I love visiting Alley 51 when I shop at Super G. It doesn't happen often, but when I do, I get excited about what I am going to eat! The food hall and the restrooms are always clean. It is such a treat to find what you like among the Asian options. It was definitely worth the wait after Covid delayed the opening. I was very excited when I visited one evening and found Alley 51 open and doing a brisk business. Even my grand was allowed to play in the kids' area. She played well with the other children and enjoyed herself. I went home thoroughly pleased with my new bestest place, Sizzling!

Alley 51 is the mecca, the holy grail, the most glorious place you'll ever go to...inside one of the best grocery stores you've been to in awhile. It's a 2 in 1 and bingo, you just hit the lottery!! After you do some international grocery shopping at Super G Market, tuck your groceries away into your trunk and make your way into Alley 51 for an explosion of taste around Asia! If you've ever been to Singapore and visited a hawker center, you'll reminisce those good ol' days of trying different kiosks out and savoring every dish desirable to man (without that awful heat, of course). Never been to Singapore? Well. This is an air conditioned version of a hawker center and you don't need to place a bag of tissues on a table to claim it. There are SO many options. From bao to Korean hot dogs, sushi to boba. Alley 51 has it all! If you love Asian food, you'll enjoy Alley 51. Need a little pick me up? Hang out at the little arcade for a bit and hit the floor on Dance Dance Revolution. Is your child running amuck and overstimulated by too many restaurant choices? There's a little play area for them, too! I'm telling you, Alley 51 has thought it all and brought it all. I love it here!!

I really like the idea of food hall with different Asian food restaurants in one big place. We had the pho, banh mi trio (which was okay imo) ; beef wagyu in a sticks, sushi, and crispy chicken wings (needs more seasoning ), honey bbq chicken rice plate, mango and strawberry smoothie, and rice plates from Great Wall were good. They have boba drinks and others juices as well. This place also has small play area for little toddler aged and arcade for big kids. Next to the Alley 51 is a grocery store G Mart with international food options. We like the ambience of this place and I don't mind visiting this place again when we visit the town.

This food hall is AWESOME. I can't believe it took us this long to check it out! We went on a Friday evening, and it was giving night market vibes with the lanterns and lively environment. Very family-friendly with lots of seating and even a kids area and arcade. In terms of food options, they've got most of Asia covered! I saw Chinese, Thai, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, and more. We decided to try a variety of savory bao from Honey Bun, which were all nicely fluffy with tasty fillings. The teriyaki one was our fave of the bunch. And the food was handed to me right after ordering, so no need to wait to enjoy! We also got the Adobo Chicken from Manila Grill, which was a good amount of bone-in chicken in a savory broth, with rice on the side. This dish took about 10 min to be ready - not bad at all - and was a bit challenging to eat, but once we dug in we really enjoyed the flavor and tenderness of the chicken. I wish the food hall and Super G Mart closed later on weekends, since we would have liked to grab dessert and shop in the grocery store after our meal, but it was already passed 9pm so things were closing. We'll need to come earlier next time!

Anime Vibes + Amazing Food = Perfect Father's Day! We went to Alley 51 to celebrate Father's Day weekend and WOW it was like stepping into a little anime fan's dream world! From the moment we walked in, I was personally in a mini heaven. The vibe, the decor, everything felt like it was made for fans like us. Now the food... absolutely incredible. I ordered the bao bao buns with roasted duck and they were mouthwatering tender, flavorful, and perfectly done. My dad had the Chinese wings and pork fried rice, and let me tell you, he could not stop talking about how good it was. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and just hit the spot. Such a cool, immersive spot to eat and chill we'll definitely be back. 10/10 experience for both anime lovers and foodies alike!

This spot really never disappoints! It also seems like there's something new every time I come, so that's fun. There are soooo many places to choose from for your food and drink. It can seem overwhelming. I highly recommend going with a group of friends and everyone ordering a couple of things and then you all just share everything. You get to try so much more food that way and it's so fun! This is what I did this trip with a friend of mine. There was so much great food!! It would be a problem for me if Alley 51 was closer to my house. Whew, take me back!

Did we drive an hour and a half- yes! But on our quest for amazing Asian cuisine it had to be done and let me tell you what, I've been singing praises and recommending this to anybody that will listen. If you love Asian food this place is a must- Alley 51 is a huge Asian food hall that offers everything from Thai( my personal favorite), to Korean, Filipino, Chinese and more. If you love butter mochi donuts then look no further! They have those as well and truly so much more. I came here on a random weekday night after getting off from work at 5 and like I said the drive was worth it. We got a little of everything and went home happy an ao full and had so many leftovers. Some of my favorite felines that night were def the kimchi carbonara, the Thai Panang curry, the mochi donuts and the bobas. Oh they also had a place that sold dumplings and those were so delicious- truly everything was amazing and then the even bigger perk this food hall is connected to a huge Asian grocery store if you've been to hmart I would say about the same. Service was friendly, they have food options for days and like I said I've been recommending this place like crazy- worth the hype. My favorite find if 2025.

