Perfect for breakfast on the go! Customer service was very accommodating and appreciated

Found this spot on yelp, and saw good reviews and tried it today for the first time. Picked up a dozen donuts on my way to work. Service was quick and the donuts were amazing. Soft and warm.

I've driven by this little hole in the wall many times and never noticed it next to KFC. Stopped by on a rainy Saturday around 11am to grab snacks for my colleague and me. I was shocked to see that there wasn't many donuts available. They all seemed dark in color and didn't look very appealing in the case. However, looks are deceiving. The glazed twists were soft and perfectly sweet. They have a drive-thru if you don't want to walk in.

Happy birthday Ashton

They did a great job on my son's birthday donuts ....the donuts were delicious and the kids loved them

Some of the best donuts I ever tasted! I ordered custom donuts for my son's birthday. Donuts were ready for pick up and were very fresh! I will be ordering custom donuts again. Happy National Donut Day (I'll be picking up donuts today)!

They came out wonderful and taste delicious. Love this place. Love supporting local black owned businesses. Even though I was late, they stayed behind until I picked up my order. They were so great about it. Will definitely be definitely coming back for more orders. They were able to do it next day. How awesome

Custom ordered donuts for baby sissy's 34th birthday! Thank you Tamika. You're awesome!

Glaze donuts are very similar to Krispy Kreme and it's in Compton. Support local business!

A little courtesy could go a long way. Doughnuts were just alright. I like to support us but sometimes it's not worth the trouble.

Fresh, and tasty light and not greasy at all. We tried the old fashioned, glazed, cinnamon roll and apple fritter.

While driving home, we noticed this coffee shop and I'm so happy we decided to stop by!…read more Coffee 8/10 We ordered an iced cafe de olla and a quad Ibarra mex mocha. Both were soo flavorful. I will say, the cafe de olla is very spice forward. I taste a lot of cloves and star anise. A bit different than others I've had but I really liked it. The mex mocha was smooth and rich. I did see that their slushies are highly rated and now that it's getting hot, we'll def be back to try them! Food 10/10 They don't have food items on their menu but there are baked goods! We ordered a cream croissant looking muffin and a chocolate chip cookie. Both were warmed up and were absolutely delicious. Vibes/Ambiance : 10/10 We came on a Friday morning and it wasn't too busy. There were people working there as they have free wifi and outlets. The decor and vibe is cute! They have art on the walls, pictures, plants, community flyers/events, and statements that make you feel safe and at home. The staff is so friendly and welcoming too! There is a little parking lot right next to the shop and we didn't find it hard to find a spot. There is a park next door so I can imagine on the weekends, parking might be a bit tricker. Loved that we found a local gem like Patria and will def be back!

Menu is simple with the classics (espresso, americanos, cappuccinos, and lattes) and some speciality coffees like the Ibarra Mex Mocha. Prices are pretty reasonable - especially for the quality. It was busy when I went in so wait time was about 10-15 mins after ordering. I also bought one of their syrups - not really sure how much I paid for it but maybe about $15? That was a little pricey but the taste was good too. A little heavy on the spices, but I prefer it.

The panini was my favorite, i was so crunchy on the outside but the inner bread was somewhat soft and the inner chicken was amazing. I got their hazelnut coffee latte with oatmilk and out of several coffee shops ive had, I have not tasted anything like this. The flavor was a good blend of sweet and coffee bean savory. It was really great, I was surprised. Service was outstanding, the owner was super welcoming and sweet. It felt like a cozy little nook at home. Staff checked in to see how we were doing and if there was anything we needed. Me and my friends felt very welcomed.

And the time we waited for two drinks was 28 minutes from the time we got in line, (with no one ahead of us in line) not worth it at all The girls were friendly but they were not efficient in service. They advertise chisme in form of little post it notes but you can't actually write any chisme in yourself. They might have run out of post it notes but who knows. The coffee shop was pretty and low lit which I appreciate but it was very small and felt kind of cluttered. They have outdoor seating tho. Paid $18.58 just to toss my coffee in the trash.... Im a bit of a coffee snob so please take this review with a grain of salt.

Love the nook but sad about today's experience and I'm most likely not coming back for a while…read more Going to come back when I feel a lil' bit better since they do make pretty good beverages matcha or coffee both always come out consistent. Today was mother's day and the Enclave was busy with a lot of people. They were busy too but the time I came, the line was not to the outside window as usual and stayed indoors so it was a steady type of busy. I ordered my island matcha and sat to wait with my dog, until I just noticed the people behind me just getting their drinks first, then another, then another.. A family came in and got greeted, that was cute, probably regulars, their orders were taken and promptly made. Nice. But then the next ones also were getting made--huh? Where's mine? I thought they might have had some online orders? I was still sitting patiently in front of the pick up counter because I didn't want to bother the obviously busy lady that's super locked in. I worked in food before too, so sometimes I get that some tickets go in front of others and the steady locked in flow of the line was really cool to observe but this was a little bit too weird since--oh another one got his drink right after ordering. My husband finally regrouped with me inside because we also had ordered from the Fish grill, the order was done from fish grill, but I was still there wondering what happened to my drink from Nook--maybe syrups needed to be refilled? Maybe steeping tea?? Idk but at this point I was getting sad since I just saw another walk away with their drinks after just ordering. I sigh, my husband asks me what's wrong. I show him my phone showing the receipt of when I ordered and he noticed it's been a while and he also saw another walk away who just ordered with a drink in hand already. So he goes up to ask them if the island matcha came out. A guy from the line sees the order number, goes to their ticket tablet and makes my matcha drink in less than 5 seconds (I mean it, they're super quick). My husband beckons me to grab my matcha and I come up silently to grab it and leave with another sigh. Drink tastes great. Though the just making the drink quickly and not acknowledging/apologizing that something went wrong was kind of sad since I already felt disregarded in the first place. As I walked away I heard that my ticket just somehow didn't show up but sigh. I wish someone checked on me if I was waiting on anything. I know it's on me too for not speaking up, but I trusted the process. I thought they didn't forget about me. I was wrong. I burnt my favorite mixing bowl today, we got turned away from my fav restaurant for lunch because they were full and we just happened to be the one behind the last queue that got accepted today. I made yucky bitter matcha today. Went here to make my day better but it added more fuel to the fire. :C Sigh. See you in a while Nook. Me sad. Happy Mother's day to all moms today though.

Huge ups to coffee shops that make their syrups in house with real ingredients and it really shows through in the drinks. He even let me try the syrups - I had the blueberry, biscoff, rosemary and fig syrup. All were so good but I think what was really unique was what my partner got which was the blueberry chai. I ended up getting the rosemary fig latte which was earthy and interesting. The space is huge and there's tables in the front and there's a speakeasy spot in the back for people to hang. Now, the drinks: Me: Dirty Biscoff Chai Latte w/ oat milk + espresso shot 10000/10. I asked for light ice and the barista actually checked with me mid-pour if the amount was okay . Starbucks could NEVER. The flavor harmony was unreal -- espresso, biscoff, chai all blending perfectly without overpowering each other. Sonny: Strawberry Rose Matcha w/ oat milk 8.5/10, perfectly sweet and floral. Rabsang: 8/10 Blueberry Matcha w/ whole milk solid, but he wished he'd gone oat milk instead. Iber: 9/10 Peach Cobbler Matcha w/ oat milk legit tastes like pie in a cup. This place is a whole vibe. Drinks are creative, staff is thoughtful, and the space is aesthetic AF.
