Absolute best moving company I've ever hired! I had mixed up my dates on the schedule and thought I'd had another whole day to pack. So when I got the text that the movers were on their way I panicked! The owner, J.R., was so cool about it. He had so much patience and compassion. He really went out of his way to make sure they could help me as much as possible within the window of time we had, at no extra cost. After having gone through a ton of stress leading up to moving day, I couldn't have asked for better customer service than what J.R. and his entire team provided. They were very calming and reassuring while I was apologizing and throwing stuff in boxes; they even helped me box stuff up and brought extra boxes of their own, just in case I didn't have enough. I felt completely safe with them--no creepy vibes whatsoever, which is incredibly important when strangers are in your home. And I honestly can't say enough about the quality of their work. They worked super fast, but did not sacrifice quality. Some of my furniture was more solid after they put it back together than it was before they took it apart! And a special thing for me was their willingness to move my bedroom furniture three times before I decided how I liked it. I didn't even have to ask. The young man said, "You don't like it there, do you? Let's try it another way. We want you to be happy with it." And I really am! I love my room! M&M Movers is an excellent company. I would definitely use them again, and definitely recommend them to anyone who is moving. I moved from East Bay to the Phoenix area. I had 6 different moving companies provide cost estimates and explain to me how they will handle my household goods. I have many pieces of furniture I purchase from all over the world and to me they are priceless. JR is the only one who convinced me that he would treat my furniture with the care I believe it deserves - and he followed through. And another plus, is that the price he quoted was the price I paid. All other companies gave me estimates that could not be guaranteed. JR delivered my household goods within 3 days of pickup - he could have delivered sooner but my house was not ready for a quicker delivery. All other companies told me that it would be 7-10 days before they would deliver - this was not acceptable. The only "complaint" I have is that at delivery, they didn't fully set up my adjustable bed; they didn't connect the power cord to the underside of the platform. I called JR and he said that one of his folks would return to complete the setup. The guy never showed up. The platform for the bed is too heavy for me to move, but a neighbor helped. That's the only thing that I could say didn't go well. There was no damage to anything. This is the best move I've ever had and I've moved a lot! I surely recommend M&M Movers. read more

Great service, moved us from Modesto to Jackson. Took great care of our stuff. Nacho, Cameron and the crew were polite and professional! Couldn't have done it without them. Price was well worth the service. Update: Sad to say that after the movers left Friday night I opened my jewelry armoire and noticed 4 diamond rings were missing. The rings were in foam in the armoire with several other rings but only the diamond rings were missing. Interestingly enough one of the movers said we can't guarantee anything won't fall out when we shrink wrapped it. They took the shrink wrap off when they put it in the Master bedroom but didn't take the shrink wrap off the two curio cabinets they put in the mater-bedroom. When my husband contacted the owner JR he said his employees were trustworthy but he would ask them if they knew anything about the rings. Basically he didn't believe us and we have not heard back from him. He was going to meet us on Sunday to pick up items the movers left behind but suddenly he had to go to the Bay Area. The reason I am writing this review is because I don't want anyone else to experience this. It really is heartbreaking because we really liked the crew and even tipped them. read more

These guys were great! They showed up within the specified time frame. We're very friendly, courteous, and professional. We moved from a 3rd story apartment into a home. They carried all of the big heavy furniture down the stairs by hand, including a china cabinet, full size dresser, armoire, and queen size bed set. They even unhooked and carried down the washer and dryer and hooked them back up in the house. Other companies that I called said they would move them but I'd have to unhook and reinstall them. All of the furniture was either shrink wrapped or blanket wrapped during the move. These guys were fast! I was getting tired just watching them go up and down the stairs. Upon arrival at the house, they did a walk through and asked where everything was supposed to go. Moved in and reassembled all of the furniture in super fast time. They were definitely worth every penny. What took them just over 3 hours(that was start to finish) with 3 people, would have taken my group of 10 people all day long that's for sure. JR and the crew made my move so much easier. I highly recommend them. I had trouble finding a moving company that had availability on short notice. JR not only fit me in, he accommodated 3 different change dates when my escrow didn't close on time. On moving day, the guys worked nonstop and got the job done. They were very polite. Each introduced themselves when they came in. They were very careful in both homes to not damage walls or flooring. JR saw that I was going to stick some artwork and blankets in my car. Without being asked, he brought me 2 wardrobe boxes and showed me how to use the blankets to safely pack the frames, then loaded them on the truck, to save me from having to move them. They arrived safely, as did everything else. No damage to anything! This was the best move ever! We will be calling them again soon to move some appliances from our rental property to our new home. And he did. M&M movers came through like no other. He came over personally to go over what we had to move and assured us were in the right hands. (1 year post move) M&M did a fine job packing and being flexible while our new home move-in dates changed. Where I am going to pick is the broken items that cannot be replaced: Stained Glass placed in boxes; WWII hat with a compressor placed on top; furniture cracked up the side, bedroom set surface scratched, Mexican pottery missing, the list goes on. The packing was unsupervised, and I believe that led to sticky fingers & unhappy workers who were pissed off (we didn't do anything). We used M&M movers when we sold and moved to my mother in laws while we built our home: they were amazing getting all our items to storage and to grandmas and moved stuff out of grandmas to storage for it all to work. I saved their info and just had them back to move us out of storage and my mom in laws into our finished home: Again they were amazing!