I was slow to get to Alley 51 but once I did I made up for lost time. I don't have too many favorites yet because every single thing I have had has been good. I love that there are plenty of small options because it is so much fun to go with a few people and try a tone of different things. The bar has some nice options too.

Aesthetic: Modern Asian food hall with a wide variety of unique food stalls and a Japanese video game room, Akihabari. My Favorites: I love Akihabari, they have so many wonderful games including my favorite Final Fantasy rhythm game, Theaterhythm. Experience: We love it here, we've tried some authentic dishes and played a few of the games at Akihabari. I highly recommend playing some Theaterhythm then trying some authentic Jian Bing at Quicitop. The workers were a little intense there, but the food was awesome! We still have so many places to try here, they have tons of choices.

So much food but I can only eat so much. (T_T) Everything is so yummy. From the pad thai to the mochi donuts everything is amazing. I love the pagers for each place. Just pick the place and they will have your food ready for pickup in a few mins. Service is quick at most places but lines can get long on the weekend. The atmosphere is that of a food court without the people handing out free samples. (Yes, I want free samples too). I've been here quite a few times and haven't found a place I didn't like. Get the Mochi donuts, oh and the Korean corndogs ooh and the waffle dessert thing that is amazing! Just get it all. (^_^)/"

This place is absolutely at hit ! So many different amazing vendors with delicious food. If you can't find something here you're not hungry. Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean Thai and even a full bar with all the right ingredients for an afternoon or evening cocktail ! This place is located right beside Super G in the former Kmart space . You remember Kmart right ? Authentic food and drinks. You can get multiple different kinds of food and beverages. Just go and walk around and see. You're welcome!!!

Say wuuuut? Food court, connected to Super Gmart

This is the food court that's connected to Super G-mart. There's plenty to choose from, mainly Asian cuisine. Good stuff.

I swung in to try Ray Lay this time...and I seriously regret this choice. I remember liking Ray Lay at South Boulevard, so I figured this would be about the same...but well, it was way worse! I ordered Pad See Ew with Chicken, and it was just lacking flavor (not enough sauce and/or flavoring). Possibly the worst Pad See Ew I've ever had?? Then the Thai Iced Tea was utterly tasteless...hardly sweet at all! Again, the worst Thai Iced Tea I've ever had! So this lackluster meal (Pad See Ew with Chicken and Thai Iced Tea) costed over 18 bucks. Made me think...From Thai House down the street, you'll get the same items PLUS Spring Roll AND Soup for the same price (or possibly even less - Lunch Specials!)...all nicely presented on a plate with silver utencils...and theirs taste absolutely delicious! Basically, I feel that for the quality you get here, you are paying way too much. So far, I felt this way about the few vendors I've tried so far. I get the need for a casual, to-go vendor, but I just don't get the high restaurant price points at a food court in Pinevile. Anyway, there are still a few more vendors I need to try...so maybe I'll see things differently? If based soley on the food (and drink) that I had at Ray Lay, I probably would have rated 1 star. But I didn't want to pull down the ratings for the entire food court since I've tried only a few vendors. I'll just keep the same ratings for now...but all I know is that Ray Lay is a vendor I'll be skipping this point on...unless things change for the better (meaning, better tasting foods and/or lower price points).

Hidden Gem BBQ & Noodles at the Asian Market…read more As a transplant to Charlotte for work -- and someone who is always on the hunt for the foods I grew up loving -- this food stall inside the Super G Mart extension in Pineville absolutely hits the mark. It does not disappoint. I have to agree with the former chef from Fahrenheit who once said they have some of the best char siu in town. Here, they call it honey BBQ pork, and it's served over rice with a soy sauce egg and pickled radish. It's simple, comforting, and incredibly satisfying -- the kind of meal that keeps you coming back. I've also tried their wonton soup, potstickers, chili oil wontons, and even the BBQ pork ribs à la carte. Everything has been consistently delicious. This is the kind of place where you can explore the menu over time and never get bored. A few practical tips for fellow shoppers and food lovers: * Parking is easy, and there's a separate entrance just for the food hall. * If you're shopping in the grocery store first, be aware that shopping carts aren't allowed in the food hall section -- so plan accordingly. * And my best advice: go hungry and eat before you shop. Trust me on that one. There's a whole wide world of food out there, and this spot is a great place to start eating your way through it. I'll definitely be back.

