Every time, he has been reliable, knowledgeable, and efficient. It's hard to find someone you can trust, but David (and Espy's Electrical services team) is definitely our go-to electrician. Bottom line: I wouldn't recommend Doug unless low cost is top priority…read more Pros: He is less expensive than most; recessed lighting and undercabinet lighting looks great. Cons: When updating outlets, he missed getting the wire into the proper hole leaving an open circuit, and rather than debugging his work he blamed it on the electrical panel. Several replaced outlets and switches were not completed where tolerances were challenging and/or spacers were needed. He refused to come back and finish the scope of work to which he agreed so I had to buy tools and do it myself. Another electrician who came later pointed out areas where Doug's work was not to code: exposed wire nuts in garage wall without junction box and improper connections to recessed lighting in attic.

It's very rare these days to find a contractor or technician that you honestly can't find anything…read morenegative to say about, and Anthony of AP Electrical Services is definitely one of them! From the very beginning, Anthony was flexible with scheduling, professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about his work. I was having problems with several light fixtures due to ballast issues, and Anthony helped convert the lighting in both my front patio and kitchen to LED ballast-bypass. He did an excellent job, and everything came out great. What I appreciated even more was that Anthony didn't just come in, do the job, and leave. He took the time to explain what he was doing and even taught me what type of replacement bulbs I would need in the future. Since the particular ballast-bypass bulbs can be difficult to find locally, he was even kind enough to lend me some spare bulbs until I could purchase the correct ones. That kind of thoughtfulness and customer service really stood out to me. I would highly recommend AP Electrical Services to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy electrician. Anthony is very reasonable with his pricing and straightforward when quoting a project. Most importantly, you get the feeling that he genuinely wants to solve your electrical problem and take care of his customers--not find ways to unnecessarily increase the bill. If you're looking for an electrician who is knowledgeable, dependable, honest, and reasonably priced, give Anthony at AP Electrical Services a call. You'll be in good hands. I will definitely be calling him again for any future electrical work!

Nick was the first to respond within minutes...at 8 o'clock at night! We FaceTimed him (after seeing all of his five star Yelp reviews) to show him our problem, and he gave immediate advice, which we followed. He said he would be out first thing in the morning. He was! We had to replace a few circuits that were fried and decided to do a full breaker box maintenance (to prevent this from happening again) because it probably hadn't been serviced...ever...in 25 years. Nick went far over and above expectations. He threw in upgrading a garage outlet while he was here and put in a whole house surge protector at a very discounted rate since we went with the full breaker box maintenance package. Our breaker box now looks and works like it is brand new. His work comes with a two year warranty! Nick was extremely personable and honest. I added him to my contacts because we will be contacting him with any future electrical issues. In short, there is a reason for all of the five star reviews, you will rate him with 5 stars as well when call him for service, I guarantee it!

done in a jiff…read more Sent out a request for a tesla wall connector installation via yelp. A reason why i went with this company is that they are licensed .... which i did double check and they do have a C10 which is for electrical. Also, they did answer with regard to how much a particular job would be. Originally, we had an after lunch timeslot... I requested if there was a possibility of a morning one the day prior... Thankfully, they were able to come on over and accommodate. So that's a plus. When they arrived, Nick was respectful and straight to the point. He pointed out some items that were needed to be addressed... and upgraded... Felt like an upsell but i do understand that when it comes to keeping a house safe, you gotta do what you gotta do and hopefully you get what you paid for. They offered to 1. do grounding.... 2. and also to install a surge protector.... 3. to change parts of the breaker that were damaged or cooked and not rated properly 4. Patch up the dry wall. 5. In addition to installing the tesla wall connector. Now originally, i just wanted to have just my tesla wall connector installed. The price for such is pretty affordable and comparable to other electricians. Unfortunately, with all the other things that needed to be done... the price exponentially increased. Good thing, they offered different modes of payment,.... like credit, debit, check, and even zelle. Since the bill was a pretty penny, he did mention doing a 60amp rather than a 50amp for the tesla wall connecter and making sure that all connections are up to code. I assumed from the beginning that it's supposed to be a 60amp since that is what the wall connector is rated for... In any case..... They got here at 8:43 am and were done by 10:07.... pretty quick and fast. I did like that Nick showed me the issues and also showed what they did and he assure me that everything is up to code. They sent an invoice via email and i paid them via check . Edit 2 weeks after: I have messaged them to cash the check i gave. They replied and promised that they will the following day but still hasn't ... i told them that I would be changing accounts .... Looking back, i think i should have asked for a breakdown of the services with the prices for each. They gave me an initial proposal of installation for a charge of : 300 usd. (50amp then 60amp) Then offered a surge protector for 350usd... Then said.... said let's make it up to code and charged me a total of 2,500.... for changing of fuses and putting a ground .... they didn't give a price but total was 2,500 USD. So i'm assuming that 2,500-650 =1,850 was for all that. Tbh, looking back... i felt that i overpaid...and upon asking around, apparently I did. I should just paid them for installation and that's it. And yes, they did ask for this review to be put out... hence, i'm editing it so that i'm writing it truthfully.
