Let me just say! There's something for everyone on this incredible menu! We had been here once…read morebefore and I had the curry ramen-- it was so good we wanted to come back to try something new. This place is huge and the ambiance is great! The service was good as well we dined on the patio. We ordered tapa style, shared plates so we could have as much as possible! The twice fried Korean chicken? Amazing!! I recommend this method! Everything was AMAZING! I will say the Karaage comes with a side of mayo with a spice topped on it. Personally, I'm not dipping chicken in pure mayo and a siracha mayo would liven this dish up! The coconut shrimp looks underwhelming but the taste is delicious! The spring rolls taste so fresh and the roti is WORTH a few orders!! We will be back again!

We knew we had to adjust our expectations being from the Bay Area and the food landed just about where we expected. The service and vibe was awesome! We were here on a day the weather was just right and were able to enjoy an early supper outside. We ordered roti, fried rice (subbed tofu for egg) and the veg Buddha Belly dish. Everything was decent and we had plenty leftover for lunch the next day. The service was fantastic and we really enjoyed our conversation with the server.

Today I met a friend for lunch at YaMe. I was greeted by the staff when I entered and the…read morerestaurant was as very clean. The menu offers something for everyone. It was our first visit and we wanted to try the curry. We ordered the Thai Red Curry and the Thai Green Curry. Both were perfection! The red curry had just the right amount of spice to give it flavor, but not be too spicy hot. The green was mild, but flavorful. The dumplings were so good. These were both very good and we added shrimp and chicken. I believe they would be just a satisfying with only the vegetables. This is my go to place for Asian noodle dishes from now on...can't wait to sample more of the menu on my next visit.

They genuinely did not taste like chicken at all, and I couldn't even finish them. I strongly recommend staying away from that item. I also tried to order a bubble tea without ice and was told I'd be charged an extra $2 because they would need to "add more juice." I didn't ask for extra juice, just no ice!!! And charging extra for that feels unreasonable and borderline price gouging. Ridiculous!!!! Between the poor food quality and the frustrating service, the overall experience wasn't great, and I won't be returning.

Recently tried the karaoke room with a group of friends. We were in the K-Pop room with about 18…read morepeople (fits 25). It was a lot of fun but there are definitely some things that would have made this experience a little smoother for us. Overall, the price is very reasonable when split between the group. One very easy and good improvement would be to move the TV screen to the back of the room. It's positioned in the same area as the "stage" so everyone had to turn their backs to read the lyrics which just felt silly. For a room fit for 25, more mics are needed! I think it's 2 per room regardless of the size. The most frustrating part of our experience is that our YouTube queue was somehow shared with another room's. We would add songs, they would delete them. Random songs would show up in our queue, we would delete them. We didn't realize it until about 20 minutes in. When we told an employee about this, they weren't aware and didn't know what to do about it, but that's definitely something that needs to be sorted out for a better experience. Space-wise it's definitely pretty cramped although you could say that it made things more intimate. Food was good though! I've also had a lot of karaoke experiences where tambourines are included for added fun. Definitely wasn't expecting this, but that could be a fun addition! Overall I've had better karaoke room experiences but I would still go back again and recommend to anyone who's never done this before!

Came here with a group of ~20 friends to do a karaoke night. We had a lot of fun as a group, but…read morethe actual karaoke experience was not great. My feedback: 1. Add more mics in each room - there were only 2 mics in our room. When I did this style of karaoke before there were 5 or 6 mics so it was easy for the whole group to participate. Our room only had 2 mics. Yes we could share and everyone was able to sing along even if they didn't have a mic, but being able to sing into the mic and pretend you're a pop star while you're up on stage is part of the fun. 2. Rearrange the TV screens/furniture - the "stage" area is on the same wall as the TV, so whoever was singing had to turn their back on the audience to look at the words. 3. Fix the song queuing experience and train staff on how to use/troubleshoot - our group's songs kept disappearing from the queue, and we figured out about halfway through our session that there was a technical issue resulting in two different rooms adding songs to the same queue. When we asked the staff for help they had no idea how to fix the issue. These things are all pretty important to the karaoke experience, so we won't be coming back to this location. However, the rooms at the Noda location are set up a lot better, so we'll probably try there if we go again.

The music and energy of the room made the whole experience feel special. Super cute for Faye night or girls night. The sushi was outstanding and incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every dish we tried was delicious, and the cocktails were just as impressive. What made the night even better was the hospitality. The staff and owners were warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can tell this place was created with a lot of care. Amazing food, amazing drinks, and an amazing experience. I can't wait to come back to my new favorite spot.

Over the weekend, we got to check out this new Japanese fusion place in South End…read more.. As anticipated, the place was very pretty and posh...with a sleek color motif of black and pink (one of my fave combos!). Since the weather was so nice, we decided to sit in their patio area...very nice! Can't say I loved the playlist (a bit busy and random...everything from soulful lounge music and hip hop, to Donna Summers, Salt 'n Pepper, etc.etc.), but I loved the overhead volume...giving the place a festive ambiance. I just hoped that the music would be a tad more relaxing and sophisticated...but then, I get it. Am sure the vast majority of folks coming here are in their 20's or 30's. Service was good. I think both Managers-Owners (?) stopped by our table to check on us...and our waitress did her best. However, we did find it odd that we had to ask for soy sauce and wasabi with our Unagi nigiri order. Maybe this had something to do with it being a fusion place? As for the menu, there were several tantalizing and interesting options. My husband and I both decided to start with 2 orders of Unagi (as an appetizer). Then we agreed to share their signature dish, Lobster Fried Rice, as well as 2 sushi rolls, "The Genie" and "Kimchi Fried Chicken". We also finished our meal with their Panna Cotta (with Strawberry). Well, we both thoroughly enjoyed everything...but our favorites were the Lobster Fried Rice and the Panna Cotta. Sushi Rolls were good, but I felt I've had better? The Lobster Fried Rice, however, was possibly THE best Fried Rice dish I've had to date! The Panna Cotta was amazing too...just wished there were a bit more of it? BTW, I liked their cocktail, "Lotus Milk Punch"...but here's the thing. Despite the lofty price point, there just wasn't much of it...as there was this big block of ice taking all the space (just as with Whiskey drinks). Also, I didn't feel that it was strong enough. So here's where I dock a star. I feel that when a drink is this expensive (20?!?), it should be well worth it. Despite the good taste, it fell a bit short on its stingy portion and weak alcohol content. One other minus I must mention is the lack of parking here. You just have to drive around until you find a space along the road. It's a good thing we came early! Still, this is a great, new addition to Charlotte...and it's a cute spot for a date night or a girl's night out. I'd definitely wouldn't mind returning to try a few more items on the menu...and a repeat order of their amazing Lobster Fried Rice!
