He advised me that there's plenty of options that might help the problem, at great expense, but nothing will fully solve the problem. This is one of very few occasions where I encountered someone I know I can fully trust and isn't out there just trying to take someone's money. I will definitely call Bill for my construction needs when I do need them!

They communicated early and often as the project progressed, which kept us right on schedule. We came in on budget too (with any overages being our decision to go beyond the allowances). That level of organization immediately gave me confidence. During my consultation, Bar exceeded my expectations. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and clearly has extensive experience in remodeling. I especially appreciated his straightforward, honest approach. Rather than simply agreeing with every idea I had, he took the time to explain the pros and cons of different renovation options and offered thoughtful recommendations based on both function and long-term value. What really stood out was that he identified several important considerations that none of the other contractors I met with had even mentioned. His expertise was evident throughout the entire appointment, and I left feeling much more informed about my project. If budget weren't a factor, I would have hired D&L Builders on the spot. Unfortunately, I have several home projects underway and need to stay within my overall budget. Bar also treated me like I didn't know anything and kept asking me if there was another decision maker in the house (I told him several times it was my decision alone). He talked down to me and tried to convince me not to do my kitchen remodel because it's being done out of necessity (I broke my oven door) despite me saying I've hated this kitchen since I moved in over 5 years ago. Edit to owner: I told Bar multiple times I am the only decision maker and he kept questioning me. I also told him 3 times this project is something I've been wanting for over 5 years and was going to be a next year project, which got moved up by me breaking my oven door. I knew what I wanted and shared that with Bar. There's no reason he should have been trying to convince me to get things I explicitly said I did NOT want. That's not listening to your potential customers. I had consultations from 5 contractors and D&L is the only one that quoted me over $10,000 for the same scope of work. It doesn't matter that it was split between 2 quotes because it was still $18,000 more than every other contractor ($14,000 for adding new countertop, sink, oven (not including material) and $14,000 to sand and restain cabinets and drawers). My consultation with D&L is also the only one where I didn't feel like I was being listened to despite repeating myself multiple times. Just because I didn't hire D&L doesn't mean I'm not able to share my experience.

We had several unanswered calls into the owner; when we did speak to Bobby about repositioning the louvers he did not offer to reverse the louvers. Instead, we understood they would come back out to our part of town for $1600 worth of a day's work. Bottom line, it was not worth the owner's time to come back unless we spent another $1600 of handyman work. A/S said they could do it and work with my insurance company. I had never filed a claim before and they told me what to expect & how things were likely to go. Despite many delays in insurance payments they waited patiently. The A/S CEO and his staff were friendly, very supportive and frequently answered questions and earned my trust. They repaired the very large hole in my ceiling and did a great job and replaced my kitchen cabinets. I was happy with them and I think you would be as well.

Come to find out that Alex didn't schedule the appointment that we made with him nor did he have the correct address. It's unfortunate because we had initially contacted him because of the good reviews.
