Not sure if she had an appointment, but the gal that came in after us, was quickly being helped. So we just wandered looking at the different options. We did have a gal ask us if we had any questions. Now I'm deciding on getting new bathroom counter tops to my kitchen, so more decisions to be made. I've been wanting new countertops for a while, but had to prioritize with the backyard and the interior of the house. Very impressed with the pricing and choices available.. Of course the ones I liked had a sold sign! Now off to find a fabricator.

For well over 12 months I looked for a title and even hired an interior designer out of Incline to help find that perfect back-splash. No luck. I just so happened to come across JF Tile & Stone looking for a counter-top solution for a office area I was creating and was dumbfounded over the massive sample options. The staff are friendly and genuinely helpful. The gal I met there put me in touch with the owner Jennie. Actually, Jennie contacted me via text message and we bantered back and forth and I send her photos of my entire kitchen and VOILA! In a few moments found that perfect back-splash tile solution. In fact, she never even needed to come to the house. I drove out to her office and picked up the samples and loved them before I even got home to demo them out. I'd like to note that she is trusting. She let me take home an entire huge bock of tiles to try out! No deposit or anything. She simply trusted me. That's really sweet! Of course, I went with her pick and I couldn't be happier. In fact, and this is for the next review, she coordinated/recommend an installer and whoa. AMAZING! As you can see from the photo that is shared... PERFECTION! Who took her time and gave me quite a "tile 101" education, which was greatly appreciated. She gave me so much to think about, I came back the next day and Ashley helped me, as Kathy was on her lunch break. With her help AND the knowledge, I'd gained previously from Kathy, I was able to swiftly select the tile and make my purchase. I'll drive back tomorrow to pick-up my order. It's a 60-mile round-trip from my home (Carson City) to Sparks Tile and Stone and I'm happy to do it for the incredible service I receive here. What a fantastic and friendly business!!! We purchased a beautiful piece of granite that had this amazing blueish natural pattern running through it. We had a vision for what we wanted for our kitchen island and Aldo beautifully fabricated the granite, using the natural pattern as the focus. Aldo met us at the granite shop to look at the granite, met us in Truckee to take measurements and then fabricated the granite and quartz for installation. Aldo was always responsive from the first phone call and even after completion when we had a question. He kept all appointments, great communication and just overall wonderful to work with. They cover the floors and even put plastic around the entry points to the work areas to mimimize the dust reaching the rest of the house. They take great care in removing the existing products, clean up the work area each day and have a lot of respect for the customer's personal property. The backsplashes and baseboards were removed without damaging the drywall above them. The seam between the edge detail and the countertops is invisible. They arrived at the job when they said they would and completed the job on schedule. They respond promptly to texts and phone calls. There was always clear communication regarding the project. They pay attention to details and are superb craftsmen. A lot of thought is put into matching the placement of the quartz pattern on all the walls so that it blends nicely. Martin helped me tremendously with picking out a piece from their large selection of remnants. They were quick to get it cut and installed but unfortunately there was a problem with the counter top. The sink was off center. Spenser (owner) was responsive, professional and forward thinking about this issue. He went above and beyond to rectify the situation by finding another remnant from another company that closely matched the original and cutting a brand new top at his expense. I was very pleased with the customer service I received from Spenser and his entire crew.
