First visit. Generous portions presented well. Low level of seasoning & salt to my liking. Sauces are ordered separately.

We ordered Be-Em for dinner while staying in the area. We ordered the combination plate and the kamikaze filet Kim chi fries. On the Door Dash app, they don't allow any modifications to most items, but we were able to call the restaurant directly and let them know what our modifications once the order was placed. That was awesome. The Kamikaze filet Kim chi fries were a little soggy, but the flavor was good. We are used to the beef being in strips or cuts of some sort, but this meat was ground, kinda strange, but still flavorful. For the combination plate, I chose shrimp and chicken with fried rice and mixed vegetables, hibachi style. Everything had great taste, and the portion was plentiful. The only thing was that the carrots were so overcooked, they were almost baby food. The broccoli, mushrooms, zucchini and onions were cooked perfectly.

We went in not knowing what to expect. The reviews have been mixed. But i decided that I would be open & order a few of the more popular items I saw on the menu. Let me tell you, the street tacos are absolutely amazing! Bursting with flavor, I have absolutely no complaints! Second, came the tuna nachos! Omg! Looks like house made, fried wontons were used as chips & these were delicious. I could've eaten just these & called it a day. Completely different flavor from the tacos, fyi. The poke bowl was next. They were not skimpy. It was loaded with tuna, crab & had 2 perfectly fried tempura shrimp on top. Yall, I highly recommend this spot! It's really a diamond. Oh! It's also self order, so streamlined everything. I didn't mind having to do my own order. The self service was actually really thorough. And the place is really well decorated. The decor is just beautiful.

Fruit teas, pho and great selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes.

My daughter and I came here for lunch. Every dish we ordered was not only delicious but also tasted incredibly fresh, especially the Pho noodles and fruits teas bursting with vibrant flavors. As a bonus, they have a lot of fantastic selection of vegan and vegetarian options. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the beautifully decorated atmosphere, especially the impressive tall ceilings created a sense of spaciousness and elegance. Having worked in a couple of Asian restaurants during my college days, I can honestly say that none of them offered the same level of fresh, tasty dishes that we experienced here.

I placed an order for 2 Hibachi meals and it was good. The customer service was excellent

It's Friday evening that a few friends ask to dine out. First time here for me. The place is clean and nice decorated. It's like a self service food court. Customers order over menu on an iPad, it's a new trend for new food places now. With a few categories of food and drinks. I chose a base recipe of rice with beef cost around $13, every add-on is a few dollar. All drinks range from close to $5 to start with. A bowl of beef rice with no addition cost $14 and a drink came up to almost $20. It's like a combination of Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese poke and even fried wings. It's a place for younger generations. As there was no other customers, we sit there for a longer time. Remember to clean up for the next customer. As an older lady with more experience in food, I didn't really enjoy the food even they are very colorful, and the place is comfortable to sit down.

the food was sooooo good very fresh the service is wonderful and I love the seating area and it looks beautiful in the inside 5 stars for it being my first time eating here and it's AMAZING

I've been here plenty of times and every single time. It's AMAZING! Theory Pho's are always very tasty, flavorful, delicious, and very filling. They do give you a very big portion, and I always can barely get through half of it. Definitely a bowl to share between two people I love their Kimchi fries. Fries have just the right amount of crisp, and they do not get soggy even with the kimchi, meat, and sauces that get poured on top. Their Vietnamese coffee is my go-to. Even if I dont buy any food, when I'm in the area, I will at least go in and get me a Vietnamese coffee. They have plenty of seating inside. They used to have normal cashiers working, but now they turned it into self check out. You go in, select your order from an iPad, and pay. If you have cash, you do ring a bell, and someone will come out, take your order, and then take your cash and come back with any change. I was pleasantly surprised to see they offer Afternoon Tea now! You just call and make a reservation! I'm excited to try that out. If you're in the area, please make your way here. You won't regret it.

I fell in love with this place the moment I saw a separate menu for vegan options. Absolutely convenient to pick vegan food from a place like this. Food was delicious and the quantity was great. We ordered vegan tofu ramen and vegan smoked ham and both were amazing. We ordered on yelp and was served in just 10 mins. Ambience is eye catching. Definitely recommend for my vegan fellows.

Food is consistently good! Great portion sizes, fresh food, fast delivery. The restaurant has a good ambiance as well. Friendly service. Fairly priced. I order from here often because Be-Em does not disappoint.

Good food, good (but cold) atmosphere, friendly staff. This location has changed over the years, but it always seems to have quality Asian fare. I was in the mood for Pho and Yelp lead me here. This location seems to do quite a bit of takeout, but the inside is inviting with tables, booths, and other lounge type seating. The crispy crab wontons were a miss for me, but the pho was delicious as was the Korean corn dog. You order on kiosks and the food is brought to your table. The ordering system Is pretty comprehensive, but could use a little more description. Tier's a lot of things in the menu that I'd still like to try and look forward to another visit in the future.

