We had "sort-of" settled on Taj Mahal quartzite from Bedrosians in Rancho Cordova. Dawson listened and understood our desires for patterns and veining. If I could give Michael more than five stars, I absolutely would…read more We hired Michael based on a referral for what turned out to be a massive custom home project. The scope of work included eight bathrooms with shower walls, shower ceilings, floors, wainscoting, and countertops, along with installing the engineered quartz in our kitchen, laundry room, and butler's pantry. He also installed the granite in the game room/bar area. It was an enormous job, yet Michael and his team completed it in just **2 weeks and 2 days**. Even more impressive, they never sacrificed quality for speed. Throughout our build we've had the opportunity to work with some outstanding subcontractors, including an exceptional electrician. But without question, Michael has stood out above everyone else. He's punctual, professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and takes tremendous pride in his work. What impressed me most, though, is his character. If something isn't exactly right, he doesn't make excuses or become defensive--he simply makes it right. That level of integrity is incredibly rare these days. I've also had multiple tradespeople working on our home--people who know quality craftsmanship when they see it--comment on what an outstanding tile and surface installer we have. Hearing that from other professionals only confirmed what we had already experienced firsthand. Beyond his workmanship, Michael is simply one of those people you genuinely enjoy being around. It honestly feels like I've known him for ten years. Our personalities clicked from the very beginning, and we've developed a friendship throughout this project. I can be completely honest with him, ask questions, or bring up concerns, and we've always been able to have open, respectful conversations. That's something I value tremendously. He is just an all around cool guy. Without a doubt, I believe we'll remain friends long after our home is finished. If you're looking for someone who delivers exceptional craftsmanship, stands behind his work, and is an absolute pleasure to work with, I cannot recommend Michael highly enough. Hiring him was one of the best decisions we made during our entire home build.

It took him a month to return my call but that didn't bother me because anything construction related is so much in demand right now, I was just happy to get a call back. Plus it worked out timing wise because when he returned my call, I was ready for the countertop portion of my project. Jaymes was quick to come over and take measurements and he recommend a few places for me to look at slabs. The next day, I had a slab picked out and he sent me the estimate. Once I paid the deposit, he had the countertops installed within 2.5 weeks. The turnaround time amazes me because I was expecting it to take at least a mont, again because of all the construction needs right now. I was not completely happy with the installation crew. They told me they were going to have to make a seams down the middle of the counter and backsplashes, which surprised me because Jaymes had told me the seams would only be in the corners. But after speaking to Jaymes about not being satisfied with multiple visible seams, he was able to accommodate my requests and put the seams in the corners. Also, the installation crew dented a cabinet while they were installing. The handles that were installed later covered the dent up so, no harm. Overall, I am very happy with the quick turnaround and the quality of the work. Jaymes did a great job lining up the grain patterns on the slabs so the backsplash matched the direction of the countertop. I would definitely use Stone Creation again and Jaymes was very easy to work with.

In fact, she never even needed to come to the house. I drove out to her office and picked up the samples and loved them before I even got home to demo them out. I'd like to note that she is trusting.
