After I posted my original review, the owner personally came back to my home to make things right. He offered to refund the $100 price difference, but I declined because I didn't feel it was fair after the work had already been completed. Instead, he replaced two breakers that genuinely needed replacement at no charge. I really respect a company that stands behind its work and makes the effort to address a customer's concerns. While I still believe the pricing options should have been explained upfront, I also believe it's important to recognize excellent customer service when a business takes responsibility and follows through. The project included 15 Ethernet drops across six rooms and 1900 sq ft, audio speaker wiring, and height speaker installation. The work turned out very well overall. What stands out most was Rick's accountability to the job and for the work of his crew. He was communicative, kept me informed throughout the job, and made absolutely sure any issues I had were addressed. Rick's team also tested every cable run with a Fluke tester and verified that each run was properly shielded and capable of 10 Gbps performance. They were also attentive to the smaller cosmetic detail requests, including cable color, outlet style, and the specific placement of wall jacks. Although just about everything is expensive nowadays, the pricing for the scope and quality of work was reasonable. Doug is fantastic. I'll start by saying he came over my house and discovered my problem I had immediately. He replaced my breaker that went bad. He solved my 240 volt EV charging port within minutes. I am able to charge my EV car now from home and go to work tomorrow. He charged me a great price for his electrical expertise. I'm hiring him for 2 future projects. He's replacing my existing 240 wall outlet and installing a ChargePoint 20-80 Amp 240 wall mount unit. I'm going to pay a little bit extra and go with an 80 amp. I'll be charging at much more faster time due to Doug's experience and knowledge. I'm also having him do my kitchen lights above my counter. He's going to do all the wiring and electrical work. He's given me an extremely reasonable quote. I am definitely keeping Doug's number in my contacts for any of my electrical needs. As a paying customer, we shouldn't have to supervise their staff and then pay extra for their mistakes. We even had to supply them with additional parts to fix the issue! Thomas insists that the additional cost he charged us was partly due to shopping for parts, but gathering the tools and supplies for a project is obviously a prerequisite for any paid electrician. He even threatened to pull his electricians from the job if we didn't agree to pay the additional fee. I am appalled with the way he spoke to my father and I am definitely not satisfied with the added cost and stress that was a direct result of their service. Picture attached is the end result of the work, exposed wire, holes, overall, just a mess. Thomas can make all the excuses he wants, but he's not worth the risk for work done to your home.
