Went well. Professional, prompt and competitive. Make gave me a very competitive quote and provided high quality work. Highly recommended.

I am the assistant manager at DDC Electric Supply in Riverside and I can tell you that Hearn Electric is an honest electrician that does the job right. Unfortunately a lot electricians will overcharge, cut corners and will take advantage of their customers but Mike is not like that. He always puts his customers ans their safety 1st. I strongly recommend using Hearn Electric if you need any electrical work done. Andy Villasenor Assistant Manager DDC Electric Supply Riverside, Ca read more

Mike did excellent work for us. We had several small projects that we just could not get to. Mike took his time, fixed what needed to be fixed and replaced what couldn't be fixed. All this at a reasonable price. It's so nice to have someone who has pride in running their own business and doesn't have to call "corporate" for every question. We will definitely use him again. read more

We have used Mike for many projects. He is an excellent electrician...with fair prices and a really nice guy too!

I have used MHearn Electric and home improvement for many of my home improvements over the last 4 years. Mike and his crew are dependable, professional and fairly priced. Mike has handled an insurance claim when my roof leaked to minor projects like putting up a couple sun sails. He did a complete upgrade to both of my bathrooms and upgraded my sunroom 3 years ago. He just recently completed a complete upgrade to my guest bathroom and I couldn't be happier with his work. I wouldn't recommend anyone else for my home improvement projects. Great workmanship Reliable and trustworthy.. read more

Mike was on time, quick and efficient. He was well organized and completed our job in a timely manner. We needed an electrical outlet for our RV and he made great suggestions that allowed us to replace our outdated pool switches and install the RV outlet at the same time. Friendly and Trustworthy. I would recommend his company every time electrical work is needed. read more

I was very happy with how Mike helped us out before on some small jobs, so it was a no-brainer to call him back for the bigger job of adding a sub-panel and several 120v/240v outlets to power my garage woodworking shop. I had a lot of ideas for what I wanted and it was great working with Mike to get it all planned out in a way that made sense and kept costs constrained. The work was completed as quickly as you can do anything during COVID times and I'm very happy with the final product. There was a bit of an issue turning the main power back on due to what turned out to be an existing wiring issue in another part of the house. He found and fixed the problem at no extra charge - for which I am very thankful. I would definitely recommend Mike to anyone and will certainly hire him again. Thanks Mike! read more

Mike and his Team are honest and the best in their trade. He did everything from creating extra shelves in our closets, repairing our old garage unit, installing our ring, surround sound system hook up to breaking down walls at my husband's workplace. He can do it all and more with great attitude and professionalism. Thanks M Hearn Electric! read more

Several times we have used Mike. Whenever there's an issue. We purchased our home a year and a half ago and needed several new lights, fixures and things done. Also, had several ideas of what is needed and Mike was able to quickly get it done. We only use Mike. He's friendly and knows his stuff. Installed my Tesla home charger, fixtures, patio ceiling fans, etc. He's the only contractor we feel comfortable having in our home... the kids know him. The dog knows him. Always a great experience with Mike! read more

Mike and Shane are real professionals, worked efficiently and completed our re-wiring of our garage and outside outlets exactly right. From our order being comfirmed by Sabrina, followup calls to comfirm arrival, finishing our job in record time, I couldn't be more pleased. Mike also did a clean, neat job with prior work done for my son and I contracted with Mike for my work. Five stars to M. Hearn Electric!! Mike S. read more

I'm hoping to change this review. Mike came and took measurements/discussed our project we want done - that was about 1 week ago. Seemed knowledgeable and friendly. Answered my questions and offered advice. I've yet to receive an email with the estimate that he said he would send. Left voicemail just now. Hoping to hear back soon. ETA: He had incorrectly typed our email, and quickly rectified the mistake. Had our quote within a few hours of me leaving this review. Appreciate his quick response. read more

I have used Mike Hearn services on two separate occasions and I must say, he is by far the best electrician I have ever encountered. The first time I requested his services it was to fix my porch lights, another electrician came a few days before Mike and this person was horrible. First of all, he charged me a travel fee and all he did is look at my porch lights and said that they needed replacement and was quoting me an outrageous amount. I told him I would consult with my husband, but this is not the bad part. He did not even look at my porch lights to see if he could fix them he just instantly wanted to do a major job and he charged me $120.00 for just showing up to tell me that I needed to replace them all (3 porch lights.) The reason why I went on about my bad experience is for people to get a perspective on all of the people out there that do not have work ethics or morals. Mike came and looked at the lights and he said some of the wiring was faulty and that he could fix them, it took him no more than couple of hours to get the job done and for a very reasonable price. I love businesses that truly care about their customers, it is so hard to find people like Mike. Needless to say I kept his information because he earned my trust. So we sold our home on 11/18/2019 and we had to get a socket fixed in the garage, I needed to get that fixed before escrow closed. I called his office and Sabrina understood my desperate need for Mike's services, I did not want anybody else and she was able to squeeze me in, thank you Sabrina! He come couple of days before the close of escrow and got everything looking good, again at a very fair price. Mike and Sabrina thank you from the bottom of my heart. Please use Mike for all of your electrical needs, you won't regret it. read more

