Recently, I was given two beautiful old lamps. However, the shades have seen better days. LOL... I decided to invest in new lampshades. LampsPlus.com had the perfect style and size. I ordered R2994 - Springcrest Creme Bell Curve Cut Corner Lamp Shade 11x18x15 (Spider). I received the shipment within a few days. The shades were covered with a lot plastic for protection. Bought eight ceiling fans from LP for about $4K. A few (like 3) years later, the lamps malfunction. Spent over 90 minutes on phone with LP technical support only learn that I need spare parts for the fans that I cannot get any more because the ceiling fans are no longer made. Short story short, this was pure BS. The receivers **ARE** available through Amazon, but I wasted hours and hours of my time and a few $$ with an electrician trying to figure it out. What poor service from LP. I will never buy from LP again. read more

I'm always very pleased with the staff at this location. Since it is an outlet store, the selection is usually one of a kind, but they are able to order whatever you need for full price. So, you get best of both worlds - outlet and non-outlet availability. I like the mirrors, lamps, and nick-neck. Having said this, Lamps Plus does not carry regular or better quality furniture. But, if you need furniture in a pinch and your budget is limited, Lamps Plus outlet prices is a good bet. I would never buy furniture at full price because it does not merit the prices. Keep in mind that this location is a working warehouse that does not have air conditioning in the summer. Now that most lights are LED, the heat indoors is not as bad as it once was. I drove an entire hour to make a return and purchase new items, Valerie displayed exceptional customer service and even helped with suggestions for my lighting. I came to return 5 Lamps I purchased a week ago, since these were a gift to my dad for his new Patio. Since, dad changed his mind, he went with a different lamp style. Michael was very outgoing and eager to help over the phone and in person. There's not a lot of people like Michael who can multitask having several customers in line and still give you all the attention. My wife and I have been coming to this store in Redlands for years and have always found amazing deals, most of which we bought for a fraction of the retail price. We recently bought a pillar light fixture for only $49.99 (list price $199.99). The store also had a special buy one, get one free promotion at the time, so we also got a Marseille wall light fixture (list price $229.99) for free. Two fixtures for only $49.99. What a deal! The store has many helpful and friendly employees, but one person that really stood out for us is Valerie McGriff. She helped us resolve our issue with one of the fixtures we bought from the store. I was trying to install the rubber gaskets inside the fixture when one of the glass panes broke. The glass pane is out of stock and won't be available until August. Valerie came to our rescue. She remembered seeing some glass panes in the back of the store that could be used for my light fixture. Since the glass pane was slightly larger, she suggested taking it to a glass shop or buying a glass cutter to trim the glass pane ourselves. She gave us three glass panes in case we break the glass on our first try to cut it. I was quite amazed and pleased with the customer service that we received from Valerie. She is a joy to deal with and I can tell that she enjoys helping her customers. read more

We visited the riverside location. It was a waste of time they had nothing in stock and didn't want to help me and basically said everything is in Redlands. I took off work to make it during business hours, which was the only downside of the experience and came to Redlands. I bought a ceiling fan eight years ago and now it's time to install it on the addition and we're looking for the fan blades and we can't find them so I called Lamps Plus and they told me that that was discontinued but they had one more there and there were willing to give me the fan blades for free went down there picked them up got home and realized they were buried underneath the table so I called them and told them I'd bring them back.
