He's pretty booked up which he told us about in advance but it wasn't a problem to wait a few weeks considering the issues were old themselves. Robert came to do the estimate as promised, sent it, I approved and he came to do the work this week. We are SO impressed with the quality of his workmanship and attention to detail. Everything looks perfect and more importantly we now won't have leaking or damage when the rains come. He matched the paint perfectly and did really beautiful repair work on our front door. As he was doing the front door repair he noticed that the weather stripping seals were bad, so he let me know and replaced those too. He also replaced a latch on a slider that's been broken for a while, repaired a garage side door with terrible weather stripping, installed a couple of new electric lights that have not worked for a year and took care of a long to do list that we are not skilled enough to do ourselves. Everything was great about his work, communication, scheduling and timing. His prices are reasonable for what he had to do. We're really pleased with the end result and the whole process. I had asked him to install a Tesla wall charger, but since I'm completely new to this, I made the mistake of not purchasing the charger ahead of time--I thought it was included with the installation (oops!). I was pretty bummed when I realized he couldn't proceed without it. Thankfully, I was able to purchase the charger the same day, and Nick was kind enough to come back later that same day to install it. That level of flexibility was amazing--I was so relieved I didn't have to reschedule. On top of that, he identified several burnt-out breakers and fixed them at a very reasonable price. He also recommended adding a surge protector, which I decided to go with. Overall, I felt really taken care of. When the technician arrived, he recommended upgrading to an EV-specific outlet, explaining it was the better choice. I appreciated the recommendation, but I was disappointed that it increased the price by $100. I felt that option should have been discussed during the initial phone calls so I could make an informed decision before the appointment. After I posted my original review, the owner personally came back to my home to make things right. He offered to refund the $100 price difference, but I declined because I didn't feel it was fair after the work had already been completed. Instead, he replaced two breakers that genuinely needed replacement at no charge. I really respect a company that stands behind its work and makes the effort to address a customer's concerns. While I still believe the pricing options should have been explained upfront, I also believe it's important to recognize excellent customer service when a business takes responsibility and follows through. They upgraded my NEMA 6-50 to NEMA 14-50 and also found out one of my breaker is going bad. They upgraded EV plug, changed out the breaker and added a surge protector.
