The dishwasher was never secured to the under side of the new counter so it was loose and would tip forward when the door was opened falling out of the hole. It is dangerous for my parents or anyone when a heavy appliance is not secured. They sent their sub-contractor - read THEIR subcontractor "Michael" to fix it and it immediately came loose again. Pic below - because it was not secured with the screw correctly. My Mom has called on three occasions and even visited the store to ask the owner to send someone again to secure it. Nathan has "blamed" the subcontractor passing the issue "I have called him and texted him" and months later it STILL not been addressed. Poor poor poor way to treat a couple in their 80s - once Nathan had their money, I guess they had no value to him.

The staff are friendly and genuinely helpful. The gal I met there put me in touch with the owner Jennie. Actually, Jennie contacted me via text message and we bantered back and forth and I send her photos of my entire kitchen and VOILA! In a few moments found that perfect back-splash tile solution. In fact, she never even needed to come to the house. I drove out to her office and picked up the samples and loved them before I even got home to demo them out. I'd like to note that she is trusting. She let me take home an entire huge bock of tiles to try out! No deposit or anything. She simply trusted me. That's really sweet! Of course, I went with her pick and I couldn't be happier. In fact, and this is for the next review, she coordinated/recommend an installer and whoa. AMAZING! As you can see from the photo that is shared... PERFECTION! When we have had to switch products her response has been, no problem. When I wanted to show the selections to the designer, she offered to pull all the samples and have them ready. I have visited almost all of the tile and stone stores in Reno and Minden and the service at Nova Tile and Stone, specifically in the Minden store, was the best. They have a great team who all work well together and create a great environment to spend time choosing purchases. Joe assisted me last year when I purchased quartzite slabs and he was extremely knowledgable and made the whole experience enjoyable and fun. This time around I booked an design appointment with Susan and she could not have made the process more enjoyable or successful. Having visited Bedrosian and used the designer service there I can say that Susan (Nova, Minden) by comparison had more experience, better customer service, listened to what I actually wanted and made the best use of my time. I had previously visited the Reno store and Diane was great but the Minden location far surpasses my expectations in every way. If you don't want to spend hours and months of weekends looking for stone and tile I would suggest booking a design appointment at Nova Tile and Stone in Minden (even if you are closer to Reno).

This is long overdue . . . we had a small roof leak on our house in Tahoe Donner. We had a…read moreroofing contractor come out to repair the leak. Unfortunately, after their work, the leak was still there. He said there was nothing more that they could do. Since the leak was small, we decided to address this in the future. Fast forward one year later, we now have a second leak in the same area. I called 4 roofing contractors to address these 2 smaller leaks. Two never bothered to return my call. One did not show for the appointment, which did not matter because we had already met with Doug Nickerson and decided we would use them. Doug returned my call and made an appointment to look at our situation. Doug called on the day of our appointment to let me know he was running early, was that OK? Hell yes! After inspecting our roof, he was confident where and how the leak was occurring, and that they would have no problem remedying the problem. As far as scheduling, since it was such a smaller job, he said they would fit it in somewhere between jobs. Could be a week, a month, whatever. Well, two days later, I get a call from Doug saying they could get there that morning! Their guys show up, go to work on the leaks as well as give our metal roof a total screw down. They are done and gone by 1:00 pm. Two years later . . . No leaks and performing well. I have the company who will be doing any roofing work I need from now on. Very pleasant, great communicator and fantastic work. Plus an SF Giants fan for a bonus. I STRONGLY recommend them for any roofing work you have.

We had two different people come and measure and we still ended up with a different white counter top then I picked out and our over hang was about 2 inches shorter than promised. The installer ( recommended by the company) left our countertops looking half installed and he gave us attitude when we tried to get him back to finish what he started. We let all that go because we were in the middle of a larger reno and just wanted to be done. HOWEVER, the quartz countertop is now cracking!!! The quality is obviously not there and the installer truly screwed us. I WOULD NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS.