Went for lunch there was no wait, food was out in around 5 minutes! Self service kiosk and the food is brought to you. Good hibachi for a good price! Highly recommend the lunch portion.

Honestly, smart marketing move. If you're in a high foot-traffic area like Uptown Charlotte, putting your menu outside absolutely works because it pulled me right in. Just keep it updated and current, and people like me will absolutely stop and read it. Now onto the japchae, which is one of my all-time comfort foods. If you've never had it before, these are glossy Korean sweet potato glass noodles stir-fried with vegetables and sometimes protein. I ordered mine without protein because I just wanted the noodles to shine on their own. And shine they did. Perfectly cooked, lightly chewy, savory, comforting, and exactly what I was craving. I can never get enough japchae. Ever. I'm so glad MOA keeps it as a staple menu item because I would genuinely be upset if it disappeared. If you're newer to Korean food, japchae is honestly one of the best gateway dishes to start with. It's approachable, flavorful, comforting, and kind of the Korean cousin to pad thai in terms of universal appeal. The restaurant itself has a sleek Uptown vibe, and the location is super walkable if you live or work nearby. Parking Uptown can absolutely be annoying, so if you already happen to be in the area for work, a show, or meetings, it's definitely worth the stop. Charlotte, there's a big delicious world out there, and honestly, one of the nicest surprises about relocating here from Northern California has been discovering how good and diverse the food scene really is. So get out there and eat your way through it.

We ordered a huge variety of items, including the soups, the cheesy corn, bulgolgi, pork belly, chicken, squid... everything that looked interesting :) It was so very very tasty! Since my friends were newbies, I cooked all our meats which they loved watching happen. The team working that evening were so quick that they replaced our grill several times throughout the meal without any impact to our enjoyment. The soy vinegar pickles were also yummy. I would definitely come back again! The staff are also nice and they have great reviews for a reason. It was a lot of fun but there are definitely some things that would have made this experience a little smoother for us. Overall, the price is very reasonable when split between the group. One very easy and good improvement would be to move the TV screen to the back of the room. It's positioned in the same area as the "stage" so everyone had to turn their backs to read the lyrics which just felt silly. For a room fit for 25, more mics are needed! I think it's 2 per room regardless of the size. The most frustrating part of our experience is that our YouTube queue was somehow shared with another room's. We would add songs, they would delete them. Random songs would show up in our queue, we would delete them. We didn't realize it until about 20 minutes in. When we told an employee about this, they weren't aware and didn't know what to do about it, but that's definitely something that needs to be sorted out for a better experience. Space-wise it's definitely pretty cramped although you could say that it made things more intimate. Food was good though! I've also had a lot of karaoke experiences where tambourines are included for added fun. Definitely wasn't expecting this, but that could be a fun addition! Overall I've had better karaoke room experiences but I would still go back again and recommend to anyone who's never done this before!

From the premium cuts of meat to the impressive variety of side dishes and soups, every element is executed perfectly. Two things really set them apart: the meat portions are perfectly sized, and the variety of dipping sauces is on another level. Even during a busy service, the staff is attentive and the food comes out incredibly fast. Having traveled and eaten at top-tier spots in Los Angeles and New York City, I can confidently say this place holds its own against the best in the nation.

There are ample dining tables inside, but the parking lot is rather tight as it is shared with Seoul Food Meat Company. However, the restaurant does validate parking if you pay for parking so just let them know. The ambiance was not too loud, but it definitely gets busier at lunch or dinner times. I would say that the service was alright. It was nothing special. I found the servers who attended my table to be upbeat and friendly, but I kind of wanted them to come around a bit more and check in on us when we were running low on water or sides. My family mostly ordered the Premium Original Pork Belly and Fatty Beef Brisket along with some vegetables. The pork belly comes out in two strips, which makes it quick to go through. I personally enjoyed the pork belly. It tasted great with the sauces! I did not like the Fatty Beef Brisket that much because it was too fatty (I know the name includes "fatty" but it seemed like the fat to meat ratio on each brisket piece was 2:1 at times). My parents thought that the Premium Steak was tender, but it was a bit too salty for them. Since they are older, they are more careful about sodium intake but I understand that a lot of people prefer more salty foods. But I will say that I found the kimchi and corn cheese a bit salty so maybe it is more than just a taste palate issue. My mom wanted to eat hot pot, but my dad and I were too full to eat more and we were worried about the additional charge if she did not finish some of the food. Also, you cook the food yourself here! This might not seem interesting but at a lot of KBBQ places in Atlanta, the servers always cook for you (which can either be a pro or con depending you). There are not a lot of AYCE KBBQ spots in North Carolina compared to Georgia... where I have been the past few years... so I think my actual rating of this place would be 3.5/5 stars. If you can make the drive to Atlanta, I would go there because there are better options.