As soon as seeing Great Wall hanging Chinese roasted chicken and duck and pork, I have to try it. We got a whole duck, 1/3 of a scallion chicken (like poached chicken with scallion ginger sauce), 1/3 of soy sauce roasted chicken, and 1/3 of Chinese roasted pork. We love the chicken and roasted pork because they are juicy and tender, crispy pork skin balances well with tender meat and a bit of the fat in between. Roasted duck is of standard, nothing outstanding when compare to other places. Recommend anyone that is nearby and has craving for Chinese traditional BBQ.

We moved from the Richmond, VA area less than a year ago so we're still discovering all the places. My husband and I are GenX, so we are the Mall Rat generation - lost in a sea of the hot trend of "Town Centers", so we always check out malls to try to find ones that aren't on their last leg; filled with one-off trinket shops. We were in awe of this mall! It is full, it's big, it's lively, and it's got an awesome food court! It's like we stepped into a time warp and landed in the '90's; we felt like teenagers again! All the good stores are in here. The only thing I didn't see - and I may have just missed it - was a music store. I miss the old days of going and listening to new albums on headphones and talking to people as we dig through the CD racks. I got some of my best music recommendations that way. And with the resurgence of vinyl, that mall really would be a prime spot for a record store! If anyone ever decides to build a nursing home for us GenXers, just use this mall. All you have to do is take out the Southern Lion and put little rooms in there. You don't have to change anything else! 'Cause let's face it - we're not gonna go easy, so there better be a Spencer's and a Cinnabon wherever the youngin's put us.

I mean does any over 40 remember growing up to one of the best experiences of their childhood called a MALL? I do and sadly those days are slowly yielding way to Ecommerce, outdoor shopping centers designed for ease of access and speed, and new societal norms. Located in a safe area off of I-485 Carolina Place is a very nice place to take the family while shopping for all those modern needs or even for us older folks, a step back in memory lane. I mean gone are Radio Shack, Merry-Go-Round, Aladdin's Castle, KB Toys and Suncoast to name a few replaced by empty units or some places that have been able to maintain their leases like Belk (for those southern folks), Gamestop, Dicks and well you get the point. The main take away is I feel is the place is safe and has great natural light. I took my daughters and got their bathing suits at a place that will remain nameless one for $80 the other $60, but alas the discount brought both to $50 total. I'm ignorant of pricing at retail stores and how it works during the season but that was just weird to me. We wondered around, picked up some Auntie Anne's pretzel bites (our favorite) to nibble on while I took them to several stores which they loved including Hot Topic and Claire's. I really like the layout here, wide open. My favorite place to take my girls is the food court. We saw a huge line and while I hoped it was for multiple restaurants, nope I knew what it was for. Sarku had over 30 people in line while all the other stalls had one or two customers. All in all it took us roughly 20 mins to get our food. I'm curious what would happen if I dropped another Sarku in the food court? Anyways, they were SLOW but as always really good. So, when you're there I highly suggest Double Chicken Teriyaki w/ fried rice along with an extra scoop of sauce on the top. The chicken is nice and caramelized with a nice soy kick and fried rice, need I say more? All in all, I still cherish the mall and Carolina Place is holding up the tradition! While I wish all the units were filled, such as life these days. If you'd like to make a day of fun activities with the kids, I think you should consider stopping by, just make sure you hit the food court while doing your shopping!

I've tried several vendors by now, and so far, they've been more or less disappointing in taste, presentation and pricing (way overpriced). This place, however, hit all the right spots. We ordered the OG Smash Burger with Fries, and K-Street Egg Toast (w/ Ham), and Ginger Ale. Well, first of all, the pricing seemed fair ( food-court appropriate!)...something I can't say for some of the vendors I've tried so far. The burgers were more expensive than McDonalds, but less than that of a restaurant (as it should be!). Then their K-Street Toast was a STEAL. I say that because their Egg Toast was less than 7 bucks, yet Huge...so buttery, soft and fluffy too! Most importantly, these quality-packed burgers, egg toast AND fries were all absolutely delicious! Surprising...because you don't think Korean when you think of good burgers...but these burgers (and the fries!) were rich, savory and juicy...SO good! In fact, I'd put it right up there with Bang Bang Burgers and Ace #3 (my fave burger joints in town). Again, their K-Street Toast was quite the treat...it was luscious!! I'm already thinking about running back to try more items on their menu...like their Korean Chicken Sandwich and Bulgogi Cheese Fries. I'm not even a big fan of hand-helds, but this was the best meal I've had at this food court...and I didn't feel ripped off at the end of it!
