My vehicle needed very little body work and paint. Mr. Deen (owner) informed me that due to his current workload he wouldn't be able to perform the work at the present time but suggested that I continue to communicate with him on a biweekly basis to see when he be able to paint my car. On Monday, March 14, 2022, Mr. Deen told me to bring my car on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, so he could start painting my vehicle. He also informed me that it would take two weeks to complete the paint job. Well, that was true, every two weeks I would drive by his shop and speak with Mr. Deen regarding when he will start working on my vehicle. Mr. Deen informed me that the work will start the following week, this practice continued for almost two months. I also noticed that my vehicle was being parked in an isolated area and no work had been started. After two months of these lies, I displayed my frustration and I informed Mr. Deen if he wasn't able to work on my vehicle, I will take my vehicle back home until he has the time to start the work. Mr. Deen promise me that he will assign two employees to finish my vehicle. After several weeks, I finally received my car on June 3, 2022. However, after inspecting my vehicle I was not pleased with the workmanship. I found several scratches and some defect paint area. Also, the vehicle wasn't sand down or polished. I was informed by Dennis (the Painter) that they have to give the paint enough time to cure before they can't sand down and buff and polish the car. Today (June 21, 2022) after 3 weeks I went to the auto shop to make an appointment so my vehicle could be completed, and I was informed by the Painter (Dennis) that the owner will not complete the job because I complaint to much about the paint job and the 2 1/2 months that took to complete. I informed Dennis that my vehicle was not an insurance job, I was paying cash and my receipt indicated my payment and what was left to be done. Since Mr. Deen has instructed the workers not to accept my vehicle and complete the job, I have no other choice but to take this matter to small claim court in order to resolve this matter.