I grew up in Moreno Valley (Sunnymead) from 1963, and I've known Mike for over 40 years. He has always been conscientious, honest and super capable. His work is excellent. He always does it right, which, with electrical is important, especially when the work is on a home that someone is renting from you. I need the peace of mind that it is up to code, safe and reasonably priced. With some types of work you can hire a handyman, but for electrical we choose Mike, and he's always worked with the same high standards. read more

Well, I must admit!! All of the wonderful reviews written here about M. Hearn Electric & Home Improvement....ARE TRUE! Initially I made an appointment with Mr. Mike Hearn, but he "No-showed." It turned out that there was a communication snafu. Mike was very apologetic and went way out of his way to make it right. Mike mounted my television and I am very pleased with, not only his work ethic, but his professionalism, attention to detail and pleasant demeanor. I was so impressed with his work that I'm hoping that he will help to complete a couple of additional home-improvement projects I have waiting in the wings. Great job Mike and Happy Holidays!!! read more

M Hearn Electric is a one of a kind service provider, providing unparalleled professional work! I hired this electrician to repair the wiring that had gone bad from an in home EV Charger installation. From the initial consult all the way to the completion of the repair, the service was nothing short of exemplary! Thank you M Hearn Electric for a job well done! I will be referring you to anyone I know in the area that requires electrical work of any kind, in their home!! read more

Installed lights over kitchen island. We love the outstanding work. This is the 2nd time we have used him.

This the 3rd time we have used Mike always professional and very clean. Never leaves a mess. We change what we asked for originally and he made no fuss and made the appropriate changes. Mike has done electrical panels for us, and 1 major bathroom remodel and just recently he did a shower remodel for us. Our dog Diesel loves him and was said to see him leave, he was very good with animals around him . read more

M. Hearn Electric responded quickly to my service request. He arrived on time, diagnosed, and repaired the problem in less than an hour. In addition, Michael was courteous in repairing another light switch that had a loose wire without charging me. Lastly, he diagnosed and repaired the problem is less than an hour, whereas a previous electrician from Yelp took several hours and wasn't able to diagnose the cause of the problem. M. Hearn Electric is honest and knowledgeable and I would recommend their services to my friends and family. read more

I contacted M. Hearn because of the 5 Star Yelps. My 85 year old mother lives in her home (she refuses to move) and suffers severely from dementia and will answer the door for anyone (so far been scammed by 2 groups of men!) and I needed asap to get security motion lights installed, a front door security screen door, cameras in the home and over the front door, etc., etc. He seemed great on the phone when I gave him the list of projects. He went over to my Mother's house to look it over. He emailed me that he was going to go ahead and order the security screen door (takes 4 weeks) and was working on the #s for an estimate. I didn't hear from him. I phoned him. I emailed him after over 4 weeks had gone by and got a "cut and dry" estimate back that stated upon receipt of deposit the screen door and materials would be ordered. ??? I won't even reply back to his email...why? Obviously he doesn't give a rat's derriere!!!! DON'T EXPECT TO GET FIVE STAR SERVICE. OR QUICK RESPONSE FOR YOUR PARENTS' SAFETY!! read more

Professional, courteous, prompt and reasonable. Mike Hearn is an exceptional electrician.

Communicative (a biggie for me), straight forward, reasonably priced, and quality work - had several outlets added to a garage, an outdoor outlet installed, lighting repaired and a disposal moved to where it was more effective. Mike did great work and will be my "go to" guy for all my home improvement needs. Thanks Mike! read more

I contacted Mike after having a horrible week of dealing with highly unprofessional people who failed to show up for appointments or were never on time and up to 2 hours late. Mike was able to respond the next business day, was prompt, professional and very honest and reasonably priced. He repaired a wooden gate for our rental property that was in horrible shape and did a great job. I will be contacting him again for several upgrades that I would like done to my new home. He is very trustworthy!!!!! read more

After dealing with an unprofessional crew that left my home a mess, I contacted Mike. He was timely, respectful, and did wonderful work. He and his crew cleaned up after the job, leaving my back patio more tidy than when they arrived. I wish I had contacted Mike from the beginning, instead of wasting time with another crew. I would absolutely use Mike again and recommend his services to everyone. read more

Mike was prompt and did this simple job quickly and answered all my questions. I only have great things to say about Mike. He did such a great job fixing the lights in our kitchen. Plus he fixed a bunch of annoying little things that had broken around the house over time. Where other companies had given us such a hard time to do little jobs such as stabilize a wobbly toilet, fix flickering lights, hang curtains, etc. Mike came and did them with no problem. You could tell he takes pride in his work and was nice enough to even teach us how to do a few things in case we ever needed to know for the future. Great customer service and quality work. read more

After seeing all the good reviews for M Hearn, I decided to give them a try. Mike came the next day to give me an estimate for the electrical work I needed. Very impressed by his work. Will use again. read more
