par with a fresh Kristy Kreme donut without all the sugar! Krispy Kreme and Dunkin are usually sickly sweet for me but this place I was almost about to eat the whole box before my husband stopped me! My favorite was the Maple! Literally tastes like pancake!

A half dozen donuts with a handful of donut holes to go with my order. Enough donut holes that it almost covers the donuts.

Amazing. I heard about this place for years and it has always been on my bucket list but due to time and location I could never get there and try their donuts. I finally was able to visit the place today and it is worth all the hype. The lady behind the counter was very kind and happy to fill out my order. She answered questions concerning the donut types, and when I forgot to ask for a receipt she gave the store printed receipt. She even added a handful of donut holes for free. A wonderful woman indeed. I chose a half dozen to take with me. The were so delicious that I could not stop eating them. Each standard donut were light and airy. An easy chew that made it pleasurable to eat. They were: 1) Glazed donut - A lightly sweet glaze without being too sweet. 2) Chocolate covered glazed donut - Soft sweet chocolate flavor that washed over the and melted into the donut flavor. 3) Butterscotch covered glazed donut - As soon as you bite into the butterscotch you can tell the rest of your day will be as sweet. 4) Cinnamon glazed donut - Before biting into the donut, you can smell the cinnamon, and it permeates your mouth as you devour this pleasant donut. 5) Chocolate glazed sourdough donut - a thick rich cake donut batter that is extra crunchy. Not too sweet but very satisfying. 6) Vanilla glazed cake donut - as with the sourdough donut, a thick but soft cake batter that was not too sweet but you could tell that this was a cake donut. Overall, a check mark off the bucket list and a place I would highly recommend to anyone that wants delicious donuts.

Delicious. Bacon. Donuts. Super efficient and pleasant lady behind the counter dishing donuts. No frills. Don't need em. The donuts speak for themselves. Good coffee too!

Free donut holes with my order!

What a great local donut shop serving the Pineville area. I needed something to take to the office for a meeting so I looked up and saw the reviews here and thought I'd come in. Super nice lady probably the owner was serving up the donuts that they baked fresh every day so I picked a couple of dozen and said mix it up and I got some really good fresh donuts and some free donut holes to serve to my colleagues. They were quite happy! The maple doughnut dipped in bacon bits was fantastic as was there plain glazed and chocolate glazed According to the crowd. Great value with excellent service and even picked up 10 or 12 bottled waters so this was great for me to take to the office for this training class. This is near my new headquarters so I will be back as I only have a Krispy Kreme near me which I love, but this local place really hit the spot. Thanks for a great job

Today we stopped by MJ donuts en route to visit a few family members for vacation holiday in Charlotte. We arrived at 10:45am and most of their donuts were gone. We selected a dozen glazed, a few cinnamon roll donuts and two apple fritters. They gave us a few extra glazed donuts & donut holes for free. Note arrive to MJ early for a good selection in the Souhtheast area of Charlotte.

First time at MJs in a long time. I'm so sad. As soon as I looked at the case, I had this feeling they didn't look super fresh. I was there at 8:30 am. Sure enough, got home and the icing on several was already breaking down and oozing/watery in the box. That is a sure sign of old glaze. The chocolate glaze doesn't look correct at all and doesn't taste great either. I'm pretty sure I paid $30 for this dozen of sad donuts. She didn't give me a receipt.

I really do love Super G Mart. I frequent both locations -- the one on Independence and the newer,…read morelarger store in Pineville -- and this one feels like a destination in itself, especially with the huge food court. As a transplant to Charlotte for work, I'm always searching for the ingredients and flavors I grew up with, and this place delivers. From the fresh seafood counter -- where you'll find beautiful tiger prawns -- to the endless rows of fish sauce, oyster sauce, and every variety of soy sauce imaginable (sweet, dark, mushroom, Japanese), the selection is impressive. The aisles are thoughtfully organized by cuisine and region, which makes navigating the store surprisingly easy, even if you're new to Asian markets. The frozen section alone is worth the trip. If you're looking for dumplings -- Chinese, Japanese, Korean, even Nepalese -- they've got you covered. And don't sleep on the handmade crepe cakes in the freezer. Yes, they're about $25, but they're stunning and absolutely delicious. Honestly, they rival the famous crepe cakes from Lady M in the San Francisco Bay Area, where those cakes can easily run over $100. At this price point, it feels like a steal -- and you'll definitely impress your guests. The produce section is another highlight. The ginger is incredibly fresh, and the variety is fantastic -- from gai lan and sweet chives to cebollitas (Mexican green onions) and crisp green beans. It's a true sensory experience for anyone who loves to cook. This isn't a trendy, boutique grocery store, and that's exactly the charm. It's old-school, practical, and stocked with the essentials. Toward the back right corner, you'll find pallets of noodles in every style -- Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean -- everything you could possibly need for home cooking. The butcher and fishmonger are also available to help, which adds a nice personal touch to the shopping experience. There's also a bakery inside with beautiful fruit-and-cream cakes -- the kind you'll recognize if you've ever celebrated in an Asian household. Light, fresh, and not overly sweet. And if you're a coffee lover, keep an eye out for Café du Monde coffee -- it's usually several dollars cheaper here than at typical grocery stores. A few friendly tips: * Go with a plan -- this place can be overwhelming in the best way. * Don't bring a big entourage unless they're ready to explore. * And if you visit the Pineville location, go hungry -- the food court alone is worth the trip. Both locations are fantastic, but the Pineville store is newer, larger, and especially fun to explore. Shop curious, cook boldly, and enjoy the adventure.

Had a friend originally from Columbia come for a visit and he loved all the items they had from when he was a kid. It was clean and there was plenty of room for families. There were about a dozen food stalls here with food choices thatbspan the Asian world. You want Lao food? You got it! Filipino food? Of course! The last few times the coffee tasted burnt - okay, I can give them the benefit of the doubt they were just having a bad day. The bragles started tasting more microwaved, thrown inside a horrible tinfoil wrap so it's soggy and chewy and boiling hot. This last visit sealed the deal - I'll never go back and I hope you consider your options before going. My husband went to pick us up 2 large coffees with oatmilk (I have a dairy intolerance and whole milk KILLS me, I'm also breastfeeding my 2 month old daughter who has a dairy intolerance as well) and a turkey havarti bragle. It was $25!!!! I have 1/4 of my coffee and a few bites of bagel before I can tell something isn't right. The coffee was definitely made with whole milk, but even more than that I was VIOLENTLY ill. My husband calls the store to talk with a manager about the coffee being made wrong. They said "sorry, there's not a manager here, we can't tell if the coffee was made with whole milk or oatmilk because we all collectively make the coffees together so there's no way to tell, come back tomorrow to get a new coffee" I spent the day in the bathroom - again with a newborn and 2 toddlers who need their mom at 100%. I call the next day hoping to speak to a manager, I get the same "there's no manager on duty" I told them I thought I had food poisoning and wanted a refund and to speak with someone. The kid suggested I go to "biggby dot com and fill out a complaint because that would be quicker". I told him I'd prefer he write down my information because I'm a mom of 3 and I have food poisoning - I don't need to hunt down an email to speak to someone about getting a refund. (Hindsight he never shared my information because I never got a call) I ended up going online to fill out a complaint. Got the full run around, the owner reached out and apologized - asking questions about the visit and then radio silence for 5 days. I reached back out appalled it had taken almost a week to hear back. The owner got an attitude - saying they had a family emergency and they would refund me. TLDR: go literally anywhere else for coffee, you'll save money and you won't get the wrong type of milk in your coffee.
