I had a very concerning experience at this bagel store. I found a piece of glass in my bagel, which…read moreis obviously a serious safety issue. i took a bite and actually bit and chewed on the glass. I brought the glass in to show the manager, Shambo or whatever his name was expecting it to be taken seriously and properly addressed. Instead, the manager threw away the evidence I brought in. There was no appropriate concern, accountability, or effort to document what happened. Finding glass in food is unacceptable, especially when the customer is trying to report it responsibly. I would strongly urge others to be cautious, and I hope management takes food safety complaints much more seriously going forward. Shady management!

REVIEW: Railroad Bagel Express -- Babylon, NY Category:…read moreBreakfast Counter & Morning Staple Location: Railroad Avenue, Babylon Overall Rating: (5 / 5 Stars) CATEGORY BREAKDOWN 1. Speed & Morning Turnaround: 10/10 When you need to fuel up and get on with the day, you can't afford to burn twenty minutes waiting on a griddle. This place operates with true commuter discipline. The line can look daunting during the morning rush, but the crew behind the counter moves with purpose. You place your order, step aside, and have hot food in your hands before you know it. It's an efficient operation from start to finish. 2. Portion Size & Sustenance: 10/10 They do not skimp on fuel. We order the eggs platter with sausage, and the portion is immense--it easily feeds two adults without leaving anyone hungry. In an era where portions are shrinking while prices climb, finding a place that dishes out an honest, heavy plate of real food is a breath of fresh air. 3. Food Execution & Quality: 9.5/10 Clean, straightforward, and cooked right. The eggs come off the flat top hot, fluffy, and seasoned properly without being greasy. The sausage delivers that solid, savory bite you want alongside your breakfast. It's hearty, dependable fuel that keeps you running straight through midday without an afternoon crash. 4. Staff & Counter Rhythm: 9.5/10 The staff here knows their business. They take orders quickly, shout them down the line, and keep the register moving without unnecessary fuss or friction. Courteous, focused, and dialed into the early morning hustle. 5. Honest Value: 10/10 Getting a platter that generously feeds two people for the price they charge is rare. You get maximum return on your hard-earned dollar. A true blue-collar value that respects the working man's wallet. 6. Location & Access: 9.0/10 Right by the Babylon station, making it the definition of convenience for a quick pickup before a busy day. Parking right out front can be fast-paced due to train commuters coming and going, but spots turn over quickly enough that grabbing your food and heading out is painless. PROS & CONS + Lightning-fast counter service that respects your morning schedule. + Massive egg and sausage platter that provides more than enough food for two. + Consistently fresh, hot, and satisfying breakfast staples. + Exceptional value for the money. - Morning train lot traffic requires paying attention during peak commuter rush. THE VERDICT: 5.0 / 5.0 A vital community cornerstone for early mornings in Babylon. When you need solid sustenance, massive portions, and fast execution without any nonsense, Railroad Bagel Express delivers every single time.
