We had a project involving re-staining our spa which I could find no one to do. Matt popped up as I was looking for handyman that had painting in their profile. I put in a request for estimate and Matt responded same day. He gave me a quote but needed some more information on part of it. We agreed for him to come over the following Monday even though he said we lived outside of his circle of coverage. Surprised because I was searching in my zip code but am very happy we connected with Matt. Matt showed up on time on Monday and ready to go to work. We needed the spa cover re-stained and a platform to raise up the cantilever umbrella that goes over it so we can put it up and down without taking off the spa cover. I wanted to take a moment and share how unsatisfied I was with the way Matt handled me when I inquired about some repairs. I had to leave Two massages to get any response. He looked at the repairs needed and proceeded to criticize the installation. Not knowing my deceased son was a plumber and did the installation himself and when I mentioned that it didn't seem to even effect him. We agreed that he would come a week later and that he wanted me to send him a text reminder. SHARP BUSINESS MAN. No pen or desire to log the appointment. I did send him a reminder even though I thought it was odd that I had to do his scheduling for him. One week later I had again sent him a text to mention that I possibly had more work for him. So he responded a couple of days later saying he didn't go to Yelp messaging very often and that he didn't feel confident to do the repair. This was a week later meanwhile I have a leaking water filter all this tome waiting for the appointment day. So now he ask me to call him so he can tell me he's not coming. I told him the I was disappointed and that I had some other work to make it worth his while. He responded that he would be happy to do the other jobs BUT NOT THE WATER LEAK. Terrible business man. I WOULD NOT HAVE THIS MAN COME TO MY HOME EVER AND WORK FOR ME... one sided doesn't care about building his business and having happy customers obviously. I found another man who also had a very busy schedule BUT agreed to stop by that night on his way home from another job and did the repair perfectly in Lee's then one hour ..
