Ill be using him again real soon for some upgrades inside my home, dimmer switches, hallway lighting as well as new plugs. read more

JB Electric was able to come out and fix our problem the next day. Not only were they quick but also very friendly and knowledgeable. James was great! Thank you JB Electric! read more

I can't say enough about the quality and professionalism of JB Electric. He did a lot of work at our place by adding ceiling fans to 3 rooms and changing out a light fixture in our home. Not only did he do quality work, but he did a great job of cleaning up after himself as he went along. I was kept up-to-date on every aspect of the work before he did it in each room. I felt I got good value for the price of the work that JB Electric performed. I will hire this company again for all of my electric needs from here on out. read more

We had an excellent experience with JB Electric. They were very responsive to a request for a quote. The quote was fair. Once we requested the service they quickly got us on the schedule and completed the work. They were careful to wear mask around us and while on the house. I would definitely use them again if the need arises. Professional and highly recommended. read more

This company is very nonprofessional The office manager is nasty They were belittling to out tenant about us the landlord They refused to go out unless we signed a $135 contract to go out and determine problem after we used their service numerous times and always paid on day of service. The contract was emailed and had to be signed and emailed back We were out of town for holidays Requested James to personally call us regarding this issue and we have yet to hear from him We called another company and delighted with how courteous and prompt they were I definitely would discourage using this family owned business. read more

This review is overdue. I had JB come up to our house in Idyllwild to install an interlock system on our main so that I could run a generator when the power goes out (happens a lot up here on the mountain). They were absolutely fantastic. Communication was super good, work was timely and very professional, and they didn't even get upset after getting their truck stuck in the snow on our little non-country road. =) I have recommended to MANY people in the community up here and will continue to do so. read more

Had them add external outlet for generator. Next day SCE turned off power...great timing! All looks good and worked flawlessly

Excellent service. Techs are very knowledgeable. Made my repairs at a fair price. Was at my house with two hours after I called. Extremely happy customer. I have used them a few times and definitely won't use anyone else. Highly recommend. read more

Had James from J B Electric come out and retrofit 10 new LCD recessed lights to replace builder installed compact fluorescent recessed lights throughout the house. James also replaces five direct wired smoke alarms for me. The whole process went very smoothly from quoting over the phone to installation. James is the owner/ operator of the company and he did an excellent job. He cleaned up after himself and didn't leave a spec of dirt behind. He has over 30 years in the business and really knows his stuff. I would highly recommend him for any residential or commercial work. read more

Just had my Tesla wall connector installed. Gotta say they were really flexible with me because it was initially going to be just a 240v outlet, but then I decided to purchase the wall connector and was running them around with the appointment date. But they were easy to work with and when the day came James put it up in no time exactly where I wanted it with no trace of any work inside or out - like it was part of the house from the get go! Definitely have my recommendation! And hit me up when if you want that test drive I offered! read more

Requested a quote through yelp from multiple electricians to install a Ring floodlight and JB Electric responded right away and gave me the best quote. They were able to schedule me the next day. The team arrived on time and did a quality job with the installation. Overall would highly recommend them for those in need of an electrician! read more

I had my Tesla Wall Charger installed by James and his assistant Hareef! They were early to the appointment and very professional. I had called around before choosing JB Electric to install my Wall Charger and they were not the cheapest installer for my project BUT they were the only ones that talked about getting a permit from the city!! They were finished with the installation much quicker than expected and I was very pleased with the installation. Excellent communication with the customers through their helpful office assistant and via text from the Electrician himself!! I would definitely recommend JB Electric for all you needs! read more

I don't have a good track record with electricians either showing up or knowing their job. These guys are great. Their response time is quick and they were able to give me a price quote over the phone. James expertly changed out the 120v to 240v. We ran into a glitch after he left but, again, the response was quick. He came back the very next day and fixed the problem. I can't say enough good things about this company from their communication to expertise in their field. Hire them. You won't regret it. read more

We are so thankful that we found James to do our electrical work. Other companies either didn't show up, were late for appointments or were overpriced. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and just an all around nice person to do business with. You won't be sorry if you choose him for your electrical work. read more

James and his assistant just finished installing 8 LED lights in my kitchen and bathrooms. James installed an outlet in my garage and added a circuit breaker for it. First I queried electricians in my area using the Yelp website function, and James was very quick in responding. He was able to come the next day and install it within an hour. Moreover, the price was excellent. Best of all was James' great attitude, I'd hire him again and recommend him to all my friends. read more

Seriously? These guys are GREAT. My rental property had some electrical issue and was afraid it was going to cost me a fortune. They go out there right away (inquired late at night and they were at the property at noon next day). They take a look and had to call the city because the problem was much bigger than anticipated. Uh oh I am thinking 'there goes my tax money.' They spend nearly an entire day fixing it and invoice me less than 500 including parts. My house could have caught on fire. Thanks for going out there and fixing the issue right away. Keep it up!! read more

James completed some significant work in my house. Hung a chandlelier, hung exterior post lights, installed ceiling fans. His team was truly professional and did a great job! Definitley would recommend him and his team to anyone. Fast service, great price, reliable, and thorough follow-up. Picks up the phone and responds everytime. Impressive. read more

JB Electric came out to hook up our spa. He gave a quote one day and came to do the job the very next day. He is punctual, works quickly, and cleaned up what little mess he made. We were very happy with his service and the job that he did for us. The price was less than the other estimates that we got (to be fair the others did not come to the property, they gave generic quotes over the phone) but still a very reasonable price. read more
